“The booth was clean but needs a deep clean. It had a residue and smelled funny. The same goes for the high chair. But our service was a very nice lady. She accommodated and brought my child's food first so she would be occupied while hubby and I figured out what we wanted. The appetizer came out hot and was delicious. The food came out and, besides the fries, was yummy. We ordered a burger, chicken, and pastas. Only downside was the cold fries. They were rubbery, chewy, and cold. We didn't see our server for a while but did let her know when she came back around. She brought out some fresh ones but I ended up just taking them home at that point. We were already ready for our check.“

“We came for a late breakfast on a weekday. The food was tasty, the service was awesome and the atmosphere relaxed.I had the ultimate breakfast burrito and took a little less than half home for the next day.Hubby had biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. He loved it all.We returned again a couple of days later to get food. Hubby had the French toast and was very happy with it. I had a Philly steak sandwich. It was delicious. I had to stop eating the bread so I could finish the fries and the steak. The service both days was fantastic. They refilled our drinks, brought extra napkins without our asking for them, and asked if we needed anything several times.Parking: There is a large number of spots, however they fill up quickly.Kid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly place. They serve kid meals and plenty of other kid friendly optionsWheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access into the restaurant. However to maneuver around the place is a tight fit.“

“Excellent food and Tyler delivered on customer service - we were well cared for. Three dishes stood out - Maine diver scallops (cooked perfect with a light sear), the bacon wrapped onions (tasty and different) and then the butterscotch pudding (absolutely decadent). Tony, our sommelier was knowledgeable and kept us "poured". Must mention the filet was cooked to perfection and was flavorful so no need for a sauce. Thanks Grace for hitting it out of the park for us!“

“Met a friend here for lunch. Had to ask to be moved to a different table because there was FREEZING cold air blowing hard on our table. Our server was fine, but I had the smoked chicken salad- I asked if there were any onions and she said no. The salad was covered in so many onions I could not pick them all out, this really ruined my lunch.“

“Unique Game Meats in a Stellar Setting! If you’re in Fort Worth and looking for a dining experience that's both unique and satisfying, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro should be at the top of your list! This restaurant, nestled in the historic Stockyards, not only offers a great ambiance but an exceptional menu, especially when it comes to game meats. The elk sliders are a must-try. Perfectly cooked to tender, juicy perfection, these sliders come on delightfully fresh buns that complement the rich flavor of the meat without overpowering it. Each bite is a harmonious blend of smoky and savory, with just the right touch of seasoning.Another standout is the kangaroo carpaccio. It’s not something you commonly find on menus, even in a city known for its culinary adventures. The kangaroo is prepared with a masterful balance of spices that enhance its naturally robust flavor, making it a dish that adventurous eaters will particularly appreciate.Service at Lonesome Dove is as impressive as the food. The staff is knowledgeable, eager to share recommendations, and always attentive without being intrusive. In summary, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro offers a distinctive menu that sets it apart in the Fort Worth dining scene. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot promises a memorable meal with standout dishes like the elk sliders and kangaroo carpaccio. Highly recommend for an adventurous palate!“

“They did a magnificent job transforming this location from the "Snooty Pig". It is decorated like a 4-star plus restaurant you'd see in a nice area in a big city. We were there at dinner time on a Friday night. It was very slow, surprisingly. If it was in a different location, the bar would be full of people! We had a family of 5 eat two appetizers, the spinach-artichoke dip and the clams. They were both amazing. I used all the bread and ordered more just to soak up the juices and sauce. We thought they were just a bit overpriced by about $2-$3 each. We ordered the Ribeye, the Sirloin, and the Seafood Pasta. It was all very good. My only issue was pricing. The location and average pricing compared to other restaurants of the same caliber makes me believe they are slightly higher priced by $4-$6 per main dish. My daughter got the chicken strips. They were so huge and of great quality. The sweet tea was refreshing. However, it had a weird after taste. The wait staff were good, especially when we had to send the sirloin back because it wasn't medium. It came out very "blue". They recooked it perfectly. We will definitely be back when we have a little higher budget and want good food!“

“Easy 5 stars here. There was zero wait. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and on Saturday night they got us right in. Please note they were busy too.I had the kabob with rice and my wife had a burger and we shared a baked potato. That is the best baked potato I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is wonderful. So many things to look at. My favorite part was the bucket of toy soldiers and a sign that said to take one and put it somewhere and when you see it pray for our military and service members. If you are ever in the area stop by! It is worth your time and money.“

“We dined here for the first time before a concert at Dickie's arena and thought it was one of the very best meals we have ever had. The hospitality was on point from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. Because we knew we were going to indulge in dessert, we didn't order starters, but fully enjoyed the complimentary basket of fresh-baked muffins and bread. I decided on the carne asada with enchiladas for dinner and my husband couldn't resist ordering the chicken fried steak. Bring your appetite, because the portion sizes are huge! The food is absolutely delicious! Ordering from the dessert tray wasn't easy because everything looked amazing and our server's descriptions made our mouth's water. I ordered the West Texas pecan pie and my husband had the banana pudding. Both were out of this world! Definitely save room for dessert. You won't be disappointed!“

“Went in for our first time on Sunday 4/21 for brunch. Added our family to the waitlist online which was game changer. We were seated promptly about 15 minutes upon arrival. The host was very sweet, she had short, dark hair but I can’t remember her name. The atmosphere was really cool, and our server, Molly was the best! Our food was delicious, the wait was a little longer but that’s expected with how busy they were. The host sent over a strawberry shortcake pancake on the house which was so kind and made our day. Everything was absolutely delicious! The mimosas were great, and overall we just had such a wonderful experience. Our new family favorite brunch spot!“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty. She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“My family took me tonight for Mother’s Day celebration. The food was fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese appetizers were amazing. The chicken fried steak was so good. I see why it was voted best in FW. Margaritas were quite good. The server we had was not good. We were there 16 minutes and had to flag someone down. Then he was one of the worst servers I have had. He finally brought our drinks and took our order but we had to flag someone for refills or anything else we needed. He didn’t check on us until a while after we finished eating. I understand being busy but he didn’t seem to care. I have to say food was worth it though.“

“My husband and I moved here just over a year ago. We’re still trying all the local favorites, today I stopped by K-Pop Burgers. I was reading the menu, and the gentleman behind the counter said I can read that or he is happy to tell me about it. I let him give his recommendations, I got the number 4, and my husband got the number 17. So thankful for his recommendations, because holy COW. This is QUALITY food. I was impressed with the quality of food. We will be back time and time again. So delicious. The fries were the best fries I have ever had, and I do consider myself a fry connoisseur! Funny television shows we’re playing in the background, and I just enjoyed the whole thing while I waited on my order. SO lovely. It’s a mom and pop style place, lots of tables for families, and a great kids menu as well. Hope you stop by and try it yourself, because I know I will be back!!“

“If you are looking for a retro diner with checkered floors and waitresses who call you “baby”, then this the place! On a Sunday, I didn’t have to wait long for a table for two and once we ordered the food came out hot and fast. The Texas shaped waffles are such a classic, I loved it. The scrambled eggs were okay, the bacon was crispy, but the hash browns (not pictured) were not crispy, and that’s okay! Still a good classic breakfast, I can’t complain.“
