“Las Palmas is one of my favorite Mansfield Mexican restaurants. From their sweet tea, thin chips and zesty salsa, to their great entrées and picture perfect desserts, Las Palmas scores big with this Texan. This night I had their Camarones Mexico. Large shrimp cooked with jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, and ranchero sauce served with rice and refried beans. It is my go-to dish when I want an explosion of flavor dancing across my tongue. I don't leave more than a grain of rice on plate when I'm finished. I usually follow up with a dessert and gave my server the thumbs up to bring a dessert of her choosing. She brought out a beautifully plated flan and ice cream covered and drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup. A perfect ending to a table for one date with myself.”

I watched their son grow from a little child, to being taller than I am! Knowing them and working for them has been a joy that goes beyond professional, they are family to me. Coming from the inside, I want everyone to know, health and safety is a priority, the meats are trucked in fresh, never frozen, the staff are all fun to be around, and the food is great. Sake earned a status in my heart as a pinnacle of the Mansfield community. This town wouldn’t be home without this restaurant that has seen me grow into the person I am today. “Tonight was my first time eating Luna grill. It was delicious. I had the Mediterranean salad with gyro meat. Another had a kabob type meal with chicken and beef. My picky 4 yr old ate every bit of chicken and tried some of everything we had. Plus the appetizer that was a sampler of various items. We all have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. So glad we tried it. It’s on our list of favorites.”

“Mexican Inn is one of my to go to places for Mexican dining. From the moment they place the delicious chips on the table(my favorite is the strips that puff up because when I dip them in the hot sauce I actually get a bite of sauce) till I get my food, it is a very enjoyable experience. The food is fabulous and enough of it that I never quite eat all of it. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that our comfort and safety because my husband who is almost 84 has mobility issues and until recently used a cane. He had a bad fall and now uses a walker to aid his stability. The first place we will when he starts getting out is Mexican Inn! Bettie Wylie”

The burger itself was seasoned well and cooked well. It was a hearty, half-pound burger. It was perfectly juicy, not dry at all. The bun was toasted, and even had a slight crunch as you bit into the burger.

Both regular and sweet potato fries were great. Service at the counter was friendly. We paid $25.01 for what you see in the picture.

We are looking for 2-3 burger joints in the Mansfield area, and this will be one of them. The only mark down was that the inside could use some touch ups - paint and some freshening up. The place was clean for sure, just a bit dated.”
