“Ny daughter and I were craving Italian. We stumbled on this place. When you pull up, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant. It’s in an old Victorian house. Walking up we are very disappointed to read that it was reservations only. As we were walking away, the hostess opened the door and invited us in and made room for us to eat. It was one of the best meals and service we have ever had!”

The food was absolutely stellar. The roasted brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had anywhere. Salmon and baked sweet potato were also both perfectly prepared, seasoned, and presented. Portions were very generous. I felt guilty leaving any of it on the plate!

Tea was fresh. (Needed a bit more ice)

Service was perfect and the environment was very comfortable.

My only criticism is that the silverware is too large and awkward to use, but this is a common issue in american chain restaurants.”

She is on of the rare few in town that take that dietary restriction into account and makes a point to always have a little something (most of the time many little somethings). If you are locking for a great local spot gluten free or not make a point to stop at Jamie's!”

“My sister, daughter and I stopped in this afternoon. I had the iced Irish Cream, my sister had the hot Captain Jack and my daughter had an iced Captain Jack. We bought half a dozen assorted macarons and split them. Everything was amazing and since we are all in college, we plan on studying there from time to time.”

The fajita quesadillas are incredible, with really tender slow roasted and marinated chicken in the chicken version, and delicious and juicy marinated shrimp in the shrimp version. The carnitas tacos are also AMAZING. Having tried Mexican cuisine everywhere from Houston, Texas to Cancun and Cozumel, I can confidently say this place is a shining example of authentic Mexican food.”

“My family and I dinner here on Friday, Aug 29. The service was amazing. I had mole, my son had civeche, my daughter in law had a torata, I ordered an order of supreme nachos for daughter to take home to her, and my granddaughter had beans and rice. We also shared the fried cheesecake. The food was really good. Prices are the same as any other restaurant. We will definitely eat there again. I was happy they serve mole because it is my favorite dish and most places do not serve it.”

However, I am a Veteran and on Veterans Day, they were one of the few restaurants in 2025 actually still offering a free meal in appreciation. Not an appetizer, not a 10% discount, not a special menu: an actual normal meal like everyone else gets. Good food too. They 100% deserve your business.”

“Our food was amazing. But..... Our delivery driver asked if I wanted to give him more money for a tip. I was dumbfounded. I already paid a $5 delivery fee and tipped the driver $2. That's $7 not including tax and the cost of our food. I do not want this driver to lose his job, because I wouldn't want anyone to lose their job. I did catch it on video camera. I blurred the video because I wouldn't ever post someone's identity on the internet. You can definitely hear the conversation and how dumbfounded I was. Just have your drivers not be so rude about tips.”

“First- we came at an odd time of day (like almost 3:15pm) food was hot and fresh. There was a younger boy working at the register and he was such a gem! Super friendly, respectful and kind. Checked on us several times and recommended things to us. He was really kind to my children as well. They have something called Texas twinkies and they were DELICIOUS! Jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese, shredded cheese, brisket and sauce. The swinder fries were hot and so yummy! Especially dipped in their Alabama white sauce. Fried chicken was hot and crispy! Mac and cheese was hot and extra cheesy! Noodles were a perfect Al dente. Kids menu was extremely affordable and so much food! If you haven’t been recently, you need give ride it a try again!!”

It usually has three or four different kinds of chicken like General Tsao’s chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, etc. plus a couple vegetarian dishes, as well as eggrolls, spring rolls, cream, cheese, wontons, and they often have some type of Indian tandoori chicken and of course fried rice and noodles. The buffet is only offered from around 11 AM until 2:30 PM but even if you come outside these hours, you can order any of their tasty items off the menu.”

“Pasta is always a safe bet here...you can’t go wrong with a plate of noodles and red sauce. The calzones and pizza are solid choices too, definitely worth trying. The only downside is the location. Even though the restaurant is separate from the convenience store, being attached to a gas station still gives it a bit of an odd vibe.”

Thanks to the entire staff in the bar, essential our server who appeared to be waiting on a lot of tables but was a pro & every customer looked very happy.
