“Visited Coleman Public House on Sunday afternoon. Great burger and Beet Salad. Great beer selection.Service was great too.I like a clean restaurant but my eyes were watering from the cleaning solution they use and the smell of it made it hard to enjoy the meal. Also, I can't help but mention that the silverware was what you might expect at Golden Coral not at an upscale Public House.“
“Although I have never stayed at one of the PH rooms, I have dined there a number of times since they’ve been open. Each time has been such a memorable experience. Staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, at home, and catered to. The environment of PH (both indoor and outdoor) is immaculate. PH is curated with beautiful southern decor which makes you feel right at home in The Old Village. But I have to say, I experience just as good of hospitality at their Basic Kitchen location. Basic Projects seemingly always go the extra mile in training their staff to deliver the true southern experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone local or visiting Charleston.Nearby activities: Walking distance of Old VillageSafety: In safe Mt. Pleasant, Old Village neighborhood.Walkability: Walkable to Shem Creek.Food & drinks: Clean and upscale eats.Noteworthy details: Curated southern decor.“
“My family was in town for vacation and wanted to find somewhere for breakfast other than the usual chains. We stumbled upon Sunrise Bistro and couldn't have had a better experience. I don't remember the last time I've encountered such genuinely kind and friendly people in the service industry. On top of the exceptional service, the food was amazing! My son loved his chicken and waffles! My other son had a chorizo breakfast burrito and inhaled every bite! My husbandoved the self serve coffee bar. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Don't miss this place!“
“Ordered the soft shell crab special… it was HUGE! Got two of them along with risotto and broccoli. We had good service but witnessed a few customers coming up to staff saying they needed service at their table. Otherwise we were just fine. Husband got the new Tuna bowl… which was also amazing. I will say my soft soft crab special, being $49.95, should have been disclosed ahead of time (the cost.) I probably would have still ordered as the dish was a ton of food but for others, maybe something to consider. I wish I snapped a pic of it. Broccoli was cooked PERFECTLY and the risotto was sooo good. It had corn and asparagus cuts in it. Amazing. Overall, great experience, with friendly staff.“
“Our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Red Drum was truly exceptional, and I can't praise it enough. Every aspect of the evening exceeded our expectations. The staff was not only professional but also warm and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed. The food was outstanding, receiving numerous compliments for both its variety and quality. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making us feel at ease throughout the entire event. Words can't express how pleased we were with our experience. Red Drum has certainly won us over as lifelong patrons, and I'll confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.Parking: Not a ton of parking at the restaurant, but plenty of on street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.“
“A month ago, was able to reserve dinner for a big group of 20.Arrived this past Tuesday and Travis Parys (G.M.) did a great job in helping coordinate the 2 tables, staff (our server was Whitney and she did fantastic-sadly I can't remember the name of other gentleman at 2nd table). Everyone was thrilled with the drinks, service and excellent food. All stated they would return. Thanks for helping me make the start of our 3 day adventure in Charleston so perfect.“
“I showed up at 7 minutes before closing time with a special needs adult and a toddler. Server Kelly looked at us as we poked our heads in, looked at the clock, and said "sure, come on in." She proceeded to serve us like we were VIP's and the best thing to happen to her all day. What's more, the food is awesome. Really good. Huge menu for a breakfast place. I'm a fan.“
“We were seated right away on a Monday night. The restaurant was about 3/4 full and appeared to be doing a brisk take-away. Donna was our server and was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and were quite good size portions! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the Thai chili sauce was a great compliment to it. My husband's roast beef sandwich was stuffed full and he even liked the horseradish mayo they used. This place is definitely going on the list of where to eat in Mount Pleasant.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegetarian options.“
“This restaurant was so cute and the food was delicious! The staff were so kind and friendly. The kids keep asking to go back which is rare for everyone to agree on the same place! We highly recommend the creamy polenta, it was so good we ordered a second round!Kid-friendliness: Great kids options, friendly staff“
“Absolutely delicious! We were so lucky to find Crave on our last night in Mount Pleasant. Perfect ending to our trip. Abigail was a delightful waitress and very helpful. From the sweet potato bread with honey butter, pan-seared cod on hummus with spring vegetables, the Mediterranean salad, and chocolate/peanut butter dessert, we were in food heaven. Even the Sea Island spiced Rum and coke were perfect. Expensive, but worth every penny. We would be eating here frequently if we lived in the Charleston area.Vegetarian options: Several salad options as well as appetizers.Dietary restrictions: My husband and I are diabetic and try to watch carb intake. We are also vegetarian. I didn't do as well because I had to try dessert. However, there were quite a meals that met our needs and we were happy.Parking: Crave is in a cute shopping development. There was parking in front as well behind the restaurant. There was a entrance in the back so that you don't have to walk around to the front door in inclement weather.“
“Very nice restaurant by the water with great views on the creek with a sight of dolphins. Seafood platter was very good, pimiento cheese was too creamy I prefer them a little more tough but still ok and then had the swordfish which was really really good with a chickpea pepper base really appreciated that! Definitely will be back it’s a great place“
“Get the Hans special coffee don't know how he makes it he won't tell but it's chocolatyVegetarian options: Get the tomato and fresh mozzarella with pesto on foccacciaDietary restrictions: Locally sourced as much as possibleKid-friendliness: They employ half of WandoWheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp“
“I love Art's - it may easily be one of the best burgers in South Carolina (just a plain cheeseburger, yes!), and the rest of the food should be tested very soon. Art's apparently serves mean chicken wings (happy hour on Wednesdays!). Service is great, atmosphere classic ...“
“We had the best drinks ever made by the bartender Gage! He was so sweet & made such delicious drinks. We had the lavender sunset, blackberry smash, and a Kentucky mule. He even made up a delicious mocktail for my 10 year old niece. We’ll definitely come back! ?“
“Stopped in on way to Isle of Palms. Wasn’t very busy, mid week about an hour before closing. Staff was great (one was training another and they both seemed to be good at their job, so the training must have been solid). Two adults, two teens and one toddler and we all enjoyed it. The four of us non-toddlers all finished our burgers and thought they were really good (the teens added it to our “we are coming back here next trip to SC). I had the Napa Valley burger and it was fantastic. Also needs to be said that the burgers are a “normal” size - maybe they’re a little smaller than some places, but they’re a perfect size. You’re not dislocating a jaw or deconstructing the burger to enjoy it. A lot of place could learn from this portion size. If you want something crazily oversized, go for the onion rings.“
“The food is amazing. Fresh squeezed juices make for extraordinary cocktails. The service is so refreshing- thank you sincerely Hank for making every visit one we enjoy immensely. For all visiting- and I hesitate just a little to admit this- this is where locals go. If you like dive bar meets great music, food, drinks, and service- this is your place.“
“Fantastic spot. Right on the water. Tons of shade on the deck. Several bars to hang out at. BBQ was fine but wouldn’t recommend. The grilled shrimp were awesome. Grouper fingers were delicious and light. Would definitely recommend for drinks. We got the dockside lemonade that was delicious but are way stronger than they seem.“
“Absolutely amazing! Adam our server was awesome and very knowledgeable! The hostesses were very welcoming! The bone in ribeye, the wine suggestions from Adam, the green beans, whipped potatoes, soft shell crab, and the wedge salad were all absolutely perfect!! I don’t think you can go wrong here and would come back regularly if I lived here. If I had one complaint at all was the bartender could have been more friendly, but we all have bad days. Great job overall!“
“The oysters were Local and Canadian, very tasty. Menu is limited and posted on Instagram. We ordered the Halibut and pasta dish, both freshly made. They were delicious!!!Service was excellent. This is a quaint restaurant with a nice bar and sound system. Outstanding selection of wines as well. The staff brought out a scrumptious pastry for dessert as it was our Wedding Anniversary. If you're looking for something special, this is the place to visit!!!I would recommend making a reservation so you are not disappointed“
“The place to go for some good breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The food here is always good, and the portion sizes do fit the price tag. The drinks here are also good with their variety of breakfast cocktails and spiked coffees, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The dining area is clean, and the service was pretty quick. The staff were very helpful and friendly to make sure our table was taken care of. I'd definitely recommend this place for brunch.Parking: Free strip mall parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take the kids and family.“
“I love this restaurant. Wonderfully inviting atmosphere to enjoy a great relaxing food experience. First, let's start with the fresh baked bread. Not sliced, but a whole loaf to enjoy.Cocktails, of course. Then on to the mouth watering steaks.Juicy, cooked to perfection with side dishes, so very good.We go to Longhorn Steakhouse at least two times per month. Always outstanding!“
“Parts of our meal were really outstanding (the poached pear salad). Other parts were just okay (crab cake, brussel sprouts). Meats (filet & pork chop) were cooked perfectly. House sangria not as flavorful as I'd hoped. Overall we enjoyed ourselves & would return to try different things.“
“Always have a good time at Mainland. On the most recent visit, it was pretty crowded and they may have been understaffed so service was a little slow. But service staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the grouper bites which were ok. Not a fan of the breading/batter they used but the fish was good and great sauce to accommodate. They usually have some live music on the weekends and the outdoor space is where it’s all at! Usually they have decent amount of seating unless it’s an oyster roast day.The best part is the dogs love it.“
“We are visiting Charleston and went in search of a nice, reasonable, well served seafood place. We found Wando River Grill and it is AMAZING in everyway!! Our server, Maggie, was so patient, helpful and attentive--we loved her!! The white chocolate bread pudding is out of this world--you have to try it! We will be back!!!“
“Overall: A delicious yet expensive lunch. The good: The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The focaccia bread might as well have been from Italy. The sandwich was Thanksgiving-themed, with cranberry, turkey, stuffing, dressing, and more. It definitely hit the spot and I felt full afterwards. It's nice to be able to sit outside with the tables and enjoy the neighborhood. The not-so-good: Expensive. The sandwiches were great, but charging for as much as they did is a bit much. The prices aren't on the menu so unless you explicitly asked for prices you are bound to get sticker shock. They also took awhile to come out on a relatively normal lunch hour. The side pasta salad was small.“
“Server Lavonne was great! Very responsive and pleasant. Had the Florentine Biscuit Bennie. Thought I wouldn’t like it with the biscuit instead of english muffin, but loved it. Egg cooked perfectly and biscuit was yummy. I sat at one of the high tops in the bar area and couldn’t have asked for better service! Coffee was ver good too and they even had oat milk.“
“Just your little neighborhood Pizza joint serving up fresh ingredients on an awesome crust. Lunch Specials can't be beat. Their Meatball Appetitizer is the bomb, but only get 2 per order. Slices are Very Big. Their down side is the Wings Rock, but at Market Price, it's pricey. I had 12 wings. Med Buffalo and $25.00, way too high over their competition in the Mt. Pleasant Area.“
“The food we ordered was pretty good, although there isn't much to choose from as vegetarians I was happy with my order. The atmosphere is casual and reminiscent of a late 70s diner with a crowd of mostly local high school students. The staff was very friendly and proficient. This is not a location I would have thought to choose, but after giving it a try, I'll quite likely go again sometime.Vegetarian options: Although there are very few vegetarian options, the food that we did order was surprisingly good. I recommend the waffles and hashbrowns.“
“Really liked eating here. My server was awesome! The food was absolutely phenomenal. This is in a really upscale neighborhood called Ion. I will definitely eat here again. It was just the right size building. Nice people too.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“I only put one star for food because every time I go they are not serving food but the service is excellent the bartender there she is amazing. Atmosphere for me is also a plus there's sometimes you go in theaters about a handful of people which is great because that gives me easy access to get my bmarriages you can sit at the bar are at the table also there are 2 pool tables which when it's not too crowded you can always get to play there's also sitting outside“
“We had a great experience with a large group following a baseball game. They moved tables to accommodate us and our server Brittany was excellent! Food came out fast and was excellent. We ordered fish and chips, nachos, wings, and burgers amongst our group and everyone enjoyed immensely!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!“
“First time trying this establishment ,Great food , excellent service from a friendly staff. I had the 3 taco selection,House, Chicken and Pulled Pork. They were all great. I tried to decide which one I liked best, I could not decide. That’s how good they all were. The folks who staff this place are on the ball and very friendly.I’m already looking forward to my next visit.Parking: Parking is free , close and convenient.“
“This is a very nice spot for breakfast (all day.) Clean and nice environment inside and also has come comfortable booths. We had an omelet, pancake, egged benedict, and sweet tea. Kasita was a wonderful waitress. They have booster seats and high chairs. Parking in back.Parking: Park in back parking free lotKid-friendliness: Have booster seat, high chair coloring paper Nd crayons.“
“Amazing isn’t even the word to begin with!! I had my son’s 16th birthday party on March 24 and from beginning to end, the level of professionalism and accuracy was astounding. Summer one of the event coordinators has been such a huge help from start to finish! I can’t brag enough on how amazing everything was! Will definitely be coming back to celebrate my birthday next! The food was amazing I didn’t even get a chance to snag a plate hahaa!“
