“I went with my family of 6. It was a great place nice location ample parking clean. Service was excellent. But best part food was very tasty. Prices are same as other restaurant. Its indochinese fusion the lady owner from nepal and her chinese husband is the chef. I plan to go again as their food beside being so tasty and fresh some of the dishes are served by a Chinese lady in a sizzling frying pan. They have tea icecream kulfi n lemonade too. They had a 25$ buffet but we preferred la carte as chinese food we like served right from hot wok to the table. ???. I was planning to tip them good but 18% gratuity was already added in the bill so maybe next time around.Vegetarian options: Fried paneer was spicy“
“There are restaurants that focus so much on their food that they reduce their muse to perpetual mediocrity; This restaurant is not among them. While some, rather successful, restaurants focus primarily on sandwiches, this one has their eyes keen on soup. Most generic Vietnamese restaurants fail when merely attempting one facet of the cuisine. Yet, this one has met and exceeded my expectations.Include a delightful view of the sunset, and it becomes a trove of treasures just waiting to be discovered. Peer deeper into the color scheme geared to have your appetite build, and the inspiration becomes self evident. Will you be the next one to discover why this one enjoys a seat at this wonderful establishment? Should one be found within such trove, seek out the beef combination soup; For those with a penchant for heat and spice, be advised, they are aptly accommodating to such needs.Mid Spring heat, and early Summer waves of dryness, will have to wait while taking delight in a refreshing Iced Coffee. Cost-effective meals can be found within a streamlined menu, leaving behind a feeling of serendipity. There isn't a price point that can take away the value of this establishment, for solace can be found amidst the wide variety of flavor; It is for this reason, amongst others, that this establishment has my gratitude. Thank you.“
“Went with a few friends, we all had an amazing time. Super cool vibes, great music selection, and staff was awesome as well. Ordered wings, didn’t quite come out as I had imagined.. would’ve preferred them tossed so be sure to specify that when ordering yours! Outside of that will definitely be going back!“
“The evening duo they got with the manager J and the server Jerry was phenomenal!!!!First the server was super Friendly and second the manager was very knowledgeable.... Like ,Wow ?? That curry chicken shrimp was delish, thank you Jerry for that suggestion. That crab puff pairing was really the best add on from the manger“
“If I could give more stars I absolutely would. This place is located in a strip mall looking area but inside is amazing. Beautiful ambiance and seriously fantastic service at totally affordable prices. Wine was a little pricey though. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the vegan soba salad and mango sorbet. We also tried the mango shaved ice which was phenomenal.Vegetarian options: Not as many options as I would have expected.Dietary restrictions: Not many dairy free options.Parking: Parking lot that severes the strip is very accessible. We had no trouble finding a spot right in front.“
“We booked a reservation. Highly recommend, just in case there’s a long wait. First time at this location. It was clean. Food was good! We had Alex as our waiter. He was great. Very attentive and friendly. Our favorites were the garlic noodles, bistro hanger steak, and the steamed dumplings. The meat lovers special wasn’t a bad deal at all. Will definitely be coming back to this location.“
“absolutely BANGER authentic chinese skewer + late night hang out spot. we got the cabbage, grilled lamb spare ribs, grilled sizzling squid, eggplant skewer, and oyster mushroom skewer. if you order no spicy its still extremely flavorful, but even the mild spicy (we got on the squid) wasn't overbearing. note that this place does have karaoke option so if you're sensitive to loud noises i wouldn't recommend. our waiter was the SWEETEST ever - gave us amazing recommendations and let us have a small sample of the pig ears since we were worried about the spice level. for less than $60, we (2 ppl) have enough leftovers to last 2 more meals (so in total 6 meals for $60). the white rice is $1 per bowl in case u wanted to order some.“
“My husband and I eat here once a week. The sushi is just as good as any restaurant closer to the city. The Lunch Menu and Dinner menu options are all very delicious. We get something different every time we visit. The staff is very friendly. So close to home!“
“All the employees are really friendly and helpful, especially Rome, who's very genuine and natural with customers. Love the water view on the patio, they have good shade and heaters for cold weather. The Poke is pretty standard, but good. The grapefruit green tea is delicious, though maybe on the small side if you're expecting the usual boba spot's 20-oz-ers. Their prices aren't too bad for poke, honestly a bit lower than some places I've been recently, and I'd expect to pay a lot more for a place with a waterside patio and bar, so a pretty good deal tbhVegetarian options: Edamame, avocado, and tofu are great vegetarian protein options“
“Me and my fiancé are obsessed with this place. Our favorite dish by far is “char kwe teow” by a long shot. We literally dream about it. This time we also got the garlic eggplant and salt and pepper squid. No complaints. Staff is very attentive and food comes out pretty quick for a sit down restaurant. If I had I give it a con, it’s very loud. There’s just so many people enjoying their food. ❤️ Definitely worth a visit.“
“This was our first time coming to crawfish cafe and it was so good! When we arrived, there was a short line and we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. We had the crawfish, garlic noodles, queso and cracklins and fried shrimp and catfish plate. Everything was good and the crawfish was 10/10. I got the kickin Cajun flavor with “spicy” spice level which was really spicy but GOOD! Jennifer was our waiter and she was very welcoming and friendly. She met all of our needs even while training another staff member! Our experience here was excellent and we will return!“
“I must admit this one surprise me I stopped to get dinner here and it was pretty good customers service was cool I walked out side they brought my food to me that’s a plus and the dragon bowl was really good the fish in the bowl was a little over seasoned yet the other items on the bowl was bomb good the Brussels sprouts was good, shrimp was good along with the sauce. The boudin balls we're not hitting as expected. The shrimp po-boy wife said was good and the fries were not good to her said they were just plain. Over all we will try this place again even though the price was a little high for two to go the food made up for.“
“Emdy is one of the best waitresses! She had an answer to every question we asked. The cocktails are amazing and the patio is a vibe. I'm vegan, so nearly everything that is not marked as Keto can be modified to be vegan. I had 1 veggie taco and it was probably the best taco of my life. I also ordered the chicken masala pasta sub vegetables which was delicious. My boyfriend got a decaf coffee at the end of the night and it came with a cute coconut pastry!“
“SouthXSaigon restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its expert use of seasoning and bold flavors. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing a perfect balance of spices and herbs that elevate the overall taste. From savory starters to decadent mains, the seasoning is spot on, enhancing the authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you're indulging in their spicy crawfish or savoring their delicious fried rice, every bite bursts with flavor, leaving a lasting impression. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Vietnam with a modern twist.“
“The service is great here. As a lifelong vegetarian it's usually difficult to find places that are fully vegetarian. Many of the meals at this place have fake meats which I do not eat as I've never eaten meat. They were able to cater to my needs by not using any of these. The pad thai and Kung pao tofu were really good. Will go again. Highly recommend to vegetarian diets.“
“New place for me to visit , pleasantly surprised by the location. Place looks hip, fun and family friendly. Decor was very original and pretty. The food is the tastiest I’ve had out here in a long time and the service was great definitely returning to try more ?Todays favesBlooming Flower teaHot and Spicy dumplings ?Dan Dan noodles ?“
“The food was so good! The chicken was very crunchy and detectable. However, the main star is our wonderful waitress Rita! She made the experience so much more enjoyable with his assistance. She was kind and helped refill our waters and overall kept a good attitude! She was also quick on her feet when it came to ordering and serving the food to us and other families there. Wonderful work, Rita! Can't wait to see you next time!“
“I love the food! It was delicious and flavorful. I ordered a little bit of everything to try. I love the salad dressing. It was very refreshing and the fries was well seasoned. The chicken sandwich was crunchy and crispy. The hamburger was good. I didn't care much for the dessert. Maybe if it was straight out of the fryer it would be good but it was just dough to me. Overall, I enjoyed everything except the dessert. I will be back for the burgers.“
“The Spicy Ramen had really great flavor. The pork Katsu was very tasty and went well the the ramen and curry sauce. The chicken katsu with white rice was amazing. The service was very friendly and the wait was minimal. I highly recommend this place.“
“I enjoyed a filling, tasty pork katsu bento box here on a Friday evening. For around $16, the bento box came with crispy pork katsu, curry, rice, potato salad, shrimp tempura, fried veggies, and California rolls. There was a generous amount of crunchy, breaded pork katsu, which was deliciously paired with curry and rice. The California rolls were a hit also, with plenty of imitation crab meat. The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall in Sugarland with plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself looks newly renovated. Service was prompt despite a busy evening. Overall, I would recommend this place looking for a tasty meal in the area.“
“This is great place to hang out after school because there's a middle school right next to it walking distance me and my friends just hang out there after school they have amazing Boba and food.It also gets really busy after school or if there if a event on a weekend we all go there its so much fun!!Hope you enjoy!!!Kid-friendliness: ALOT of kids like middle schoolers go there and its a really safe place.“
“This restaurant is great! I love the sides they serve as well as the beef dishes. The Bulgogi and Galbi are delicious. One comment I do have is that the spice levels are not really that high so keep that in mind when ordering.Kid-friendliness: It’s a great restaurant to bring kids since the spice levels are very tolerable“
“I recently dined at Sasaki Japanese Restaurant in Houston, Texas, and it was an absolute delight! The food was exceptional, Here are some highlights:*Flavorful Sushi and Sashimi: The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and had authentic Japanese flavors.*Intimate Atmosphere: Sasaki is a cozy little gem tucked away on Westheimer Road. The intimate ambiance adds to the overall experience. It’s perfect for a quiet dinner or a special occasion.*Attentive Service: The staff at Sasaki went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. From recommendations to timely service, they truly cared about our satisfaction.I wholeheartedly recommend Sasaki. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition.“
“A great Taiwanese café with all the dishes you would like from Taiwan. The prices are great with generous portions. I would like them to include stinky tofu and the oyster omelet but I understand why those 2 dishes are not very common in the area. Over all a great place for breakfast and lunch.“
“Hosted a birthday celebration at L' Amour and had a great experience. Asif was so gracious and easy to work with, genuinely helpful and wanting to meet our expectations for the event. Food was tasty and the staff polite and helpful. Many menu items to select from and the place has such great ambiance, we really had no need for decorations. We will certainly be back!“
“Toyori is an interesting fusion restaurant which serves both Japanese ramen and Taiwanese sizzling steak. While I cannot speak to the Japanese ramen, I say that their signature rib-eye steak was some of the best I've ever had. What made it stand out:1. The sauce - I typically go for the classic black pepper sauce but the combination of the black pepper sauce with the mushroom and tomato sauce was too intriguing to pass up. I was a big fan of the sauce (even though I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes in general).2. The steak was a perfect medium as ordered. I find that I don't usually pay much attention to how the steaks on these sizzling plates are cooked since they're usually pretty thin but Toyori's steak was not only cooked perfectly but was tasty as well.3. Portion size for the sizzling steak was good; I certainly was not hungry after eating everything.I will also note that the service was fantastic for our party of seven, and their physical menus have large beautiful pictures of the food. All in all, I will definitely be back for the sizzling steak (and maybe the ramen) when I'm back in Houston.“
“Excellent food! And even better customer service! Walked over to Little Woodrows after a Savnnah Banana game and came across this food truck. Was with a friend who couldn't have meat and they gave us a side of Kimchi and Meat ( for me) with our fries. Very good food! Definitely recommend.“
“Absolutely best non MSG home made Pho, superb and unique Flambé steak with rice, shredded chicken spring rolls!! We have come to this place since the rice village days too for over 20 years and the second owner is even better than the first!“
“(don’t mind me digging in before i took a picture) the actual plates are so cute; they spent money on cartoony cat bowls and the actual food was amazing. i don’t eat much normally but i finished all of my food in one sitting that’s how good it was!! i got the curry chicken ramen it was so filling and had lots of flavor and extras in bowl; it wasn’t plain at all. this place is completely underrated; i went in on a saturday afternoon and i was the only person there!! more people should be eating here. the service was obviously amazing there was only one person working but he made sure i was attended to“
“Listen as a small business owner I love supporting other business!! My baby wanted a chocolate shake and I googled amazing shakes near me and they provided us with this amazing place 10 mins near us. When I tell it was clean the young man that helped us was patient and helping us make the correct selection. When I tell you it was amazing and met my granddaughter needs!! We were so satisfied and happy with our visit!!! Our new spot for our treat for ourselfs. My husband loved it!!“
“There's always bn seating when I come here and the food is Lovely. My favs are Pork/Chicken Krapraw, Por Pai (pork ans shrimp egg rolls) and Wings Zab (medium spicy). Down fall is the language barrier. I become frustrated to order ? esp. over the phone or when "hangry". I get over it when the food arrives! “
“So after visiting this place more than ten times and I tried most of the menu.I can definitely recommend this place and guarantee that the food is really tasty and original. If you're looking for something special and a little different. This is the right place because it will be tasty for sure!Very good for lunch very good for dinner.I think it's really special fusion and very special kitchen!I don't know how but it's clever and simple at the same time which is amazing!Thank you so much.“
“Hello foodie folks…can I just say wow…crazy new spot in the heart of H-town Galleria area that just opened two days ago and still in their soft opening phases. However, they got their system and wonderfully, smiling staff together. They are inside a new Food Hall and I love the give. Went here during lunch and there definitely was a strong vibe and energy level. The food was seasoned well and good portion size. Good amount of shrimps, tasty noodles and delish Brussels sprouts!! If you want to just lounge around, there are comfy booths and seats all over. Come check them out. ChowChow Time!!“
“I really like this place. They had a change in the menu, but the food feels like it's prepared with better ingredients, an extra level of flavor. The service has changed a lot, the waiters enjoy serving you. It used to be very different, but on my visit, they really impressed me. Plus, they give you the check with a cotton candy panda! The place has improved a lot“
“Oh My Gosh??,my B.F/coworkertook me to No lo Bros. for lunch today10/4/2019, i had the chopped beef samich & it was so FREAKIN yummy??, we also had the mac-n-cheese & the WOW beef fried rice!??, this rice was so awesome that i totally can see myself pulling in to get ONLY this from time to time?Well my co-worker took me again, we had chopped beef sandwich, Sliced beef sandwich, slicced sausage, fried okra & the corn ? & EVERYTHING was Magni2/28/2024“
“Our server John made my night, I was having a pretty rough evening and I had ordered the wrong thing and he helped make it right. He made me feel very validated and not ashamed of myself for making a mistake and turned my night around for the better. Thank you John, I really really appreciate it so much.“
“Wide variety of gua bao so you can try different things each time you come or find something that fits your taste. I have ordered delivery from here but also had it in person. Unfortunately, the day we went in person the AC was not working and it felt like a greenhouse in the dining area. The food was still good though!“
“I ordered through Ubereats. the food was still super hot and delicious ! I was alittle scared to try it but omg. The brisket sandwhich was alittle bland but I still enjoyed it, the cream cheese puffs, and the wings are all freaking amazing !! I enjoyed very “
“UPDATE:We have now been back two times since our poor post-pandemic experience. We had a wonderful experience and delicious, hot, fresh food each time. Everyone there has been kind and thoughtful. I am so happy they found their way back, and I highly recommend them to everyone.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Loving Hut used to be my favorite restaurant in Houston. The server was super friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, the portions were large enough to share, and the restaurant had a nice vibe. When we went yesterday for lunch, though, it wasn’t at all what it was pre-covid. They did not have half the dishes we ordered, the portion sizes were greatly reduced, they forgot one of our orders and then claimed we never ordered it. When I showed proof of the order, they refunded our money, but did not explain or apologize for the error. It seems they now only carry pre-made food items like breaded soy patties, french fries, etc. Those who had the Happy Crispy Burger said it was tasty, but whatever they used in the Spicy Cha Cha was just fried and flavorless. The Lovepucinos were very good. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Loving Hut in Houston.“
“I order lunch from here once a week and everything is delicious from the Angus steak taco to the shrimp taco as well as the Agedashi tofu taco! All the tacos are well seasoned and tasty! Don't forget to try the chips and roasted corn salsa! Yum!“
“We already ate dinner and was getting some ice cream near by when we saw this place lit up at night. I just knew it was going to taste good so I ordered some fried rice with beef and chicken medium spice to go & it was the best fried rice I have ever had. Since then we have eaten there once a week. Staff is super sweet. It is pricey but the quality is definitely on point.“
“Drunken Lobster in Houston, TX, offers a delightful fusion of seafood, Vietnamese, and Asian flavors that stands out in the city's vibrant culinary scene. The enticing Surf and Turf Garlic Noodles to the signature Drunken Lobster, each dish is crafted with attention to detail, offering unique and satisfying flavors. The menu also features items like Shrimp Garlic Noodles, Godly Fried Rice, and Sizzling Clams, alongside tempting sides like Truffle Fries.“
“Delicious meal options! The tempura is perfect, the watermelon boba slushie is top notch, and the ramen broth is slurp worthy!Parking: We were able to park right in front of the door.Kid-friendliness: Comfortable environment for kids to enjoy too.“
“My name is Andrea Hardtmeier I am from Brazil and every week I come here the food is excellent and more all the staff here are incredible super high attention, carish and so professional. I want to give 5 stars to Ann Marie and Naly how they are hard working professional and super nice. Very welcoming people. I totally recommend this place to anyone. Thanks, again for all extremely amazing service.“
“Delicious pretty authentic dishes for a very reasonable price. The lunch specials were such a deal, coming with your choice of soup, rice, egg roll or spring rolls, and a very hefty entree! We had the eggplant and garlic sauce and the green beans, which were both pretty authentic (I lived in China for a few months and definitely reminded me of the food there.)“
“It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant open for sit down dining, Hu's was so we did. The General Tso's off the lunch special was 4 stars, the veggie egg roll was 4 stars....could've been a little hotter, the wonton soup was 5 stars...we loved the broth and the slightly al dente wonton. The beef and mushroom on the lunch menu was 4 stars, it had two kinds of mushrooms, one kind was tasty and the other was chewy. They didn't have their A.C. on, don't know why, but it was kind of warm.We enjoyed our second visit to Hu's. My wife and I had dinner. We shared and carried leftovers home of General Tso's Chicken with jalapenos and broccolli, it had great flavor with a hint of spicy heat. We shared a large bowl of wonton soup. They even have miso soup which my wife may get next time. We shared a few appetizers like pork fried eggrolls, fried crab rangoon. We'll be back.“
“Been here a handful of times, the food is always good! The prices are very affordable, specially for the quality. Here's what we ordered:Kung Pao Chicken: 8/10General Tso's Chicken: 9.5/10Fried Tofu: 10/10Beef stir fried Noodles: 8.7/10I highly recommend their Fried Tofu and General Tso's Chicken. Their fried tofu is the best. We have also tried their Salt and Pepper spare ribs and sesame Chicken previously and they're delicious! You really can't go wrong coming here. They have a wide variety of choices and was never let down every time we visited. So, don't hesitate to try this restaurant ??“
“This is my favorite place to eat lunch on this side of Chinatown.Get the sizzling plate with beef and rice. When the hot plate comes, smash the rice into the plate and let it cook. Make sure to mix your beef to cook as you line it. There are free sauces on the table. It's about $15pp.“
“I used to frequent Uptown Sushi a lot with friends. However, it stopped being a satisfying sushi spot and I could not recall the reason. Recently I came here again to try and remember. If you are seeking a relaxed atmosphere, perhaps for drinks with friends, I suggest this place. The service provided by the staff was excellent, although the quality of the food was average and has room for improvement. Nonetheless, I plan on going back to give it another chance in the near future.“
“The presentation of my ramen was a 100/10. The service was amazing, the ramen was delicious, and the professionalism of the woman working was warm, friendly, and kind. This level of service reminds me of how things used to be, before covid ruined the service industry as we knew it. 110% will support this business as long as I’m in this area, as well as recommend it to everyone I know.“
