“4.5 ⭐️ Ate at a bar 2 person high top which was nicer than expected. Service was prompt and some of the best we had while on HHI. Had the veal piccata, started with arugula salad (forgot to snap photo), chicken parm (husband said it was ok) and finished with hot chocolate dessert. Definitely try this dessert! I would dine again and recommend.”

“Food was ? and they were SO hospitable! First thing they said to us was Happy Anniversary when we arrived. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and they still seated us immediately. Served us complimentary Prosecco and their “in house made” limoncello. We love ordering our favorite Italian desserts at the end so I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have a classic cannoli, but their other options were still delicious. We will definitely be back again.”

“After spending a week in Hilton Head and frequenting many of the local restaurants, would have to say Alfred's was our favorite. So much so that we ate dinner there twice and both meals were amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, served piping hot and with a delicious sauce. The German platter is fantastic, and don't miss the potato pancake appetizer. Alfred's delivers where too many restaurants fail - phenomenal food & service.”

“Fantastic! We love Italian food and the island has many great options, however, this has quickly risen to our favorite. The place is tiny so don't expect to walk in. 3 days before, our options for a table for two were around 500 or 745. While 745 was late, it was better than the earlier time. We were seated promptly at a great cozy table, welcomed warmly and served a carafe of cold flat water. Our server, Angie G, was great! Asked if we had been there before (had not) and were thanked for coming in. We shared a delicious kale salad (on the menu it's called: Cavolo e Pecorino. It was portioned out for us on two dishes. Lemon and a good EVOO plus some magic ingredients made for a perfect light dressing. My husband ordered the orecchiette con salciccia (with sausage and broccolini) and I had the lemon chicken over angel hair "pollo y limone." The wine list was very nice and we shared a bottle of montepulciano. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, and could have easily shared, but we each loved our choices. Great people, great meal, great place!”

“We continue to be impressed by the entire dining experience at this Hilton Head Island gem. Everyone who waited on us, from the hostess to the bartender to the server, to the sommelier was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant. And the food, wine, and cocktails were all exquisite. It is a very small place, but it feels spacious enough due to very clever decorating. The bar is beautiful. We enjoy both the full dining experience, as well as the wine and cocktail experiences at the bar. Can't wait to visit again when we return to Hilton Head Island in May.”

“The Studio is a wonderful upscale restaurant right here on Hilton Head Island. The menu, food and service is incomparable. The owners are welcoming and engaging. A lovely art gallery shares the restaurant space in this cozy location. If you are lucky enough to witness one of the local artists creating a masterpiece while you are dining, that's an added bonus! I would highly recommend a visit to The Studio.”

“Fishcamp is a great little seafood spot in Hilton Head! The restaurant is small and it’s not very conveniently located, but it is absolutely worth the effort! Everything we got was delicious, and it’s location on Broad Creek is very scenic. I would especially recommend the jalapeño hushpuppies and the shrimp and polenta!”

“I bought a gift certificate for my boyfriend and he just told me that he redeemed it with his sister and her husband today, having an early dinner which featured a robust selection discounted off dinner menu prices. The Cobb Salad, Chicken Marsala and Pork Snitzel and potatoes were all delicious as were the side Cesaer Salad and other sides. Great good, atmosphere and excellent service from Lauren! I thought it was especially nice that she read my birthday message and gave him a cannoli to share with his guests. They highly recommended Frankie Bones in Hilton Head.”

“Top notch experience last night at Truffles Cafe. The interior of the restaurant is just gorgeous, with an upscale, sophisticated feel. In spite of that, we felt perfectly comfortable in our casual attire. Our server, while new in his role, got everything right. He was cheerful, attentive, offered great suggestions and made our experience overall a memorable one. Our drinks (Paloma and Martini) were a lovely way to start off the meal. Shortly after warm bread with garlic chive butter arrived at the table, our starter of Baked Brie followed. It was baked in a flaky, turnover-style pastry crust, dotted with Kahlua-soaked pecans, and served with toasted baguette slices. Our entrees (Crab Cake and Grilled Ahi Tuna) were delicious and cooked to perfection. We wrapped up our meal with a shared slice of Key Lime pie - a decadently scrumptious finish. All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. We could not be more pleased and would definitely visit again if we return to Hilton Head. One tip for anyone who wants to make a visit to Truffles Cafe and is NOT staying on the island. There is a $9 entrance fee at the gate to enter the island and you’ll need to be prepared to pay that to enter and visit the restaurant. Thanks so much for the lovely meal and service! Would highly recommend.”

“We had dinner at LULU's twice during our stay on HHI in March. Both times the food was exceptional. We tried the peach BBQ salmon dish, the Pan Roasted halibut, the Bouillabaisse, and the Bone-in pork chop. My wife is still raving about the Bouillabaisse! As for me, I just can't pick a favorite as they all were great. The service was excellent too. We had Taima, also know as T, for our server, She was awesome. She knew the menu very well and has a great personality. Already looking forward to our next trip to HHI and dining at LULU kitchen. The prices are very reasonable for HHI, no issues with the prices.”

“Charlie was excellent and we appreciated his kindness We were questioned not once but TWICE on arrival as to why we parked in a handicap spot - despite the fact that we had his handicap placard displayed - my 55 yr old husband recently endured a heart transplant - AND WAS ACTIVELY recovering - it made for an awkward scene in the presence of his three grown sons - for a proud man - I recommend some kind of hospitality training for your staff - why make your guests go through this embarrassing situation - we plan on making the ADA aware. Disgraceful.”

“This bustling little bakery is so cute with a cozy and Parisian vibe. Their desserts are all gorgeous and taste incredible. They had such a wide variety and something for everyone. Their coffee menu was also extensive. We got a Raspberry Love and Ultimate Bon Bon and they were both incredible. The employees were so sweet to us and the service was very quick. Definitely a must stop for dessert lovers. They had tons of French desserts as well as crazy croissants and breads. An incredible little place.”

We had a lot of food but totally forgot to take pics so my pics are what we had left over, pinto beans, rice and salsa. The asada tacos were amazing and fajitas were amazing. Ear Candy is a band with 3 incredibly talented musicians, these people are world class. The service was fun and friendly. The food is outstanding. We had the crab stuffed oysters and the Northern special. Both were delicious. Our drinks were perfect. Our peach dessert was to die for and our guests enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate dessert. Fries and tater tots were both subpar, from the tots I'm pretty confident in saying they just need to turn the fryer oil temp up and or double fry them since they were on the soggy side and not browned.The chicken tenders were actually surprisingly flavorful and tasted homemade, a nice break from the typical Sysco tenders you find. I don't see why people are complaining about price, the meals were all $9ish which is very fair for non McDonald's/Wendy's burgers.”

I woke up early this morning & got her a few gifts & then got to wondering if Hilton Head had a cute pastry place. I looked it up and drove to Paris Baguette.It was absolutely SO cute! The atmosphere is amazing. The pastry’s are displayed perfectly & I love that you can get them yourself! Samantha bagged them up for me after I got a plate full & she as well made my large caramel macchiato. I completely forgot to ask for it iced. I asked her to throw some ice in the cup & she was so sweet about it! Samantha was professional yet so personable!! After I left I went back to our condo, decorated, set up my Mamas gifts along with her orange justice and pastry’s from Paris Baguette. My Mama loves pastries & she said these were the best!!! We loved it so much we’re most likely stopping by on the way home tomorrow morning. 100/10!!”

“Updated April, 2024. Food and prices are great. Service is good. We ate here twice during our HHI stay. The first time we ate outside, there was no live music, and it was very enjoyable. The second time we came was on a weekend. The live music seemed very loud outside (had to yell to talk to the receptionist), so we opted to be seated inside. Unfortunately, with all hard surfaces inside, it was incredibly loud inside as well. Go when there is no live entertainment and sit outside.”

“So happy we found this cute cafe! My daughter, who is celiac, and I stopped here at the end of our visit to Hilton Head, as we were leaving to drive back home. So many options and all gluten-free, which is such a delight!! Everything looked good, it was hard to choose!The staff were all super-friendly and patient as we mulled our choices since there were so many. My daughter had the GF breakfast bagel sandwich. They offered me a regular one that they could prepare in a separate kitchen but I declined and got the GF frittata instead. All delicious!We took home a variety of baked goods as well. My daughter especially liked the carrot cake-red velvet cupcake and the coffee cake. But they were all so good! Can’t wait to come back here next time we are in Hilton Head!”

“Becoming my own personal tradition and highlights of my trips to Hilton Head, grabbing a poke bowl (because no else in my family is wild about it), maybe even an açaí bowl and enjoying it while my kids play at the lowcountry celebration park across the street. It’s either an easy walk or there’s a nice pick up window where you can order ahead of you want to picnic at the park. Great poke. Fresh and delicious. Definitely one of my happy places on HHi.”

The gelato was amazing, I got 2 scoops of dark chocolate on a red velvet cone and it was the richest chocolate gelato I’ve ever had. We met the owner, Nona, and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely stop by here before you leave the island.”

“Friend driving from south Florida back home to New Jersey stopped to visit and select Poseidon for dinner.I have celiac, so always searching for restaurants with options. Poseidon has an extensive gluten free menu and will take multiple visits for me to try everything.We each ordered a wedge salad. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver one to my friend. Had to flag down server. He said a second wedge salad was not ordered, but will take care of and delivered within a minute or so. The strange part is when we initially placed our order, the server read our order back to us for confirmation.The wedge salad was presented on a nicely chilled plate, which is key. Salad is well prepared and more going on than the standard wedge salad. The wedge includes tomatoes, bacon, boiled egg, cucumbers, onions and bleu cheese dressing. Well prepared and looking forward to having again soon.Friend ordered the mixed grill. Steak cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Meal was very good and crab cake was excellent.I selected the jambalaya, which is filled with plenty of items and not just a bowl of rice. The portion is on the larger side, and currently I am a tad overweight, so perfect for big boned old guy. A touch of heat at the end of each bite making it even better.A little carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake to finish it off. Both very good.A little takeaway order of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato for my boy Handsome Sammy. “A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.”

“Dined at lunch. Had the Asian influenced salad. Husband had fish and chips. Started with shrimp app at recommendation of server. It was delicious with 6 large shrimp. Broth it was in was like a delicious soup. Yummy to dip the bread in too. Most impressive atmosphere too. Beautiful instaworthy surroundings IMO. Try to get one of the 2 top tables along the right side with large leather armchairs if you are a party of 2! Loved it! Would go again and definitely recommend. “Friend driving from south Florida back home to New Jersey stopped to visit and select Poseidon for dinner.I have celiac, so always searching for restaurants with options. Poseidon has an extensive gluten free menu and will take multiple visits for me to try everything.We each ordered a wedge salad. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver one to my friend. Had to flag down server. He said a second wedge salad was not ordered, but will take care of and delivered within a minute or so. The strange part is when we initially placed our order, the server read our order back to us for confirmation.The wedge salad was presented on a nicely chilled plate, which is key. Salad is well prepared and more going on than the standard wedge salad. The wedge includes tomatoes, bacon, boiled egg, cucumbers, onions and bleu cheese dressing. Well prepared and looking forward to having again soon.Friend ordered the mixed grill. Steak cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Meal was very good and crab cake was excellent.I selected the jambalaya, which is filled with plenty of items and not just a bowl of rice. The portion is on the larger side, and currently I am a tad overweight, so perfect for big boned old guy. A touch of heat at the end of each bite making it even better.A little carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake to finish it off. Both very good.A little takeaway order of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato for my boy Handsome Sammy. Three point five paws up.Definitely plan to return and begin my little journey through the remainder of the gluten free menu.To round it out, great views as well.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian selections including vegetarian short ribs.Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu with plenty of options.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu including the all time favorite, noodles, butter & cheese”

“We had a party of 8, our reservation table was ready. Our server Tyler was right there to welcome us, take our drink orders and promptly returned with our drinks. Told and explained the specials for the evening. Took our appetizer orders. Brought out their delicious sliced bread and dipping sauce. Took everyone's order and all food came out together and delicious. The entire experience was excellent.”

“Love the water front dining experience here. You'd think with Hilton Head being an island that there might be more chances to have that but there are not. We enjoy the dinners here but the long wait can sometimes damper the experience especially with small children, so come early. The food is always good but nothing had ever jumped off the plate as spectacular or amazing. Again the service is always good but with the large crowds and volume of business sometimes the attention to detail for personalized service goes unnoticed. However there's never been anything that would prevent us from coming back and we look forward to our next visit to give it another try.”

“We visited to celebrate our Aunt's birthday. To enter the restaurant, you have to pay a minimum of $9 (per car) at the security gate, which wouldn'tbe too much of a problem. But, they only take cash. Because our party size was over 20 people, this required a trip to the ATM.. The security guard advised that the restaurant would apply a $9 credit to our bill once we arrived.When we arrived, there was very limited parking. There is no fee for parking. The restaurant had an antique setting. Our party was seated in a private area upstairs, which was cozy but was set up really nice. The servers were very attentive, especially given our large party size.The food was pretty good. The seasoning is average on the meat and nonexistent on the veggies. The chocolate mousse cake was my favorite. It was very light and not overly sweet. Get the pasta dish! One of my family members ordered it. I tasted it, and it was delicious.We arrived early for our Aunt's surprise birthday dinner. While we were waiting for close to 45 minutes, we were asked if we wanted to order drinks and apps. We asked if the app orders would be brought out while waiting and was told that they would. We placed app orders that never came. When we checked, we were told that they were waiting for everyone to arrive....smh. Complimentary bread is provided. However, it wasn't served until after an hour of being seated.The serving team was well-versed in the menu and was very attentive, despite the bumps with the apps and bread. I also appreciated the amount of patience that they had with everyone.Overall, the restaurant, food, and service was good.”
