“Ny daughter and I were craving Italian. We stumbled on this place. When you pull up, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant. It’s in an old Victorian house. Walking up we are very disappointed to read that it was reservations only. As we were walking away, the hostess opened the door and invited us in and made room for us to eat. It was one of the best meals and service we have ever had!”

However, we wish something could be changed. We LOVE the seafood boil, however my wife could not get a substitution. She loves snow crab, but not lobster or shrimp. They could not substitute for the crab instead of lobster/shrimp. If that could change, we would eat here every week. I LOVED my shrimp boil. Please consider allowing substitutions.”

The food was absolutely stellar. The roasted brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had anywhere. Salmon and baked sweet potato were also both perfectly prepared, seasoned, and presented. Portions were very generous. I felt guilty leaving any of it on the plate!

Tea was fresh. (Needed a bit more ice)

Service was perfect and the environment was very comfortable.

My only criticism is that the silverware is too large and awkward to use, but this is a common issue in american chain restaurants.”

Amazing pastries, Creme Brulee was astounding, cookies and cream wow. Banana Pudding..honestly I didn't know how they would do it..but MAN was it good.

I will be a repeat customer for life. You have some gift and God thank you for sharing it.

The fajita quesadillas are incredible, with really tender slow roasted and marinated chicken in the chicken version, and delicious and juicy marinated shrimp in the shrimp version. The carnitas tacos are also AMAZING. Having tried Mexican cuisine everywhere from Houston, Texas to Cancun and Cozumel, I can confidently say this place is a shining example of authentic Mexican food.”

“My husband and I ate here last night for the first time and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped in the door this place and the staff didn't disappoint. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The food was delicious, portions were good, I had the moose and my husband had the nine iron. We also had the pretzel and it was delicious, loved the beer cheese! I also recommend the pumpkin spice martini, it was a nice fall drink. We will definitely go back here soon!”

“First- we came at an odd time of day (like almost 3:15pm) food was hot and fresh. There was a younger boy working at the register and he was such a gem! Super friendly, respectful and kind. Checked on us several times and recommended things to us. He was really kind to my children as well. They have something called Texas twinkies and they were DELICIOUS! Jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese, shredded cheese, brisket and sauce. The swinder fries were hot and so yummy! Especially dipped in their Alabama white sauce. Fried chicken was hot and crispy! Mac and cheese was hot and extra cheesy! Noodles were a perfect Al dente. Kids menu was extremely affordable and so much food! If you haven’t been recently, you need give ride it a try again!!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Momma Rosa’s Italian Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality—the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel like family (the kind you want to visit).

I started with the meatball appetizer, and honestly? I could write poetry about those meatballs. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that made me want to lick the plate (don’t worry—I didn’t, but I thought about it).

Then came the calzone… and let me just say, it was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly baked crust, generous fillings, and that beautiful balance of cheese, sauce, and sheer joy. I’m still thinking about it.

The restaurant itself was spotless—clean and cozy without trying too hard. You can tell the folks here care about what they’re doing.

Tonight was no different, but I’d say it was the best service I’ve ever received there. I had been craving a great-tasting burger, and despite not being too keen on smashed burgers, I decided to try the cheddar burger with tots. The meal was excellent, but the service made it even better. Although the restaurant wasn’t very busy, I asked if it would be possible to have a little fire going, as that’s one of my favorite things about the place. My waitress, Emma, went and got her manager, Brandon, who kindly built a small fire for me. It’s the simple things that make a difference, and I was able to sit and enjoy the fire after finishing my meal. A big thank you to Emma, Brandon, and the cooks for an outstanding visit!”
