“Food was great, just as expected from a highly rated BBQ/Hotpot restaurant. Wait time was totally unreasonable, had waitlisted ourselves 2 hours in advance and arrived around 6:30pm (5pm I waitlisted us on yelp for a spot and as per the app our table should have been ready between 7-7:30) but we had to wait an additional 50 minutes until we were able to sit at 8:20 because they over booked. We were a group of 6 who drove all the way from Brownsville to celebrate my BDay only to be delayed a great amount of time without any proper update as to how much longer the wait could be. There were a few more people who also complained so we weren't the only ones. So my 2 cents is that weekend dinner service is crazy busy and KPot needs to step up there game and really need to make some adjustments. Also update your menus tip surcharge bc we were charged 18% for a group of 6 even though your menu clearly writes 18% is for a group of 8 and above. When I questioned the tip was told it's automatically entered because we were a group of 6. Didn't want to complain bc we were there to celebrate and already were frustrated from the nearly 1 hour delay to be seated. We did enjoy the food and drinks that's why I didn't lower the rating. We chose the BBQ&hot pot option which was lovely and even got a happy birthday song, mini cupcake and the mascot visit...unfortunately no teddy ( which I didn't even know was provided until our server informed us that was provided) because my bday was on the 20th and we came on the 23rd missed out on the teddy. But what to do when as mentioned we live 5 hours away so no way would we have made it on Friday after work.“

“1lb snow crab spicy was delicious and oooff I'd have more if I could to be honest.Catfish basket also really good.Service was good other than forgetting things 3x.Drinks were on point as well as the atmosphere.Honest opinion as someone with a baby to find an almost falling apart changing table was awful. Had to use my knee to hold it together, just no. That's a huge safety hazard infant/toddlers can get hurt. You guys need to change it ASAP, and if the mens one is the same, likewise.Parking: The free lot is very spacious.Kid-friendliness: Sandbox kid friendly for sure, vending machines as well.“

“Food is consistently good. Very good flavor and quick service. I enjoy the Baja Fish Tacos the best and get it almost everytime I go. The restaurant is small and nothing special to see but for a quick bite it is a nice stop. The employees have always been very nice and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to go.“

“Food is good and fresh! I love the Oysters on the half shell and their Oysters Rockefeller. The Salmon is always perfectly cooked! Drinks are great and hubby says the beer is nice and cold! Sitting outside or at the bar is our favorite place to sit. Nice place to visit if you haven't been by give em a try. Their service is good and you can't beat the Mimosa priced at $4.00.“

“First time coming to a Willie’s and it was very nice! Some of the food seemed a bit bland for my taste (I’m use to overly seasoned Louisiana Cajun boil) but this place is real nice! The loaded fries are super good and the sides are great, fried pickles were my favorite started and I tried the shrimp taco while my wife had the ribeye taco! The volume level was surprisingly nice, it wasn’t overly loud but still had that bar vibe to it. My wife and mom don’t like really loud restaurants but they both made comments on how nice it was to be in there!“

“Having a meal at Perry’s is always a great experience. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gibby. We dined at the restaurant last night and had the 10 ounce fillet, macaroni and cheese, and twice baked whipped potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and very hot. The macaroni and cheese was great, The twice baked potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious! The service was fantastic. Gibby seemed to appear whenever we needed something, yet he did not hover. There are a number of high-end steakhouses in San Antonio, and Perry’s never disappoints! We definitely will be back.“

“Was just looking for a place to eat without much fuss. Much better than expected! Both the service was excellent and the food.We got kids chicken nuggets, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, fish n chips, fried pickle chips, and margarita. We were impressed with all the food! Also multiple servers/bussers stopped by to assist us with things as we were needing them. We don’t like being bothered frequently. It was a really good balance of attentive without hovering :)Kid-friendliness: Quick to help with getting extra silverware for baby and assisted when her bottle rolled a few feet away“

“First off, the atmosphere is so beautiful! This place is perfect for a romantic dinner, a happy hour lunch on the weekends or even salsa dancing! Lauren was at the bar and she was amazing from start to finish. Super friendly and easy to talk with and she made 2 fantastic espresso martinis for me. I had the Sofia fries, garlic and onion mushrooms, (I forget the name of the dinner plate off hand but will update!). The food was fantastic and is a wonderful, refreshing change from your everyday SA staples. Totally recommend coming at least once! I will absolutely be back to check out the salsa dancing & piano bar!“

“Just had a wonderful experience at Umberto's. My girlfriends and I got together for lunch here for the first time and everything was amazing. Started out with appetizers, if you like mushrooms the stuffed mushrooms are a must, they are overflowing with cheese, spinach and sausage. Calamari was nice and crisp, the bruschetta was nicely seasoned. Main dish especially included chicken parmigiana, Umberto's penne pasta with shrimp and chicken griglia. All delicious, chicken griglia was so refreshing with basil, lemon and garlic. The shrimp in the Umberto's pasta were huge and the fresh vegetables squash, spinach and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Of course we ordered dessert which included cheesecake, cannoli, creme brûlée and tiramisu. Will definitely be back with my family!! Huge portions, great service, nice atmosphere!!“

“Last Sunday, Robyn of Ma’s Ranch and Rescue had invited us to the Easter Bunny Bash at the Culebra Creek Park on the west side of town. I found @mariscosdelpuerto1 not too far from the park on Culebra and we headed there for lunch before the event. The place was very intimate and definitely full of customers. Dad and I had the Limonada Agua Frescas, and Hubby had Topo Chico. There was so much on the menu to choose from. We decided to try the Ceviche Pescado (fish), Caldo de Maricos (seafood), Mini Capitan, half dozen Ostiones (oysters), and 3/3/3 fish, shrimp and fried oysters with fries. So much fresh and good food. Paola was our server and she was very busy with the crowd. Glad we ordered medium-sized dishes as the portions were generous. If you’re ever on the west side of town, check them out.“

“It’s hard not to get hungry writing about this, one of my favorite restaurants. As I write, I both recall fondly the many times I’ve come here for the mushroom matar masala, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala, and look forward to the many times more I’ll return for exactly that and the friendly folks who work here. Please give this a shot!“

“I hit this place on a Friday afternoon around 3-4p.m. and even thou the restaurant itself was not busy at all when I walked in, the parking was another story. So be ready to park on the back parking lot, behind the restaurant.. Now that being said, all I can say is YUUM about my food!! I ordered a boil of 1lb. headless shrimp ($9.99), 1lb. little neck clams($9.99), 1lb. Snow crab legs ($29.99), all in sweet garlic butter sauce and (very) mild spiciness. Each bite was a warm mouthwatering bite of fresh seafood deliciousness. You also have quite the options as sides or to add in your boil bag (such as: sweet corn on the cobb, andouille sausage, boiled potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, etc.,) I chose to add to my boil (aside of my seafood) some andouille sausage and corn, plus white rice on the side. I was not very impressed with the white rice as it lacked the right texture or flavor for steamed rice, so I'll probably skip it next time. Like I previously mentioned, when I got there, the restaurant was not busy; but, a couple hrs later as I was leaving, it got busier with family groups. The ambiance was a bit too loud with music and large screen tvs for my liking.. but I can easily ignore that as I focus on my bag of deliciousness. If you are looking for full flavor and a fresh seafood boil that doesn't get lost in a bag of spices, then this is a great choice to treat your fancy. Just be ready, take a deep breath, and look at the pictures full of seafood deliciousness when the cashier says the total $ amount for you check!“

“Can't believe it took us this long to visit Pappadeaux. The food was outstanding. The portions were decent. The service was outstanding. The drinks were tasty and well balanced. I almost felt like I was back in Europe, in a very positive way, with the pace in regards to time between courses and the no pressure to "hurry up" as is so common. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit. If I had to pick on anything, it'd have to be prices, but nowadays everyone is taking the opportunity to bump prices. If I am going to pay a premium, then I expect the food and service to be on point. And it was.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the restaurant. There is a guard driving around keeping an eye on things as well.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids in the restaurant while we were there. We had some young adults with us also. They were treated well, many options for them, and they enjoyed their meals.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“

“Beautiful restaurant!! We had a short, but FANTASTIC experience. My sister and I visited during my lunch break as we were recommended there by some of my coworkers. Max was our waiter and he was amazing. He was very quick and attentive and made great recommendations. Unfortunately, we received notice of a personal emergency right as our food was brought out- Max was so kind and brought us a variety of to-go boxes and drinks to take with us in a hurry. We paid quickly and will definitely be back for the full experience!“

“We went there for crab and definitely got crab! We waited for 30 min being that it was 5 pm on Saturday night. We got a margarita flight and all of them were tasty, but a little pricey. You got 4 small mason jars for $20 ish dollars. My friend and I split a boil. I liked that you could choose the seasoning and heat. We got calamari for an app, it was alright kinda chewy, but the sauce it came with was fire! My boyfriend got the redfish and he said it was super dry and the rice and veggies it came with were bland. Our boil was great we got crab, sausage, shrimp, potato, and corn. I loved the flavor. They took a bit to bring us bibs and gloves and once they did we dug in but they were out of crab crackers. They said they’d bring them when some were clean, but never did. So we used our forks (might have gotten bent them by the time we were done but oh well) our bill was $144. I might go back if I’m feeling a crab boil, but otherwise meh.“

That means all food cooked well and served warm/hot and delicious.I took some family there tonight and I said, honestly, "If your food isn't a solid 9/10, then it's not to their standards". “This was our second or third time at Bourbon Street and I've got really mixed feelings about it. Each time we've been there, it was not crowded - so much so that we almost didn't go in. We walked in and the floor by the front door was sticky - like a soda was spilled and not cleaned up. The food was good - I had the shrimp creole with dirty rice and it was really good. My wife had the linguini Mardi Gras and she said it was fairly bland. Portion sizes were very good! We sat at the bar and the bartender was more interested in talking with one of the regulars than providing good service. He rarely, if ever glanced our way to see if we needed anything a I had to interrupt their conversation twice to ask for a refill and salt & pepper.“

They serve draft & bottled beer, have a full bar for cocktails, & can make micheladas (beer cocktails).Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps are available, but if a friend has a rollator or wheelchair, no automatic doors.
