I had the Chicken Marsala-it was superb, our guests had the burgers and my wife, who has celiac, was able to order a burger and capresie salad off the menu and their kitchen is well versed in ensuring there's no cross contamination. Great atmosphere, live music, superior service, and the best food in Lubbock. Get over there now!Dietary restrictions: As I mentioned, my wife is celiac and the server was very well educated on allergies and their procedures. “I have to commend Chris the manager. My family and I eat at this location quite often. The food is always up to par and the wait staff is always incredible. On my most recent pick up order, I arrived home to find my down and dirty chicken strips without any ranch dressing. Anybody that has eaten at Caprock knows that the ranch is incredible, so I was a little disappointed. I gave the restaurant a call and was passed off to Chris the restaurant manager. Chris expressed his sincerest apologies for forgetting the ranch and offered to remake my food if I wanted to come back and get that. Not only did Chris make remake my order but he also remade my other two entrées as well. He came out, and personally gave me my new order and again apologized for the inconvenience. After having many bad experiences with restaurants in this town, Chris and his staff further show why we eat at Caprock Cafe as much as we do.“

This is the 4th time we've gotten food from Bonus Burger over the last few months, and each time, everything was perfect. We all like our hamburger/cheese burgers a little differently, but they got it right every time. Plus, I can honestly say, I don't even feel the need to check the bag to see if it's all in there/the right order. Anywhere else these days, that's a must do.The food is consistently prepared with generous proportions. The hamburger patty actually tastes like beef and is still a 1/2" thick even after being cooked. It has always been juicy and delicious, not a dry one yet. “We love Blue sky but it is basically a self serve place. You pay and no one asks if you need anything or if your food order was ok. It is so very expensive to eat there and you basically receive no customers service..we keep going back because the food is good. But at least Sonic sends someone around to see if you need anything we ordered chilli cheese fries, 3 hamber steak plates and 4 drinks for over $80.00. That a lot for no service.“
“We have been wanting to try Lubbock's Breakfast House & Grill on University for awhile now so we took a shot and my, my, my! We were not disappointed! From the service, to the food, to the cleanliness. Our experience was a great one. We were so impressed we went two days in a row and both days were equally enjoyable! Gloria and Demi, our servers, were really sweet and attentive. Those ladies work their tails off making sure everyone is well taken care of. They kept our coffee cups topped off and hot, as was our food. The only exception being the biscuits and gravy which were cold when we got them which they rectified, not enough to deduct a star in my opinion. Try the Pork chop and eggs with the home fried potatoes, the Chicken biscuits and gravy, or the Ham, green chili and cheese omelette. They were all delicious! “I'd had a bit of a crummy afternoon, and there was a wreck on the Loop 289 access road. I decided that was a good time for a burger, so we went to Red Robin. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant manager and seated right away. Dawn was our server, and she is the absolute best. She brought out a side of oranges for our loudly hungry kiddos before our food came out (which came out hot and very quickly too!), and we had refills immediately. I don't normally eat inside food establishments due to my dog traveling everywhere with me but when I'm able to eat inside the restaurant is always clean. Our kids loved it and ate almost everything on their plate, which is a major win. The green beans were insanely good but all of the sides looked incredible. Lots of different condiments to go with the chicken. If I were to have any negative criticism it would be that I thought the chicken could've benefited from a little more flaky salt out of the fryer.
