As a new resident in Marshall, I was craving a burger and wanted something different. I stumbled upon Jucys and was pleasantly surprised!

**Pros:** The prices are reasonable, and the youthful staff was super nice and welcoming. Most importantly, the food was fantastic! I came in for a burger, and it did not disappoint.

**Cons:** If I had to nitpick, I’d love to see a broader range of music. But honestly, the atmosphere was still great overall. Highly recommend!

“Today was my first visit after hearing about the place for a long time. I got the fried ribs with 2 sides and a drink, then got a side of chicken spaghetti and a piece of strawberry cake. The fried ribs and chicken spaghetti both were excellent. The ribs were super tender, and the spaghetti had chicken in pretty much every bite. The strawberry cake was the best I've ever had, without a doubt. Staff was super friendly. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you give this place a try.”

“I live in Florida and found Soul Palace on the Internet with great reviews. Five of us went on April 11 and sat outside at the picnic tables. Absolutely love love loved the catfish and the burgers got rave reviews from the folks with me. “Order at the counter and then they bring your food out to the table. Very busy this night and had to wait a while to order. Food came out after a while. Catfish was hot and crispy and the crawfish was great. A little loud due to the crowd but other than that it was a nice meal. Staff were friendly and I know tired as they were working hard. I would like to go back when not so crowded. But we will go back as it was a great meal. Prices were $15 to $30 a person.”

“We love to eat at Golden Corral but wish there were more fried chicken legs . The food is really good & affordable & service staff is very friendly. Actually, we wish we could get another Golden Corral back in Carthage, Texas. Then we could go eat out more often. There is a building for sale as you are coming into Carthage from Marshall on the left. It used to be a restaurant & has plenty of parking.”

“We visit this restaurant many times a year and order take out several times. I recently place an order for shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine with Broccoli and of course taramasu. The food was excellent as always. What surprised me was the cost. I expected some higher cost, but the menu prices onli e showed my order should have been about $20.00 less than what I was charged. Since they failed to provide me with an itemized receipt I really don't know what I was charged for. They need to update their online menu and also provide itemized receipts.”

“Chick-fil-A is one of my go-to places to eat when road tripping. Stopped at this restaurant on my way home from Arkansas to Houston. The service was top tier. I wish I had caught the young lady's name that kept serving me. She was very attentive and very helpful. The food is just as good as any other Chick-fil-A. The inside was very modern, clean, and pleasing to the eye. I will definitely stop at this Chick-fil-A anytime I'm in Marshall.”

“I was in a quick business trip and I decided to pop by and give this place a try. I ordered agua de Jamaica (hibiscus flower) and shrimp and octopus cocktail and both were very delicious. The cocktail is served cold and it includes corn chips as well as saltine crackers. It had a fair portion of seafood in it and it was worth it.”

“You know it's a really little little bar at a hotel of all places, the first time I saw it we weren't even going to stop until some stranger recommended it and told us that the bartender was a really nice female. He wasn't lying, she was great they have two nice pool tables which is the whole reason we went anyways she can make a great drink and everybody we've seen in that bar has just been nice as can be. I recommend this bar all day long.”

“I was fortunate to be taken there this Friday for the first time ever in order for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every single individual there who was working that night was dedicated to their job and the right way. Even the customers were all so friendly and delightful! The drinks and food tasted sensational. The service is beyond exceptional!I loved the atmosphere and being able to play a couple of games of pool. Then, I could go outside and sit down, eat, dance, and even sing.Every Friday is karaoke night!! Then, typically, every Saturday night is when they have different live bands or people playing music up on the stag. I guarantee this is a fun, safe, and comfortable environment to be in. Definitely want to go back!!”
