“These guys were packed on a Saturday night, of course. I had just gotten off the road after driving almost 500 miles, the last hundred miles in a serious windstorm. The Knob Creek Old-Fashioned was exactly what the doctor ordered. The 9 ounce fillet, which I had ordered medium well, came out medium or, more likely, medium rare. But after Brandi brought it back — along with some extra mashed potatoes by way of compensation for the error — it was delicious. Good salad, hot bread with honey butter. No complaints.“
“Nice date night evening. Service was good. Server tried hard. The dirty martini was less than dirty and wasn't served with olives. Fresh Oysters were very good as was the scallops and risotto and apple crisp. Unfortunately the worst part of the evening was the unbearably hard and uncomfortable metal chairs. They proved to be a distraction to all of the good that was offered.“
“Some of the best fried catfish, clams, shrimp and Alligator since the Louisiana state line. Everthing we ordered was cooked to perfection. The cajun Alfredo with shrimp and crawfish was great and the shrimp was not over cooked nor rubbery. Wait staff were friendly and prompt. Will becoming back. Prices average for the times.“
“My husband and I went to eat here and there food was delicious. The place could use some clean up as far as there decor . There blow fish near the ceiling are nasty and a few other items but other then that the food was fantastic and the service was great .“

“My boyfriend and I visited the other day an hour before closing. As soon as we walked in, the guy at the register was really friendly and gave us some recommendations. We ordered our pizza and they were ready pretty fast.This pizza was soooo good! They really did not lack on the ingredients and the dought was perfect. “I've been coming here for many years. I've never dined in because I don't like eating alone my husband doesn't like seafood I reckon it is a fairy nice place to eat kind of Nostalgic which is pretty cool.I can't rate any of the other food they serve I only get the Large Catch which consists of five very large catfish filets you better well be hungry to be able to eat all of them along with the sides I don't really care for I don't like their beans very bland don't like coleslaw hushpuppies are always hard and the French fries always old and cold but OMG the fish is awesome because I always tell the waitress to tell the chef how I want it fried and it's perfect everytime like I said I've been going there for over 15yrs to pick up my order it's always ready when they say it will be ready.I have ate other fish over time but it's Freddie's Fish and Grill family of the Fatcat keep me coming back!!“

“We had a party of 7 where most of us ordered different items. All of us really enjoyed our food. The garlic bread knots that came with the meal was light and buttery. I had the lasagna. It was very good and I was pleased with the serving size. Others got various versions of pasta and their plate sizes were huge. Some of the choices were veal Parmigiano, Vicky's special, Amarillo Special, and Linguini with shrimp. We took lots of to go boxes back with us.We all got desserts. The chocolate mouse cake was very rich and wonderful. The turtle cheesecake was a huge hit with the others. The Italian cream cake looked fabulous.“
“Crab legs are my favorite food. I have eaten them at many places across many states. This place is by far my favorite. I have had much more expensive crab that wasn't this good. My grandparents lived in Louisiana and I have had some cajun food from true cajun places, and they don't compare. The waitress, it seems like she is always there, is kind and gives top notch service. I wish this place stayed busier for business sakes for them. We have never waited for a table. And, my child loves eating here.Kid-friendliness: This is my 8 year old child's favorite place to eat. They are very kind to my children amd accommodate without request. The waitress even showed my little one the "secrets" to getting all the meat out of the crab.“

“UPDATE 2024: Food is still great! The ambience has softened to a well loved cajun road side restaurant. And they changed the chairs... and they are great for wide loads! ?2020: Loved the food! They bring out a taster sample of each of the signature dishes... but... their chairs are not fat girl friendly and the ambience is a little harsh, like we expected lower lighting and it felt like Walmart instead. Great waitress!“
“Amazing serving sizes and awesome flavor! Ordered calamari for appetizer - highly recommend that serving as it is light and tasty without being too greasy!!! We moved on to order a pound of crawfish and a "cast" combo of crab legs, shrimp, sausage and scallops....can't forget a potato and a small cob of corn!! Our server was super busy as he was the only wait staff on duty, but he still provided an amazing amount of service and attention thru the meal.....we were mildly surprised at the whole experience and will return again when we crave seafood in the middle of the Texas Panhandle!!“
“My waitress was kind, filled my unsweetened iced tea five times, best iced tea in town by the way. Ate the tacos barbacoa first rate portion wasn't overly generous but then aye didn't leave hungry. Worth a second visit, really, they left no room for complaint.“

“Aspen and Kaelee were our bartenders and to say they are the best, is an understatement. I am sooooo picky with my old fashions and they nailed it with flavor. My husbands beers were super cold!The food was also AMAZING!! We had the Cali wrap, gumbo, red beans and rice and hush puppies, and everything was spot on.“
