“I try something new every time and am never disappointed. Cozy, friendly, delicious, great drinks, and overall a very fun atmosphere. Service is welcoming and on point. Love this place for weekday lunch/brunch outings with 1-3 people.Parking: Nearby Parking available during non-peak hours, but you may have to round the next street to street park for free/paid. A norm for Austin.“
“Fantastic service, staff and unique brunch selections. Our server Akiya was a superstar! She was so friendly and had great suggestions. We had the chicken biscuit and it was delicious! The staff are a well oiled machine and had a great experience. Highly recommend!“
“Our server, Shay, was amazing! Very friendly, asked us questions to see what we liked. Always came and checked on us if we needed anything. She was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting or even live here! Thank you for such a great experience! I recommend the Apple fritter French toast and the bacon!“
“I was on my way out of Austin when I had just the right amount of time to indulge on a breakfast. Boy was my belly happy to leave Texas with this as my last meal. I ordered the fried chicken with the biscuit and the biscuit was so perfectly done. The chicken crispy (and felt like more skin than meat but as a whole it was still good) and although it didn't come with it, I dipped mine in the hot sauce that the empeñada came with and it was delicious. The empeñada was yummy and the deep fried hash brown muffin concoction is pretty epic. Our server was 10/10 loved her energy and recommendations. She was all the things we need in the service industry and grateful we had her! All in all, if I'm back in Austin, I'd definitely make a pit stop here again!“
“Really friendly service and very knowledgeable about celiac/what is required to avoid cross contamination.Really great breakfast/brunch spot. The corned beef skillet and the spuds deluxe are to die for.Very loud place.Great spot for celiacs.“
“Good snacks (after the kitchen was mostly closed) great drinks and very friendly and professional staff. Plus, KBC is the spot for cool bands in North Central Austin. Ernie the sound engineer is a boss, too, so the bands sound great in there.Parking: Safe-looking, abundant parking.Kid-friendliness: All ages/kid friendly (bring earplugs)“
“Great brunch menu! My husband and I have been looking for more brunch places that will allow our puppy to join us and stumbled upon this gem. The service (and other guests) were so nice to and patient with our dog! The food was amazing (we got a Pulled Pork Benny, a Nitro Horchata, and a Chorizo Hash), appropriately priced, and was served very quickly. There were so many interesting choices on the menu that we are planning to go back asap to try other dishes We didn't get to see the inside of the diner due to our dog, but the covered patio had multiple tables for about four to five people each which were very comfortable.“
“Menu has interesting twists on the traditional bennys, tacos, burritos, pancakes, and scrambles. Many gluten free and other options. Had the pancake flight - pineapple upside down, blueberry danish, and sweet potato pancakes (gluten free). These were the best, fluffiest pancakes I have ever had. Large portions, wonderful flavor combos. My friends had the pork belly fried rice, marscapone-filled French toast, and breakfast scramble. Phenomenal. This place is also LGBTQ friendly, and servers were lovely and helpful. The fifties diner decor was upbeat, modern, and clean. A great experience!!“
“Solid spot! It's cute and clean with lowish lighting to provide a relaxed atmosphere. We got in around 6 and soon after the tables started filling up. The staff all uses sign language, but I did have one woman who was able to take my order while a friend used the kiosk. She was super friendly and helpful even though I know basically zero sign language. I knocked off a star solely because they have vegan batter available, but absolutely none of the items are automatically vegan by switching batter. Ordered a couple of savory crepes without cheese and they're just ok. You can skip the Southwest one if you're vegan. Definitely needed something saucy added. However, the peanut butter heaven without honey is a delicious vegan option. I'd split a sweet one if you've already had a savory one, the portions are hefty.“
“4.5 My husband and I decided to try Bread & Co. for breakfast this morning. It was a nice place to try. We walked in and saw the menu and decided what we wanted. We went to the counter and placed our order and paid. The woman taking our order and working the register was friendly. She gave us a number to put on our table. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and chose to sit outside since the weather was so nice. My breakfast choice was the Croque Oui Oui which is a breakfast sandwich made with brioche bread and has prosciutto cotto, melty raclette cheese, and caramelized onions. It's topped with a sunny side up egg. It comes with a Mornay sauce but I asked for that on the side. I also ordered a side of bacon and some pancakes to share with my husband. My husband ordered the Spread Breakfast which is two eggs your way, (he chose scrambled) toasted sourdough, jam, mixed fruit, and a choice of house breakfast sausage, bacon, or griddled house pork terrine (he chose bacon). My breakfast was really good. I enjoyed the flavors of the prosciutto and caramelized onions. The sunny side up egg is what gave the sandwich a breakfast feel. The bacon was full of flavor and the slices were big. It wasn't as crispy as I like but it was good. The pancakes were okay. They were dense and heavy and a little undercooked but tasted good with syrup. My husband also enjoyed his meal. It was a nice place to stop by and try on a nice day.“
“Daily go to spot for the best food and literally anything else you need in such a small space. I don’t know how they do it but the food is immaculate and consistent. I personally know most the staff and it’s definitely a family like atmosphere here.Vegetarian options: Lots of emParking: Always just the right amount of open spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yup it’s there“
“This breakfast spot is enjoyable, although the hot cakes seemed to have been mixed for too long, resulting in a flatter texture. However, they still tasted great. I particularly enjoyed the huevos rancheros; while the tortillas didn't seem homemade, they were served soft and warm. The black beans were excellent, and the breakfast potatoes had a nice crispy texture. The green sauce had a kick to it, while the red sauce was chunky and flavorful. My brother loved his veggie omelet, and my nephews couldn't get enough of their chocolate chip pancakes. Overall, the menu items provided good value for money.“
“This is a new brunch must for my husband and I! I recently became gluten free and had the BEST GF pancakes I’ve had yet. They also can make almost any menu item GF. My mother in law is also Vegan and said her pancakes were also incredible. The service was great. The vibe was awesome. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.Do yourself a favor and GET THE BACON ?“
“By far the cheapest big breakfast in downtown. $7 for a complete meal. That's crazy for Austin. On top of this, they have the friendliest staff and have extremely good customer service that gets you your meal in 5 minutes. I don't know how more people aren't going to this gem!“
“I was dying for a cup of coffee and stopped here as it was much closer to anything else from where I was staying. I received the most delicious, comforting cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time. The girl helping me was so sweet and whipped a breakfast plate that rivals east coast diners. I’ll be back!!“
“We keep going back, but many times, we have no idea how our experience will be. Whether we tell the waiter or cashier the the eggs, etc were cold, no one seems to care. Service is up and down, as well. Some staff members are so nice and friendly, while others have no idea how tips work.“
“Came to Austin for vacation, ended up eating here 3 mornings in a row. Absolutely fantastic food, very unique options, and great service. There is a constant rotation of new items, tried the special, the smoked blackberry jam chicken biscuit the first day (which was by far one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten), a smoked onion and jalapeño cheddar bagel with bacon egg and cheese add chipotle queso the second day. and the third day had his new special which was a shishito pepper honey butter chicken biscuit and my gosh what a creation. Brooklyn breakfast shop definitely can throw down, would recommend to any out of towners looking for breakfast or maybe even your new spot for locals. The food truck is a food truck park and has amazing atmosphere and vibes with many other great businesses within a stones throw“
“After living on the East side for 5 years while attending HT, we returned this past weekend for Homecoming! One of our events was hosted at this lovely location. The service was outstanding the waitress really made sure we had our bottomless mimosas filled throughout our time there. The food was so delicious and fresh! The atmosphere of the location was just right and the decor was amazing. We were also able to stand outside where there were tables and of course the views! One of the mangers was expressing to us that Victory was the location for all the black artist to come perform when 6th street (downtown) was still segregated. This is a historic landmark for the black East Side of ATX and happy to of been able to feel the culture! We will soon return!“
“Awesome biscuits and gravy! They offer vegan options as well. Cool spot, seating in front. Recommend if you're in the area. The guy very knowledgeable about local spots for food and cocktails as well, gave some good recommendations! Will be back!“
“This place was a wonderful surprise! Only reason for the four stars instead of five was the server for my section was in the weeds and so someone else had to help. The breakfast sandwich I had was phenomenal, the coffee was nice and hot and the breakfast potatoes were outstanding. Hopefully the owners are thinking about opening one in the four points area. ?“
“What a fun surprising place found sub-main level of an office building. I had the beef tacos with rice and beans, so tasty. My wife had the enchiladas and she loved them. This is a great spot to stop in for a breakfast or lunch if you find yourself downtown Austin.“
“I didn't get to rate my order because there was an issue with the order , I assumed on the drivers part? anyways .This needs to be said! these guys do there job!! delicious every time!!! Good job guys this that shit, every time... that's hard... you could just not care... but nope. thank you“
“We were initially kind of taken back at the service. But then the waitress warned up. Wait for the food was long, but the sandwiches were delicious. Perfect in fact. Never had this good sandwich.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options. They had 2 choices. But they were delicious. Hope they add more options.“
“My husband and I had almost given up on Waffle House but were pleasantly suprised by the vibe, cleanliness and amazing customer service at THIS specific waffle house in Austin. Our serve Tae was amazing! Friendly, kind, acted like she liked her job and the customer service she showed to every patron she helped was a breath of fresh air. So many of us get on here just to be express the negatives so I thought I'd write a review expressing how much we enjoyed this location!“
“Great atmosphere. Interesting selection of Asian, Italian and sushi entrees. The portions are large. No side salad offerings. Cesar salad was enough for 4 people to share. The cannoli's are the way to go for dessert. Great service. Nice and quiet.“
“Best breakfast tacos in Austin right here. The Kolaches were also top notch. The woman who runs this place is a very sweet person and truly cares about the community. I highly recommend Lone Star Kolaches. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would “
“I hate speaking negatively about small businesses, but I’m frustrated with the reoccurrence of an issue with this place. They have an option on their menu to choose how you’d like your egg cooked. “Over Hard” is not a complicated thing, it means an egg is fried and cooked ALL the way through. It’s now been 4x for my deliveries that they’ve not cooked the egg all the way through and it’s runny. I shouldn’t have to choose the scrambled option just to get a thoroughly cooked egg because I can’t trust them to do an over-hard egg, when that’s the one I prefer. I will most likely either do that because I do enjoy the food and supporting of small businesses but I will also consider going elsewhere for breakfast for an over hard egg + bagel sandwich. Please consider my feedback and ensure customer egg requests are honored.“
“What a great place to eat - classic-style American diner in the best tradition of that wonderful art-form.Warm welcome, friendly and efficient service, excellent food, great coffee - this time I enjoyed my hash-browns (smothered, diced and capped) so much I ordered the same again! It was a treat to fit in a visit just before getting to the airport for my journey back to England. I squeezed in a slice of the best of the US before flying home.Restrooms spotless too, of course. And souvenir mugs! I still have the one I bought from my 2017 eclipse visit. When I make it back to the USA, I'll be checking out where the nearest Waffle House is to my destination. Or maybe I'll just find the motel nearest to the Waffle House!“
“What a no nonsense, good place to eat. I came in wanting something warm as a contrast to the crazy cold weather outside and ordered the BBQ kolache & the Texas Kolache. Both were delicious. As someone who has just been introduced to kolaches not that long ago I absolutely loved these. They both were warm, delicious, & were filling. Very quick and easy to order from the counter. Loved this place!“
“Jamya was our server, and she was truly AMAZING. Seldomly do you go somewhere where the waitress is so positive, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu, but she knocked it out of the park. Great food, great atmosphere, but the BEST server!“
