“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.”

“Small store but not too much selection, the customer service was great. It has a restaurant in the back, but we did not dine. It is off a road that has heavy traffic and usually gets congested, it can be a hassle getting in and out.”

“Beautiful Oceanview and watched dolphins play for long periods of time from our deck.Parked the car and cover the whole island by golf cart the whole week.several pools to enjoy including adult pool (very peaceful)and many beach accesses to explore.Freeing newly hatched sea turtles in the evening. Very good food on island andoff the island. Lots of deer that will even come up to your golf cart.Two beautiful golf courses, Would highly recommend checking this out with friends and family!”

My table I love is always waiting where from the moment we sit down, my husband and I together or when I pop in unexpectedly on a Saturday when I come to our Fripp ocean honey are just so thankful.. The fresh food makes me feel like we are home in Southern California and the deserts well, let's just say, I skip the salad after the entree each time as Megan always makes fresh coffee as I sip the last of my chardonnay and Alden enjoys the last of his cabernet.. “William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!”

“Old Bull Tavern is wonderful! Katie was our server and she was very friendly, helpful and attentive! Our meals were excellent. We shared the Winemakers Salad which was huge and very fresh! The Madrileno Pizza was awesome… the Iberico ham was indeed the star and truly complimented the pizza. The Ricotta Gnocchi with Shrimp was very good, shrimp cooked perfectly. We definitely order it all over again. We ended with the much recommended Tiramisu! It did not disappoint!! My favorite Tiramisu ever! We highly recommend Old Bull Tavern and make reservations as it fills up quickly!”

“We enjoyed a wonderful meal 2 nights ago! Lisa was our server and she was phenomenal. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and fried Oysters as starters followed by the Pan Seared Scallops and Shrimp and the Grouper Special. All perfectly prepared! When we return to Beaufort we certainly will return! Service, great timing in bring out absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend!”

“Although we were very disappointed this time with Fishcamp, food that we did get was good. Our visit this year was on May 26, 2024 Last year at this time I was able to order the fried flounder and fries from the gluten free area. It was absolutely delicious! We have looked forward to eating here again. I had recommended this restaurant to family and friends. We realize I eat at my own risk. I don’t have a gluten problem I have a dairy allergy. This time however, per our waitress, I could only have the low country boil with no butter or the filet mignon. No salads as they all have cheese on them. I guess salads may be premade. I ordered the low country boil. It was to have shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn. It came with no sausage. We asked for it and it was promptly brought out as four small pieces not cooked or even warm. Some of the boiled shrimp were so mushy on the inside I could not eat them. As for the taste of the rest it was good. The corn was very fresh. My husband ordered the fried shrimp and fries. That plate looked good but the order of fries was ten small fries. Our waitress was Melanie. We were her only table outside that I am aware of. I never got refills on water and my husband only got one refill on tea. As I said we were outside where it was warm and we quickly drank our beverages. I am not sure that we will eat here again nor recommend it.”

“Pretty good food but not my favorite presentation or seating arrangements. Expect to be sat within arma reach of other tables and only a single restroom for the whole restaurant.

Food was good but 90% of their menu is tacos and booze which is fine for us taco lovers! They are served with the filling for 2 tacos on top of two tortillas. It is quite difficult to get the second tortilla out from under the other and there is too much filling to go at it as one taco. I just decided to eat it down with a fork and eat a double tortilla single taco.”
