“I had a craving for carne asada fries and google brought me here. I called before to make sure they were open. No answer but they returned my call shortly. When we arrived we were greated and had our order taken. The young man was very nice and asked if we had any questions about other menu items. It was very nice of him to take time and explain the menu items.He even let us sample some aqua Fresca which was really good so I had to add to my order too. My fries were delicious and the service was great. We will be back.“

“Nov 2024 - My family has been coming to this Torchy's location most Sundays for the past two years. We've always liked this location -- the covered patio seating, the friendly staff -- but over the past few months it seems like the place is running like a well-oiled machine. We have several family members who have food restrictions, and our orders have been consistently correct, even though they're full of substitutions. The portions are generous and the tacos of the month are consistently interesting and delicious. We take maximum advantage of the rewards program to get regular free items! Torchy's has been a great addition to the greater Austin restaurant scene, and this is a particularly solid location.

Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten free folks. Can ask to get dairy removed on many dishes.

“We happened to be hungry and drove by last night. Any restaurant that has a full parking lot gets my attention... follow the locals...they know where to eat! And it didn’t disappoint !! From the moment we walked in and were met by Luna, we knew we were in good hands. Our waitress, Kayla, was very knowledgeable and friendly. “Carnitas are tasty, includes salsa, cilantro and chopped onions, they are affordable but do not include tortillas you have to purchase them separately, they are fresh hand made at the moment however we waited almost 30 minutes for them to make them, I purchased 12 tortillas for 4 dollars overall for 1 pound or carnitas and the tortitas we paid 24 dollars.“

“I love this place. The tacos are excellent, the staff is wonderful, and everyone I’ve brought here has loved it too. I decided to order a ton of tacos for my daughter’s birthday party to accommodate gluten free, vegetarian, etc, and they were a huge crowd pleaser! They had my big order ready right on time (I called a few hours early to order), helped me carry it out, labeled all the bags, and sent plenty of red and green salsa (very important!). I love this local, non-chain spot for tacos and more.“

He is very great at anticipating my needs and I don't have to explain what I want he already knows. His personality is funny and he always lifts me up when I've had a hard day. This is my favorite restaurant to go to.“
