“I love the food here most of the time. Matter of fact I would eat here every time I go fishing if it was not for the weekend brunch menu. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is how they handle their brunch. Is their brunch menu on the weekend is over priced and the food is average at best. I will spend just as much at breakfast as I do on lunch or dinner but unlike there other meals the food for brunch is bland and the portions small. During their brunch times they do not offer there normal menu. Because of this I will only eat at this location when they are offering their normal items. Now, their normal menu is out of this world. I have tried almost everything, and it is all good. My favorites are the Seared Tuna, Island Boy Burger (sounds weird but try it, it will not disappoint), and the Shrimp Etouffee. Also, you have to try the Anchor Balls. They also have a nice selection of beer. I just wish they would have a standard Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner hours and menus.“

“Aeriana provided excellent service and recommendations. I had the mushroom and black truffle ravioli pesto- the best ravioli I have EVER had. You must try the crème brulee - a light and refreshing dessert. The caramelized sugar with raspberries provided the perfect balance. Atmosphere was great, sat outside overlooking the water and were even able to have our little dog with us. If we ever go to this area again we will definitely stop in.“

“Legit burgers, as good if not the best I've had in the Rockport area. 4 stars is a very good rating from me, considering the friendly folks and the excellent service, I'd say they deserve 4+. I reserve that 5th star for when I'm blown away and there's many places I've not yet tried. That said, I will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu. I'd recommend Mobil Eats to anyone.“

“I’m a local and love coming here. It’s a funky little cross between a food truck and a restaurant. Order outside, exact inside the old house, or on the patio.The burgers and all the food is amazing! I’ve never had anything that wasn’t fresh and full of flavor. Staff is committed and always make you feel welcome and appreciated.Stop by and grab the best burger in the coastal bend. “Best donuts in town! We have come here several times while wintering in Rockport. We love it! The service is Great! The donuts are light and fluffy and melt in your mouth.We are definitely going to miss this place when we leave! We wanted to get the word out that this is the place to go! “We’re from out of town I always ask a local where to eat, let me tell you, this place is legit, college dive bar meets good food low prices and excellent bar staff, an absolute gem, little rough around the edges but the kitchen looked clean, (you can see it when you check out) bartender was spot on but tired of people’s shenanigans( look you stood in line for 10min you should’ve known what you want when you get up to order) but my man busts three drinks out at lightning speed, I head back to the table with the strongest tastiest Painkiller I’ve had since Miami, 7 minutes later a great little server pops out with our food looking fresh homemade and scrumdiddlyumptious, which it was we sat and talked for a few hours, we’ll be back for sure“

“Went with friends visiting from Missouri while out exploring. It was not very busy, the weather was beautiful and we sat outside. The menu had some awesome looking offerings but we were not looking for a large meal. 3 of us had the Lobster Bisque and the other had the Truffle fries! The Bisque was fabulous! The fries were very good too but the soup was amazing!Our server was attentive and funny while being very professional. I wish I could remember her name to give her props because she was great!As a Winter Texan, we will be leaving soon but hope to get back to Tortuga’s before we leave to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend!“

“This place is a great place to escape. It’s relaxing, the staff is friendly, the bbq always taste on point, the buckets of beer are reasonably priced. If you can catch them on a Friday or Saturday your in for a treat of some live local music. Great place for families or friends to gather for lunch and a drink. Love that it’s located right on the La Quinta ship channel, you get to see some huge ships go by and it’s beautiful. Now let’s get to that sunset, breath taking. Now better place in town to sit and watch the sunset.Parking: Easy pull right up and parkKid-friendliness: They do host a movie night sometimes during the summer, very family oriented place.“

“We visited this cute coffee house several times on our vacation to Rockport! The staff was very polite and they all created great lattes. The owners (we think) were also there one day and they were super nice. One of them even recognized us later in the day when we were shopping in the Heritage District. I highly recommend visiting this relaxing coffee shop when in Rockport!“

“Harlee was my server, and did a fantastic job. Very attentive and the place was standing room only. Tables were bussed quickly, and people were seated quickly. The food was absolutely perfect. I built my own omelet, pepper jack cheese, chorizo, green pepper, onion, and a hand full of Jalapeño. The hash browns were burned up crispy as requested with a side of buttered toast. My compliments to the cook, couldn't have done it better myself. Very reasonable, excellent variety on the menu. Keep up the great work, and loved the homey "Mom and Pop" atmosphere.“

“This small dive bar is popular with locals and visitors as well. Live music, darts, indoor and outdoor seating. Love the pizza and an ice-cold bottle of Shiner Bock. The meatball sub looked amazing, I'll have to try it next time.The Gaff was our pick to visit this Thursday for Bike Night with The Outsiders Bike-Family and is always a good time.“

“Jeff the bartender made me wait out back in the staff area when I asked for a beer. I obliged because I was thirsty. He then asked if I was comfortable dressing up like Mr. Rogers, I obliged because I was thirsty. He then brought me my beer and told me to clean myself up and look presentable to the regulars, he was so kind and made me feel welcome that I welcomed everyone to the neighborhood,and I just hope this becomes one of his shirts.Parking: Good parking.“

“Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The food is amazing - everything on the menu is homemade from the Caesar dressing to the sauces and pizza doughs. The service is impeccable. “Typical bar in Rockport. a DJ was playing known music. The service at the bar was efficient and the prices were very good. We didn't have any food. They have pool tables in the second room, which is a large space. There appeared to be a lot of locals here.“

Every bit of me feels like a kid again when I can just enjoy something so deliciously yummy!“

“Our friends made reservations about a week in advance so we were seated immediately. I believe it's the best plan since the restaurant was pretty full.The service was very good, our drinks were monitored often. Our orders were prepared very well and in a timely manner. Several of us ordered the soup option with our entree, we all commented that it was a good choice.I ordered the lasagna, it's a personal favorite and I'm very choosy, this one certainly met my expectations. The spaghetti and meatballs was also a table favorite. The portions were generous as we all had to go boxes. I recommend this restaurant and, other than it's suggested to make reservations, I would likely go back.“

“Visiting from out of town. Wanted to sit and enjoy the water. Check! We had already expected to order at a counter, which was no problem. The gentleman at the register was very nice and helpful. Fried shrimp was lightly battered, very nice! The Port a shrimp bowl was delicious and filling. The view is very pleasant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Same gentleman that was at the register cleared our empty plates as soon as we finished. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our food, it was hot and fresh I'm not sure why others wouldn't rate it a 5 star. The 3 ladies sitting next to us were also raving about their food. Good job Grumbles! “We did have a large crew late last night needing dinner. Headed to Marker 12 where it was mention that kitchen just closed but owner Jayce was so nice and open back up for us. All the food was AMAZING: Fried fish and shrimp, Mega Chicken wings and wonderful Micheladas. Staff was awesome.“

“I've been there twice, before going to the Community Theater. The food was great, prices are great, it's just pub grub, but great. Both times I sat at the bar, the bartender was great both times, very knowledgeable and super friendly. I can't remember her name, but both times , I was there about 5.30 in the afternoon. I recommend this place if you are looking for pub grub and a great selection of beers. I do have a few more events for this year at the community theater, I will be going back to this restaurant. It was not super busy when we went but there seems to be lots of regulars, great indication.“

“Order the special and then told they were out. Ordered the same fish (not blackened) fried. My husband was far from impressed. I ordered the crab cake. It was so spicy that I couldn't eat it and neither could. my husband. We always look forward to getting the calamari and this time it was tough and chewy. So not so pleasant this time. I was very disappointed.“

“We sat outside and didn’t wait long for our waitress who was very friendly with a great attitude. She was helpful and attentive. My husband and I both had the Mahi Mahi his with rice pilaf and mine with the asparagus. Both were excellent. I enjoyed sitting outside while the sun started to set. A definite must do again!“
