The food was good as expected.Kid-friendliness: My great great grandson broke his drink cup. He is nine, he went. to a staff person explained what had happened. “Was in Houston for a few days and so glad I found this place! They curate their coffee beans from all over the world and have an extensive range of coffee/tea drinks to choose from. The espresso I had both days was extremely balanced and very smooth so I imagine their espresso based drinks are excellent. They had a very robust pour over selection as well I will certainly be trying next time. There was a wide range of pastry and food offerings that spanned a variety of options from sweet or savory toasts, to burritos and even an interesting Australian sausage roll. The menu had a ton of things I would have loved to try without being overly complex or excessive. I went for the avocado toast which was executed very well! Finally the atmosphere rounded out my fantastic experience. It felt contemporary and cozy without being stuffy a place Im sure many people hang out to work or chat. Huge windows let in plenty of light at all times of the day.No need to go anywhere else when you’re in Houston and in need a unique coffee experience or need a quick bit to eat!“

“I have an extensive list of coffee shops on my "must try" and Oso has definitely been on my list. I got up early this morning and decided to swing by for a coffee with a friend. The location is very small but extremely inviting. The inside can sit maybe 10-15 people and there is some outdoor seating available. I could see this place getting packed pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. While we already had breakfast prior to arriving we were pleasantly surprised they offered a breakfast menu. We both had the horchata latte and a concha. We really enjoyed the horchata latte was really good, super excited to try more drinks! This might be my new regular!“

“The best coffee in Downtown. I am here so so often. Call me a regular. I walk to here. I live on their great coffee (Mayan, cafe Ole..) and their bean tamale with plantain chips. Their Mexican cups are so cool and the place is comfy. Shawn who works there is great, single and sexy. ??“

“This is legit the best vegan bakery I have ever been to in my life. Every single thing they make is uniquely designed and delicious- more tasty than any vegan pastries I have ever had. It doesn’t even matter what flavor it is or type of pastry, everything tastes amazing. If I had thousands of dollars to donate to something, it would be this place.“

“We came here for breakfast. The cashier and food server were very friendly and polite. The busser was also very nice. The food was delicious. However, as we were finishing up I wanted to refill my coffee right as the restaurant experienced a big rush. There was only one coffee urn for the “bottomless cup” and it was being refilled. I waited several minutes for it to fill as a coffee line formed behind me. In college I worked in the service industry and know how to put the spout back into a coffee urn so I asked a busser if I could. He said he’d go get the manager to help. I didn’t want to wait even longer and the restaurant was packed, so I put it back together myself. I should have just waited, I know. As I did that the manager came out and I nicely and politely told her that I’d already put it back together. I guess she didn’t listen or didn’t hear me because she told me to sharply to give her a second and she’d give us more coffee. I told her, again nicely and politely, that it’s already full. She turned around and literally gave me a look like she wanted to kill me. The lady next to us was surprised too. Through gritted teeth she said, “Like I said, let me get my bearings and we will get you more coffee” in a seething voice. I was a little shaken. She was so incredibly rude. I understand that I should have just waited, but there should have been several coffee urns available and we’d already waited. I’ve been busy and flustered before and I worked in the service industry in college. Even when busy and annoyed, I never spoke to a customer rudely, much less with pure vitriol in my voice and expression. I can’t imagine how she treats the employees. All the other employees were nice and the food was good so that’s why they get four stars. If it weren’t for that run in with the manager over poorly stocked bottomless coffee on a Saturday morning then I would have given five.“

“Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop in Houston. All of the baristas are literally so sweet and care so much about you having a perfect experience. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and we were easily able to find a seat—which I’ve never experienced at any other Houston coffee shop but they literally have so much space and seating it’s lovely. I had both the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Nutella Crepe and both were phenomenal. Will absolutely be returning.“

“Love this place so far. I've only been a few times but hoping to make it a regular spot. It does get pretty crowded though, especially for Magic events, but they have a calendar that kinda helps you avoid the bigger events. A bit cramped but only because they try to maximize the tables available and very very friendly/accepting.Parking: Their parking area is very limited and people tend to just find spots on the side streets. The area is getting... revamped, so hopefully the street parking stays free or they're able to buy more space.“

“The food smell great, my friend gave it a 8 and I'd have to go 7 1/2 its was a Lil too salty for me. We got Jerk chicken, sweet potatoes & cabbage. Everything came with it'd on juice, which was surprising. And the bay leafys was too much in cabbage had a time picking those out. The jerk sauce was off & the chicken was a Lil too brunt. But the ideal of different Jamaican style dishes is there.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Tout Suite last weekend and was served by Victoria, whose service was truly outstanding. From the moment we were seated, Victoria made us feel welcome with her warm smile and attentive manner. She had an excellent grasp of the menu and provided insightful recommendations based on our preferences.Victoria was very knowledgeable about the cafe's offerings and her passion for customer service shone through.Despite the busy atmosphere, she ensured our orders were perfectly timed and that we never felt neglected. She checked in with us regularly without being intrusive, and her friendly conversation added a personal touch that set our experience apart from other cafes. It's rare to find someone who not only excels in their role but also genuinely enhances the dining experience through their charisma and dedication. We will definitely return, not just for the excellent food and coffee, but to enjoy the superb service that Victoria provides. “Cam’t wait to come back!! This truly is a hidden gem, and a welcome respite from the fast food places around the area. Food was delicious and fresh. The desserts were *chefs kiss*. Loved the fact that the drinks weren’t overly sweet. We had the Chicken Banh Mi, Pork Banh Mi, spring roll, the Pink Lady Lemonade and the Detox Mint Green Tea. The owner said the desserts were seasonal, but if you get a chance try the coconut mini cake (white) pr the banana/sesame (yellow) one.“

“For my healthy plant-based humans! Ohhhh the best sweet potato fries are here. “This place is located in a shady area and we were a bit skeptical going in but it’s so nice inside. Looks like a converted warehouse. We ordered vanilla latte on the recommendation of the cashier and it was delicious. I had the classic with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and sourdough toast. The eggs were creamy and lightly seasoned the presentation was neat and clean. My husband had the croissant with eggs and that was delicious too. We also got almond croissant and crème brûlée cheese cake. Everything was delicious and the bill was around $45. Which I thought was very reasonable. Loved it, recommend it and would love to come back.“

“When we arrived with a party of 3 we were told there would be a 20 minute wait because there were a lot of people ahead of us. Fair enough. However, from the door I counted 8 empty booths and at least one large round table. It seemed they were seating in order of arrival, because we weren't seated until after a party of 5 or 6, who.also had to wait despite a large table sitting empty, was seated. We did get an apology for the wait, and we were seated in one of the empty booths I mentioned earlier. The food was fair to great. We started with an appetizer of fried pickles. They had a nice salty/sour taste and the batter had good adhesion to the pickles. The Reuben Melt with potato chips was great, and the pastrami has a fantastic smokey favor. We took an extra one to go.The Chocolate Chip Pancakes were good. The pancakes themselves were fluffy but not overly sweet, balancing the chocolate syrup and chips well. The chicken and waffles were disappointing. The waffle was fine, but the chicken was ordinary chicken tenders with no noticable seasoning. Not the southern fried flavor one would expect. The decor in the restaurant was nice, but there was an unpleasant odor. It might have originated from outside, or from the spill in the kitchen we noticed every time the door opened that remained for the duration of our visit.Once we were seated, the waitress was cheerful, friendly, and attentive. We suspect that they may have been short staffed during our visit. If so, I'd recommend seating guests as soon as possible so they can at least get drinks. People tend to be more patient when seated.“

“I love their cold brew, usually there is a good seasonal flavor on, and their pre made sandwiches are great and inexpensive for a quick lunch on the go option. No indoor seating, and the dog friendly patio way too often means everyone brings their dogs who spend all morning barking at the other dogs (or maybe I am unlucky with when I go!), so I love to get my cold brew and take a walk on the super pretty tree lined Bayland on weekend mornings!“

“Everything about this place is amazing, with one exception. I’ve tried the mango tea, taro tea, lychee valentine and matcha crepe and they were all perfect. I get my teas less sweet. However, a constructive complaint that I really think the owners need to implement is that the place is not kid friendly. There’s no high chairs here and the white display case at the front has a low hanging pointy corner which my toddler son hit his head on. This place should really baby proof that corner because it’s very pointy and unsafe for kids. There’s also enough space in the very neat and clean bathroom for a baby changing station, but alas there is none. That corner in the front should be a priority however. Staff is also very friendly and the decorations are cute and it is very clean.“

“Today was our 1st visit and we will be back! I was in search of another local coffee shop for me and my oldest child (11) to get a change of scenery for her homeschool time, and my remote job. We live in Friendswood, this was an easy 20 minute drive. Very nice, quaint location in the heart of Pasadena; generous portion sizes on the food offerings. We both had an iced latte and she enjoyed the chocolate chip banana nut muffin - she was impressed it was fresh pieces of banana. The chorizo breakfast taco was so flavorful and well seasoned, we ended up purchasing a 2nd one. The two baristas on staff were kind and helpful and treated my daughter like an adult customer - engaging with her and calling her ma’am. She even wanted to thank them personally before we left for their great customer service. We visited for nearly 2 hours and it was a lovely escape. I know where to go now when we need another midweek change of pace.“

“I drive for metrolift and am all over the city. I try a variety of coffee shops for 2 years now. I didn't get the full experience as it was 1 hour before closing, but this abuelita hot chocolate (I added a shot of espresso) was the most satisfying beverage I've gotten from a coffee shop. I also got a chocolate chip cookie and it was just right. I hope my route brings me past this place more often.“

“This restaurant has become a new favorite for me and if you’re reading this review, stop reading now and GO! If you’re still here, let me just say that the chef, Keisha, is fantastic! She is so lovely and already knows my preferences after only a few visits. Every single thing I’ve had has been the best meal I’ve had - until the next time, lol. The DOUBLES are soo flavorful, I love the vegan breakfast sando - the eggs are seasoned to perfection, the house salad with jerk chicken is sending me into a salad craze, and the lo mein is so satisfying. I was drawn by the vegan options and the all day breakfast menu, on which you can really fill up! I’m slowly making my way through the menu but it’s hard because I could eat any one option, repeatedly, and be satisfied. The atmosphere is very welcoming, their customer service is amazing, 10/10, music is a vibe! Do yourself a favor and go now!Vegetarian options: The menu highlights the vegetarian options so it’s clear what is available throughout the menu. Regarding the vegetarian & vegan options available at this restaurant, you could close your eyes and pick any one of them and you will be sure to have the tastiest meal. Seasoned to perfection and made with love, you can taste it in each bite!“

“Literally better tasting coffee than starbucks. The iced caramel latte with oatmilk is my fav. The matcha frappe is phenomenal as well and the iced chai with almond milk??? Yes yes yes and cheaper than starbucks. Haven't tried the pastries or desserts but they look so good. Even when the line is long and reaches the back door, we still get to the cashier fairly quickly. The coffee has a bit of a wait time if it's crazy busy but be patient! It's worth the wait. I've only waited long once out of all the times I went, can't blame them though. It was packed!“
“I've been here for brunch twice. The first time with a party of 11, and the second time with just four people. I like the place because they can host a large group. The food is just okay. It's bar food. Nothing fancy. I had a wrap. The drinks are pretty good though! Strong too! I originally chose this place to accommodate my large group, and would do so again for the same reason. For a smaller party I'd probably try another place.“

There is only one problem lately I've noticed that everyone is just standing or sitting in the back of the counter when it's slow and the tables are sticky they condiment containers are so filthy they need to clean more properly. “This is the third time I have dined with you. Except for the first time when we at on the covered porch, the noise level has been excessive. When we came for lunch on Saturday, the music being piped into the restaurant was so loud that several tables of diners asked for it to be turned down.
