“Grew up with Japanese food and I can tell you, the food here is AUTHENTIC. Definitely one of the best in SA. Miso soup so much like what you'd get in Japan. I was actually speechless!! The katsu (pork) was SO tender and flavorful. I was really impressed!!! Bragged about it to my Japanese friends. Already looking forward to going back. 10 out of 10.“

“This is the perfect post workout spot! I came after my cycling class at Gold’s next door, and they had so many healthy, high protein options with the most flavorful boba tea. Highly recommend pink lychee! Ms. M’s service was phenomenal and she even checked in afterwards to ensure my food was to my liking!“

“Excellent first time experience! So fresh and yummy! Great service and a great deal at lunch. I ordered the pad thai lunch portion $12 and appetizers and had plenty leftover for next days lunch. My husband loved the duck panang curry. Delicious and gorgeous presentation. The modern decor is spot on~ well done. Clean bathrooms too, which is a plus. Def coming back!“

“A nice date night place if you want to throw down on good Japanese food. The all you can eat menu is decently priced. Food comes out prompt and delicious and the wait staff are great, bear in mind the place gets busy but that is imo an indicator of a good place to be. Come hungry!“

“Went for the first time last week. Put on an order online, and decided to try the Geisha Bowl to go. I requested to sub the sriracha aioli for the creamy wasabi and requested it on the side. When I picked up the order the girl behind the counter was friendly and had nice customer service. The place looked clean and cute inside. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars for customer service is because the creamy wasabi was mixed into the bowl and not on the side , making it a little more than I expected, and it left me wondering what the sirracha aioli would’ve been like? All said, it was still delicious and I’ll try something different next time!“

“This is THE best Korean food in San Antonio! The kimchi is to die for but in general, every dish I get is better than the last. It's such a pleasure patronizing this business as the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I appreciate that they offer a ton of authentic Korean options as well. Do not ponder, do not hesitate...just eat! I suggest the short ribs! Changed my life.“

“Beautiful restaurant!! We had a short, but FANTASTIC experience. My sister and I visited during my lunch break as we were recommended there by some of my coworkers. Max was our waiter and he was amazing. He was very quick and attentive and made great recommendations. Unfortunately, we received notice of a personal emergency right as our food was brought out- Max was so kind and brought us a variety of to-go boxes and drinks to take with us in a hurry. We paid quickly and will definitely be back for the full experience!“

“The ambiance here is very relaxing and service is alway great. They offer sushi and sashimi. I had a poke bowl and it was delicious! Plenty of different rolls and other entrees if you are not a fan of sushi. My husband likes the Mongolian beef! Diamond poke bowl was very tasty!“

“Loved the sushi here! We ordered the San Antonian roll, the Habanero roll, and the Tricolor roll and they were all really tasty. My husband ordered the Chirashi bowl which has sashimi, seafood, fish roe, and Japanese rolled egg over rice. We enjoyed it all and every last bite. Prices were as expected for sushi and I did feel the rolls were a generous size. We left satisfied. The location has a moderate amount of seating. Good service and relaxed atmosphere. Great place for lunch or dinner.Parking: There are a few parking spaces dedicated to Sushi Seven right up front.“

“WOW-! Ive been going to Asoko for around a year to two and they have never failed me-! They had really nice servers and very friendly! We ordered big daddy roll, yakisoba, ikura, spicy scallop (I think) and can’t name the other sushi, and some skewers, but I recommend all of them. They gave us ice cream tempura for my parents anniversary, and it was delicious! We also ordered some green tea ice cream which is something we ate even if our buttons were bursting ? For those who reads to know, Yes there is a nice clean bathroom! Recommendations and reminders: lunch and dinner menus are different and you won’t be able to have any lunch items when it’s dinner hours. U recommend getting a sushi roll if you like them, the ingredients are conveniently placed and you can pick from there, I like the big daddy and one of the salmon rolls they are the best-! To summarize: Great food, amazing servers, nice bathrooms, amazing desserts, and I would recommend this place to anyone-!“

“Pho flavor was very mild and average. Not bad, but not great either. Ingredients were nice and fresh though. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of the 420 tots. Such a weird and foreign mix of flavors with a very intense smell. The smell was something like cat food or fish food flakes. Atmosphere and boba were fantastic. Cute place with a little Asian store inside.“

“Great place if you enjoy loud live Mexican Banda & Norteño music. Food is ok. Drinks are expensive and decent. Overall its a good place to enjoy being out withoit the need of being in a club! “I had the red dragon roll and it was amazing. Service is friendly. Ambiance is nice as it sits in a shaded food truck park but yes the rolls were very fresh and amazing. Only thing I hated was the prices. One roll was 20 bucks. That's pretty crazy. If prices were like 12-14 for rolls yes I'd be back. But I'm not gonna spend 20 even for amazing rolls. That's just too expensive“

“Came here for date night and had the most incredible experience. Absolutely wonderful food. We got 6 rolls plus a gansito roll for dessert and left super full and with no complaints. Will definitely have to come back and explore more of the menu!“

“Love to come during lunch and sit at the bar. Watching the sushi chef is a performance to be seen. He is fast, clean, and has finesse. Waitress was attentive and place is clean and quiet during lunch. Can get quite cold but not a huge deal. Ordered the Leon Springs Roll, Rainforest roll, and soft shell crab appetizer. Leon Springs Roll had perfect spice level and freshness of yellowtail. Rainforest Roll was delicious and refreshing. Soft shell crab has a beautifully sweet & crunchy texture.Special rolls are $20 average but super tasty. Worth it to me.“

“The sushi is incredible! They usually have specials and the servers are all great and efficient. You may have a small wait but it’s well worth it! Make sure you arrive with your entire party to get seated as quickly as possible. If it’s a table for two, you probably won’t wait too long. I recommend the Nama roll or the samurai roll if you like a little spice! The spicy beef ramen is delicious and not very spicy so don’t be scared to try it!They don’t have high chairs so if you have toddlers it’s not a good option for dining in.“

“We were SO impressed with this place! We called to see what their wait was and they said that it varies because it was hibachi but that they don’t cook in front of you. We decided to give it a try. SOOO glad we did. It’s definitely more of a take out place, but they do have a seating area for dine in. Our son (3) was having a blast being able to walk around since it wasn’t crazy crowded or busy. A bunch of take out orders did come in but no other dine ins. The staff were all so nice and friendly. Chef Chris did an AMAZING job and our food was delicious. Definitely will be making this our go to hibachi spot!Kid-friendliness: Our 3 year old was just running around being chaotic as 3 year olds are but the staff were so nice and never complained or asked him to sit. He had a great time and ate all of his food which is definitely an achievement.“

“I went to dinner with my son and his family. We were getting the hibachi grill experience, which my 7-year old twin grand daughter's have never experienced. Our waitress was excellent and the chef working the grill was very entertaining! We enjoyed the food and the company at the table. It was a great experience!Kid-friendliness: The chef was very accomodating to fix my grand daughters meal just the way she liked it, with no garlic. She is a picky eater, and she ate everything!“

“Been to this place several times and it always has great service and delicious food! Our server was named Caleb, he was nice and charismatic so if you get the chance to, ask for him as your server! The food can be a little pricey but it’s definitely worth the money and if you have any food left, it makes great left overs! This place is great for a date or for a group celebration or gathering!“
