“Although the food here is good and we like it, we were shocked on our last visit overhearing two veterans talking behind us, and truly enjoying a very deep and intimate conversation about their service…when the owner of this restaurant came to their table and said that they’d been there long enough and they needed to leave to make room for their lunch crowd! Wow…. It made us think twice about returning. We support our vets ????“
“Incredible food and service. We were greeted promptly, menu was impressive, and the food was outstanding. The owner, Chris Lee, made it a point to stop by and introduce himself. The crab cakes were some of the best I have every had and the chocolate mousse is the stuff dreams are made of. We will certainly be back!“
“Note this is now a bakery! I’ve attached pictures of what they had available when I stopped by. They also have egg salad and chicken salad and a special of the day. I’ve been pleased with everything! Definitely try the cruffin if you’ve never had one!“
“We ordered the ceviche, which was underwhelming. There was barely enough avocado on the side for one person. I ordered the fried oysters with a side of onion rings. Both were very good. My sister had the Shrimp Lover’s platter, and she Loved the coconut shrimp. The fried was fine, but the grilled shrimp was not as good as other places on the island. But the sauces were Delicious! Expect to play at least $25+ per person“
“Our family enjoyed a fantastic meal at Trout this week. We had 11 and were seated quickly and our server Julie was amazing. She took care of everyone’s order perfectly and offered up suggestions when asked. Great experience - definitely recommend!“
“CM Lanes is probably my favorite place in Aransas Pass. Their food is top-notch, especially their pizza and the burger with the egg on it. They have probably the best Bloody Mary around. If I could make any recommendations, it would be to add more beer taps and a few more craft beer options. With Hook and Ladder gone, AP has a craft beer void. I would love it if CM Lanes were the ones to take advantage of that.“
