“This is a fantastic spot for tacos in Downtown Houston. The al pastor and chicken tacos were so good that I returned a second time to get tacos to take home with me to Maryland. “Best burger I have ever had. First off they are huge but they make them WIDER instead of TALLER so you can enjoy eating a monster size burger without a massive mess. Everything they sell tastes amazing. The price at first seems high but the food you get feels like more than what they charge. If you order any add ons like jalapeños or mushrooms they give you such a generous amount it’s almost too much and that shows they care. I will only eat here for burgers from now on.“

“First time customer. Food is delicious! I ordered the Triple J Special (Brisket, Ribs, Sausage) w/ potato salad and green beans. I enjoyed every bite. The homemade koolaids are good as well but extremely sweet. One koolaid can be diluted w/ water and made into two. Now here’s why I didn’t give 5 stars across the board; the cashier set up. While there was a line, it’s expected as it was a Saturday. We waited about 1.5 hours. The inside of the building, where the line is formed is very narrow, “sharp shooter” style. The cooks/line staff are making the plates in a timely fashion, it’s the cashier or check out process that slows things down. There’s a MAJOR need for another check out system. Maybe a portable square terminal or some other portable card reader. I attached a picture for reference. This would help A LOT! especially since most customers are using cards, tap pay, etc. However this is just my opinion. I’m not promoting square pay nor am I affiliated with them in any kind of way. Will I come back? Yes. On a Saturday? No! It will have to be one day during the week where I can maximize my time and fully enjoy the experience.“

The Whiskey Burger and Marvin Zingler Burger were both delicious and packed with flavor. I personally liked the Marvin Zingler better, because I find the Whiskey Burger was a tad sweeter than I liked with their blueberry compote and candied bacon. The Cheese Fries Surprise appetizer was a fun twist on a classic dish and was a hit at our table. The portion is huge so be prepared to share.However, the service was a tad bit lacking. We weren't served napkins with our burgers, and it was difficult to flag someone down when we needed something. “I just annihilated my burger and fries from Lee’s Burger joint. The burger reminded me of the real burgers I use to eat back in The 90s and not these frozen so called meat patties they serve us at the fast food restaurant chains. If I knew the burger was going to be that good I would have took a picture to upload but I was too busy enjoying my food and trying not to bite my fingers in the process.
