“Chips and salsa, blah. Salsa was warm and no flavor. First, lunch serving is very small. Chilled Rellano was not traditional, first they brought me chicken instead of picadillo. Then forgot my fork. Did not care for Chille Relleno. Looked like a creamy avacado sauce over the top. I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by its Chille Relleno. They failed.Update, decided try again. I must say, they have the best Cuban I have had in San Antonio. So they now get 4 stars. We will see what's next.“

“Omg. Amazing. I showed the guy a picture of someone else’s review, said that’s what I wanted and asked what it was and he told me it was a salad! The Mexican Cobb salad or something. I usually don’t like salads but this was protein PACKED. I got a corn and flour tortilla on the side for .69 each. They also give an active duty military discount. So good, definitely going back and I already have my regular order ready.“

“The food was really good except the queso needed a little more salsa or something in it. My wife had enchiladas and said that they were really good. Normally she doesn't like restaurant enchiladas. I had the pork guisada and it was really good too.Our server was really bad though and it looked like everyone else was getting good service.“

“I have coming here for almost 8 years and I finally decided to leave a review. Amazing spot to come eat and/or celebrate events. The prices are pretty good but the food is worth every single penny. The waiter was nice and attentive (but not over attentive). I got the enchiladas and I highly recommend them. I have never gotten take out but I am sure there won’t be a drop off in quality. Excellent spot!Dietary restrictions: Healthy options are available and listed on the menuKid-friendliness: Cool environment perfect for kids to enjoy their experience.“

“The salsa was surprisingly spicy, so make sure you have your drink before you eat it if you have a low tolerance for that kind of thing. The puffy tacos were great, they were fried corn tortillas with your choice of filling. The tortilla shells were a little crunchy but had a nice chewy texture still. Service was great, seating was adequate, and everyone seemed very friendly. If you are in town and like Tex-Amex style food, definitely heck this one out.“

“High pice tag. Probably double of Las palapas but one of the best mexican eateries. Tender beef and the chicken was absolutely amazing. I had just a salad this last round and it was quite possibly one of the better if not best salads I've had in a while.Parking: The number of times I've been parking was not a problem. But there is a number of parking slots.“

“We sought out Henry's specifically for the puffy tacos when visiting San Antonio. The food did not disappoint and the service was friendly, helpful, and engaging. Great casual lunch. Our only complaint is that now they're a 14 hour drive away.“

“Me, hubby and my adult child ate here while In SA! I got the Salad with chicken. I don't remember the name but Asian style. The chicken in the salad was so tasty and so was the dressing! I'm very finicky about my dressing and my chicken! The guys got chicken strips with different sauces !! Again- I am very finicky about sauces !! I was shocked that I loved all the sauces they got !!! We ordered fried mushrooms and they came with a ranch-dill type dressing SO freaking yummy!! And I don't like ranch dressing!! Give this place a try !! You're sure to like it !!“

“My family and I rarely eat out, but when we do, it’s almost always at La Hacienda Scenic Loop! The atmosphere is wonderful, plenty of inside and outside seating. The outside area has a play area for kids which my son loves. There is live music on the patio on Friday and Saturday nights. Our favorite foods are the nachos at la butler, puffy tacos, and enchiladas verdes. The house margarita on the rocks is the best in town, just the right amount of sweet/sour. Staff is always wonderful and welcoming! Highly recommend this wonderful family-owned restaurant! And if you haven’t been to their other restaurants (Los Barrios, La Hacienda de Los Barrios, and Viola’s Ventanas), give those a try as well!“

“Food was delicious and service was great. Loved the lemon poppy seed French toast, and the Texas eggs benedict was a fun take on a classic dish. They were not super busy on a Friday night but we are glad we stopped in to try, would definitely recommend.“

“Something about ordering at the cash register is always a bit weird, but for Torchy’s, it works. Top notch food and excellent beer pours. Margaritas were mixed well, and the patio for hanging with friends for 3 hours was top notch. I have yet to order a dish there that I don’t like.“

“This tavern is a diamond in the rough. It has an extremely large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu. It has a very laid back vibe and a good selection of beer, booze, and wine. Definitely going back!“

“It was 4/4/24 (World Burrito Day) - we drove from Houston to Boerne that morning to visit with family. We hadn't eaten all day so were hangry. I expected a long line but it wasn't bad at all. I hadn't been at a Freebirds in a long time but used to go quite often back in the day, so was looking forward to it. If you've never been, It's similar to Chipotle. My hubby & I each ordered the World Burrito Day special - $6 Burrito, bowl, or salad. When I got to the front of the line, I asked if the limited time brisket was included in the $6 special & they confirmed, so I ordered it. SOME items cost $2 EXTRA so if you want to know what costs extra you MUST ASK otherwise they won't tell you nor is there any signage on the actual food area that indicates the extra costs. This feels pretty sneaky (underhanded upselling without the customer even knowing until they pay at the end of the line for it) so NOT at all A FAN OF THAT!! E.g. my bowl maker recommended the cauliflower rice, which ended up $2 extra - something they never mentioned ?. The only one I caught was the guacamole/avocado because many places charge extra so I asked & they confirmed so I skipped. At the end of the line / at the cashier - I found out due to the underhanded upselling, we were hit with a number of small extras $ which we could've instead bought a 3rd $6 Burrito, bowl, or salad .Overall the food is hearty & good, counter service is quick.“

“Tamales good...but...in the area where there is food being processed...there is a full size company van parked within feet of the prep tables. No joke. When you visit...take a gander through the windows where you see a garage door. There's people prepping food right next to the delivery van. If the Tamales taste smoky...well you'll know why. I don't think I'm comfortable eating these garage Tamales any more now that I think about what I observed.“

“Good place to eat. The size of the breakfast taco you get for the price is perfect. Well flavored. Our group showed up in mass 20+, and the team working accommodated us. Even showing up with so many, the food came out quick. Thank you for your hard work.“
“My favorite barbacoa place on NW SA! Lines but go pretty quickly and always tasty all meat with homemade corn tortillas and hot sauce! Homemade tamales which are better than any others around. They have 2 lanes in drive thru when it's busy. They sell out of menudo on the regular. Love the memories of getting Sunday Barbacoa with my kids for many years.“

This is a must try .Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and everything was prepared with such care I was not sick from any cross contamination.“

“Always a great experience here. Brianna prepared our food this time and wow is she a ray of sunshine. She was so kind and detailed. “I think this is best Chili's in the San Antonio area, by a good margin. Service is very fast and friendly, and the food is very good. Surprisingly, there was no wait to be seated on Friday or Saturday evening. Not sure how this place can be less crowded than other Chili's, while having superior service, but I'll take it.“

“While the atmosphere and the service was very awesome the food however is not consistent with the other Mama Margie's near Wurzbach. The salsa the fire roasted salsa was watery and Bland the bean and cheese tacos were flavorless compared to the other Mama Margie's.“
