“This Italian restaurant made my Saturday lunch fantastic! The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, perfect for a midday break. I dove into the chicken arrabiata - wow, the flavors were incredible! It had just the right amount of kick to it! To finish, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of their heavenly Italian cream cake. It was like a dream - creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out for a delightful Saturday lunch!Parking: Shared parking lot with other restaurants in the location.“

“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.“

“Purple Garlic is our hands down favorite Italian restaurant! Coming here is like "Cheers" where when you walk in, "Everyone knows your name" and make you feel right at home. Chris, the manager, is so accommodating and keeps things running smoothly. This restaurant doesn't have an overly extensive menu, but what they have is prepared wonderfully. No matter what we have ordered, it always tastes great! Also, they make one of the best pizzas in San Antonio. Come here and you won't be disappointed!“

“I never really do reviews but I just needed to we moved to the area, and decided to give them a try, the atmosphere is great, the staff, very friendly and kind. The food was really good, we usually get lemon pepper wings and an all meat pizza, great the last three times we've ordered from them. We already loved tanks, but we saw on ksat yesterday that they also scored 100 on their recent inspection, so tanks is our #1 pizza joint now.“
“It was so good! A hidden gem! Please go try them out, it’s worth it! Real authentic food.“

“A quaint Pizza joint that makes tasty pizza! The crust is cooked perfectly and compliments the sauce and toppings. I had the supreme sans olives and my wife had a Canadian bacon with pineapple. Apparently they do make margarita pizza, but wasn't listed in the store. I saw it online.Note that there's no public restrooms, but there's a gas station right next door if the need arises. It wasn't crowded so there were plenty of seats available inside. However we wanted to enjoy the weather that day.Totally recommend!“

“Parking: They have parking the building.Kid-friendliness: There is no play ground but this is not a bar or dive where kids would not be safe.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped enabled parking ?️. One side of the restaurant is Astro up to enter the restaurant and I apologize, I don’t recall a ramp for the secondary entrance. Inside the restaurant there are no obstacles to over come whether it be to accommodate your party or the need to use the facilities.“

“My wife and I ate dinner here for the first time last night. This is an interesting setup, with the left side of the space being Tutto Pepe Osteria, and the right side being Panfila Cantina, a Mexican restaurant. If you know what you are looking for in-person or search, okay, but Google Maps does not initially show Tutto Pepe Osteria. At any rate, we gave it a try and were happy with our first visit. We were greeted nicely at the reception desk and our waitress was very friendly. The food was very good. Not the cheapest around, but nothing is these days. Overall, we were pleased and will be back for another try. Recommended.Parking: Shared lot with many other businesses, but no issues finding a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues getting from parking into the restaurant.“

“The food and atmosphere are great!!! For the service though, well its just pure Awesomeness makes the food and atmosphere even better. The server was very attentive and very happy to see us, well at least i felt that way. Then well, we got our food, eggplant parm and pizza!!! My pizza came out in my opinion very very good. The chef on the other hand didnt like what he sent out but probably didnt want us waiting longer, not that we were waiting long at all. He sent out another pizza and apologized for the "burnt" pizza, which it wasnt. Well i did accept the pizza cause the first one delicious and they insisted. So i was more than happy with eveything and definitely gonna get back in going there regularly even though I don't live close anymore.“

“Highly recommend this spot. We ordered breadsticks as our appetizer. My husband ordered the 10 inch pothole pizza, and I got the calzone with mushrooms and artichokes. Everything was awesome. The service was great as well as the food. It wasn't busy at all, so our food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.“

“On a road trip, my daughter and I saw the pizza photos on Maps and had to try. So we drove 20 minutes out of the way for pizza and it was worth it. The crust was crispy, perfectly cooked, good sauce and right amount of cheese. She got the chicken pesto pizza and I got the meat lovers. It's more expensive, but we stop at random places all the time and Sapores Pizza is worth it.“

“My two friends and I came here tonight after going to the Majestic. I had wanted to try it for a long time and since it was part of culinaria week, we made a reservation. The food was delicious, our server Adrian G. Was great! He was attentive, gave us some great recommendations and was very friendly. I highly recommend the Lemon-chillo drink, the eggplant parmigiana was very good too. One of my friends had the pear salad and one had the meatballs, they really liked their meals as well. The bathrooms were very clean also. If I would have any complaint it did get a little loud as it filled up. The parking was not free, I don’t mind paying for parking when downtown, and it wasn’t that expensive but it was not user friendly to pay for the parking and I had to try several times in the freezing cold to get it to work.“

“Came here for an anniversary sometime last year, I forgot to ever write a review! The service and atmosphere was great, though empty at the time we went in. I got the mushroom risotto and was IN LOVE with it. Dessert was wonderful as well, and while a little pricey I definitely think this has to be one of the better Italian places in San Antonio!“

“I ordered the chicken with pasta, lemon, butter, capers, and Parmesan. I enjoyed the entree. I ordered the tiramisu, which I did not enjoy; it was too dry and whatever the creamy was substance on top, it was too much. I would return though, since it was my first time there.“

“Food was good and the service was great! I just feel it is priced a little high for what you get. Not exactly an Italian restaurant environment. Fun family environment on the patio. I was there for lunch with my family and didn't try any of the drinks.Kid-friendliness: Area out back of patio for kids to play and run.Wheelchair accessibility: Front of restaurant has a wheelchair ramp. Didn't take note of the bathrooms.“

“We finally got fed up with the Olive Garden close to our house (horrible customer service and always out of products) and decided to visit this one. This is now our go to Olive Garden, our waiter was amazing he was on it and the place was so clean and all of the staff were friendly.“

“This should be a 1-star rating. Lunch time on a Saturday, not crowded and dining in. Our pizza never arrived after almost an hour. After inquiring about the delay we learn our pizza has been in a warmer waiting on the eggplant parmesan we ordered to take with us when we leave, WTF??!! Others who came in long after us received their order and finished their meal. We asked for a fresh pizza, didn’t want the one that had been in the warmer for almost an hour. We gave up after waiting another 30 min, and no pizza and no comp for any part of our $43 meal. We got a refund and left hungry after waiting 1 1/2 hrs. We are very disappointed.“
