“We had finished our shopping at the market and wanted lunch.First you have to know the portions are HUGE.. the pictures don't do it justice. More food than we could actually eat.I had the chicken Udon bowl. It had good flavor, the sauce was a bit sweeter than I like, but it was still very very good. The chicken pieces were awesome... even though it was a bit sweeter than I like, I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. My son got a bento box with eel and pork belly..He was very excited about everything and thought it was really good, even though he wasn't sure what all of it was.My wife had the rice bowl with the Japanese Tonkatsu Curry (not pictured). She thought the flavor was awesome. We would definitely return.“
“I got yellow curry chicken. It was sooo good...I think the best I've ever had! I brought leftovers home but just kept nibbling it because it was so good. This is a small spot with only 4-5 tables inside. They did have have people coming in & out for pick-up.“
“Very delicious high end sushi here at reasonable prices. Very impressed by the nigiri style sushi here as the fish was excellent quality. I had Blue Fin Tuna, Yellowtail, and Sea Bream and they were all very delicious! I would say it’s better than Itto Sushi for the sushi quality level. Very happy to finally try the food here and will be back for sure“
“Wish I could offer 6 stars! Our sever, Cinco, made some excellent recommendations. We primarily stuck to Tapas and enjoyed the following:Tuna Tataki, Pork Belly, Lollipop Lamb Chops (wow!!), Wagyu Crostini ( wow again) and the unexpected and least expensive Hamachi, which is the jaw of a Yellowfin Tina over a spring greens with a balsamic....to die for!Very reasonable prices and outstanding service. If you are anywhere near the Cottonwood area, I highly recommend eating here. The whole staff was amazing and well beyond the typical service one receives these days!“
“The Koa Soi is unbelievably good. The flavors of their dishes are next level. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: I’m a pescatarian and they have great options!Kid-friendliness: We’ve brought our toddler both times, and the environment is hip and welcoming.“
“We really enjoyed our evening. We ordered 2 or 3 items at a time til we were full. Not rushed, great knowledge of the menu. Fun intimate atmosphere bit a little noisy sometimes.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable. He brought my husband the sauces on the side that I couldn't have. It was a great experience on 700 east.“
“This place is chic, service is exceptional and sushi is fresh and delicious. We ordered toro sashimi, Stargazer and mercury roll, but when the toro came it was a grayish white color which had us worried. Everyone who loves sushi knows that Toro is supposed to be pink... but the waitress was really really helpful. She not only asked the kitchen staff about the reason for the color, she also returned the dish back to the kitchen after we said we didn't want it. We then ordered a wagyu steak fearing for their fish quality, but the rest of the sushi rolls were amazing with big chunks of juicy sashimi inside. I'm pretty sure Stargazer had bluefin tuna on the topping. The wagyu was delicious as well. cooked to perfection for both the meat and the lightly battered tempura asparagus. Over all pretty satisfying experience. I hope the toro sashimi was just a random error. Coming back to try more next time!“
“I had never heard of this place and was excited to try it out. It’s a beautiful restaurant on the inside, very nicely decorated. Each table has its own space and there were some larger rooms for bigger groups. The staff were incredible. They’re driving the 5-stars as the food was decent, but nothing too impressive. The egg drop soup was hot but lacked any kind of flavor. The edamame needed to be steamed for a few more minutes as half were still cold and very few popped open very well. The sushi rolls were pretty solid. Nothing glaringly wrong with them and we ate all of the rolls we ordered. The kung pao chicken was very salty, borderline inedible. The fried rice with it was delicious as were the gyoza and the egg roll.“
“I love it here. I wanted to try something different somewhere different and found this and boy am I so dang glad I did. The food here is DELICIOUS. I'm leaving this review after the second time coming back to this restaurant and I want to come twice a month now ?. The service??? Awesome. Very polite, very quick, very friendly. The decor? Adorable. My hubby and I spend about 50-60$ but mind you, that's two people together. We share an appetizer, we get our own sushi rolls and our own main dish plus drinks. (We like the eat). I recommend this place anyday. Definitely worth your money“
“I've been searching for a sugarcane drink place in Utah for a really long time. Not only was this drink authentic but tasted very similar to how my hometown in Vietnam used to make it. It was very nostalgic and brought back a lot of memories from my childhood. This is very convenient knowing I no longer have to travel to Cali to get sugarcane since this location is 10 minutes from my house. I also recommend their spring rolls/egg rolls, chicken rice plate, and flan cake:)“
“Chopfuku Sushi is my favorite sushi restaurant in town. This place is one of the best I have ever had. They are unique and take pride in their craft. I have been impressed with their staff. Toh and his team really know how to make a special occasion ever better. They can become a high-end sushi place or just have chill date night with wife. Nevertheless, I heard about their new location opening up, I am excited to go there also. This isnt the place you go once. This is the type of place where you go at least once a month to enjoy. ITS a LIFESTYLE!“
“Hold your breath, close your eyes...Imagine a place where you can get Thai food that makes you weep tears of joy. The curry sings to your soul, and the noodles glisten in the light as they dance on the plate. Open your eyes now, and you're in Tuk Tuk's. This place offers an amazing variety of REALLY good food that will make you pause and think, "what have I done in my insignificant life to deserve this glorious food?!"Go there, go ahead, try anything you want, and it'll be amazing. You don't even have to eat! Just walk in if you want and breath deeply in the spicy and flavorful aroma. I had the Thai coffee and massaman curry, and it was divine. I also shared an appetizer of egg rolls that were fantastic! So what are you waiting for? Why are you sitting here reading this review? Get over to Tuk Tuk's, give the waiter a hug, and prepare your body for Thai Heaven!“
“BEST POKE BOWL IN ALL OF UTAH! You can't go wrong with FreshFin. Looking for a FRESH, filling poke bowl? Look no further. I have been to FreshFin so many times since they opened up. Their poke bowls are jam packed with fresh ingredients such as brown rice, vegetables, chicken, poke, salmon, fried onion, and more. Not only that, their flavors are right on point. I always get the Spicy Tuna bowl. I've had the mango tango before which is also very good, but the Spicy Tuna Bowl always hits the spot. I usually get it with half greens half brown rice as my base, and then it comes with ahi tuna, edamame, crispy onion, sriracha aioli, tobiko, sweet shoyu sauce, jalapeño, and cucumber. This bowl has a "kick", but it is sooooo worth it!! If it gets too spicy then sometimes I will pick out some of the jalapeños. ANYWAY, the buildout for this restaurant is awesome. It's new, fresh, modernly tasteful, and welcoming! The staff is always so friendly and they make their bowls quite quickly. I think I'ave been to this restaurant 15 times (between the two locations) and I will be coming back as long as they're still open! At the end of the day, prices are definitely high, but I often have leftovers!“
“What One does better than other SLC ramen spots: (1) great sear on the chashu pork, creating a variety of textures from crunchy to melt-in-your-mouth tender, (2) perfectly cooked jammy eggs, not just half but one whole one!, (3) amazing marinade on the karaage, very gingery and moist thigh meat, (4) pleasant pace of service, (5) not as crowded as, say, JINYA. What could be better: richer tonkotsu broth.“
“I was recommended to go to Curry Fried Chicken, and omg the fried chicken here is the best fried chicken I have ever had. The spices for the fried chicken were amazing. Bonus there is a parking lot. There was 1 lady taking orders and 1 lady cooking. It really is the best fried chicken ever!! If you're in salt lake city downtown you HAVE to get this chicken!!!“
“Tai pho was amazing especially with the chili oil. Moscow mule was yummy. Price was good for everything but be expected to wait 30+ min for food, which was odd as there wasn’t anybody in the restaurant but a lot of take out orders that they seemed to make a priority like previous reviews mentioned.“
“This time, we tried the citrus slaw, nam spring rolls, and filet mignon pho, all of which were delicious. We’ve been to Saola several times and it’s always a great experience with its stylish atmosphere, fresh and flavorful food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended.“
“Great date night, unique place to take guests and plenty of space yet private enough to have conversation or bring the whole family. The owner/ chef was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. The shelves had in season/ fresh produce. The sea bass and chicken dishes were amazing. It was beautiful presented. Very reasonably priced. We are already looking forward to going back. Also classes are taught there and you can buy sauces and spices.“
“First time dining in, but ordered on door dash many times. My favorite chicken teriyaki in SLC and the spicy Miso ramen was also very good. Perfect serving size and priced fairly, it's one of my regular spots to eat when I'm craving a teriyaki rice bowl!“
“Fantastic Dining Experience at Charlie Chow’s Dragon GrillI recently dined at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. I began with the appetizers and indulged in the Szechuan dumplings and pot stickers, both of which were absolutely delicious. In particular, the pot stickers stood out as some of the best I’ve had in Salt Lake City.Moving on to the grill, I was blown away by the variety of flavor combinations and the freshness of the ingredients. Each bite was a burst of tantalizing flavors, and I found myself impressed with every dish I tried.Overall, my experience at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill was nothing short of fantastic. The attentive service, delectable appetizers, and mouthwatering grill options have left me eager to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!“
“Second time here and honestly this is one of the better ramen places here. The menu is limited but that's a good sign because the care they put into the menu items is obvious. Compared to another new ramen spot this one blows it out of the water with the balance of flavor, noodles, meat, and the crunch from veggies without having to pay for extra toppings. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant was extremely warm though which made it uncomfortable while eating hot soup. The chicken karage was juicy with lots of plump pieces. Parking is plentiful due to the fact it's in a strip mall and there's plenty of seating.“
“Enjoyed this establishment with a very large smile because the food is absolutely on point with tastefully seasoned fresh and made from experience food with a foundation of a professional attitude and demeanor from all involved , in addition to the timely efforts of those who have delivered .. 5 stars hands down .. well “
“They’ve been here for YEEEAAARRRSSS! And I only know about them from my mom, she use to bring us here since they first opened. But now my mom is no longer here with us but we(my husband and I)come here at least once a week and they have never disappointed! My husband is from San Francisco and he said since being in Utah this is by far the best Chinese “fast food” spot he’s been to. Big portions and the workers are super nice and friendly especially the lady that’s usually always there. My favorite is the rice noodles and their orange chicken is?“
“This is a great no-frills Korean restaurant. The food is delicious and full of flavor. The tteokbokki in particular was amazing and we loved the dolsot bibimbap and the spicy pork bibimbap. The service is where this place really stands out though. We were running late one evening and needed to grab food quick. They were busy during the dinner rush, but still did their best to get our food out asap—in less than 10 minutes! And everything was delicious as usual. Love this place!“
