“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“

“Well played out design, and so many different items to choose from. I've not tried anything from their kitchen menu but everything from the bakery has been amazing. The almond croissant has some weight to it! By far the best in town. Guava empanada was also great. Different dough than usually (more like a puff pastry than pie) but I was 't mad at it! Only mad I didn't grab more!“

“Always a fan of Baklovah for their desserts and cookies. The cookies are good gifting options for guests visiting San Antonio. Tried their Russian Honey cake which was so overly sweet and perfect for 1 person. Their desserts range has increased over the years“

“Chocolate, peanut butter and apple are really good. The coconut not so good. Gaggy sweet, lacking a true coconut flavor and skimpy on the filling and topping. Another comment— the pies could be filled higher since the dome covers are able to allow for it.“

“One of the best and unique local bakeries in town. Located in a historic area near Fort Sam, the place itself is very cozy and inviting. The pastries are outstanding! All unique and so tasty. Very traditional but with modern twists. The coffee is perfect, as well. The cappuccino was excellent, too. The staff member when we visited was so helpful and friendly. Do yourself a solid and check them out. Support local and Enjoy.“

“We had the biscuits and gravy, brisket brisket, crumble cake, a dirty chai tea, and another coffee. Wow!!! Their biscuits are jumbo biscuits. They are amazing! The crumble cake is something I will have to search them down for periodically (I only ordered because of suggestion and I’m so very thankful!) I love the owners energy! I can’t wait to eat there again!!“

“I will definitely go back for more! Two tacos for less than $4 Wow! I usually buy a bacon & egg taco & a bean & cheese taco for breakfast. These were delicious & the bean & cheese taco was a big fat taco. I’m glad to finally see that, because it’s probably one of the cheapest taco to make, but not all places make it this way. The flour tortillas are big n fluffy too! Gotta try more food here! Beautiful pan dulce in the case also. Lots of items to taste.“

“So the attorney I work for his birthday is January 6, and I forgot to order his cake early in the week, so I placed the order Thursday afternoon and Devon promised that he would have it ready Friday, and I was so appreciative that he was able to accommodate me with my order. The staff is so wonderful and the cake was so delicious. I really liked the ambiance of a small family owned bakery. I highly recommend this bakery, you will not regret it.“

“As a fellow Puerto Rican who desperately misses the flavors of home I was extremely excited and I was NOT let down. The customer service who I think was the "son" was so kind. I do think they may need help eventually in the front because it got a bit busy for one person to get orders out and take them. Prices were reasonable! The corn meal/ harina de maíz was wonderful!!!! I'd love to see them add more to the menu and perhaps add an order of smaller / multiple surullitos since an order for them was just for one large one. Wishing them the best“

“I enjoy coming here when I'm visiting San Antonio. Has a lot of the Filipino staples I miss PLUS some freshly made snacks (siumai, halo halo, Spanish bread, etc). It is a bit more expensive than what I'm used to but still not a bad price.“

If you want fresh "healthy"eating & Non Covid crowded atmosphere then I suggests Broadway Daily Bread. However, this other bakery would not do the special cake topper so our DIL tasked me with finding someone who would do Marshall the fire dog from Paw Patrol. Brittney sculpted Marshall from cake and covered him with fondant icing and decorated him just like the photo I sent her. Our Elena was so thrilled with Marshall and the rest of the family was amazed with how skillfully Brittney had crafted the cake topper. 5 starts for Cosmic Cakery!“

“The best bakery I have yet to find in San Antonio. My wife and I have been stopping by whenever we were in town, but now that we live 5 minutes away, we will become regulars. “Delicious baklava and lacy spun sugar cookies (no flour). Delicious bread that when cut opened like pita bread and made two sandwiches. We also brought home squares that had cream cheese in the middle and finely grated carrot on top that the gentleman that helped us said to microwave for 15 seconds—our breakfast tomorrow! They have beautiful dates and other treats that we intend to try next month.“
