Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. I wound up having a sampling of much of their menu in their spätzle plate: two brats over spätzle, kraut, and potato cakes. It was delicious! My wife, who wasn't sure what to expect (having never eaten German food before) had their pimento cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was not too crowded or overwhelming (surprising, as it was a Friday night). Definitely give it a try if you're in Chattanooga and looking for something different.“
“This was our first time eating here and the food was amazing! Everything is fresh and homemade. The selection and prices are good for the type of food you get and they have sooo many choices. We tried the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, squash casserole, broccoli casserole, cucumber salad, pecan rice pilaf, brunswick stew and southwest corn chowder. The $5 portions of the sides will feed a family of three adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The full size meatloaf was enough for two days for the same amount of people with a little left over for a sandwich. This is a great option for working parents and couples of all ages. You can mix and match and cut down your time in the kitchen without sacrificing quality home cooked meals. Just decide what you can cook and supplement the rest. My first meal that I mixed with some home cooked food sides and their meatloaf and potatoes came out to $5-$7 per person based on family of 3-4. That’s better than almost any takeout and it’s all homemade quality. After speaking with the staff, many items will hold in the fridge for several days from when they are made and you can freeze other with ease. This is a great little find and I will definitely be back! Thank you for an exceptional experience!!!“

I got the horseradish on the side because some places can make it strong but it was decent. My husband got the Texan burger and I couldn’t pick which one was better, mine or his! ? seriously this place made me forget all about wanting breakfast!
