“Awesome Shoyu and Tsukemen ramen, probably the best in Utah. Usually need to wait if you're not getting here right at opening especially on a weekend night. Would love to see their menu rotate in the future and add on some Shio or Tonkotsu. Also would be nice to have some weather protection out front for all the people waiting to eat.“
“An amazing noodle bar, their Ramen is great and their Rice bowls are flavorful, I love how they prepare their pork chashu makes it melt like butter and taste as sweet as candy, I'd recommend going to any of their branches in the valleyParking: It's right by the store and it's free“
“Hamachi was a delicious experience. Opportunities to watch the chefs make the sushi or be seated at a table which offers more privacy. The sushi rolls include generic/traditional styles and specialized creations from the chefs at the restaurant. The hot entrees are delicious as well - I've had both the Pork Katsu and Tonkotsu ramen. The sake selection was also impressive, others in my party had the yuzu margarita which was also yummy. The experience is similar both for takeout and dine in (this review is written after multiple visits)- give it a try if you're in the mood for Japanese food in SLC!“
“What One does better than other SLC ramen spots: (1) great sear on the chashu pork, creating a variety of textures from crunchy to melt-in-your-mouth tender, (2) perfectly cooked jammy eggs, not just half but one whole one!, (3) amazing marinade on the karaage, very gingery and moist thigh meat, (4) pleasant pace of service, (5) not as crowded as, say, JINYA. What could be better: richer tonkotsu broth.“
“We found this place looking for an alternative to the trendy, overpriced, and overrated sushi places we typically go to in Salt Lake City.So happy we did. This place is a gem, with outstanding quality and attention to details, all at a reasonable price. The service was exceptional too.I did not try the ramen, but I strongly recommend the sushi / sashimi, which is possibly the best I have ever had. This is definitely worth the slightly longer drive, and we will come back.“
“Their fried chicken sandwiches are so yummy but I just can’t justify $9 for 2 small sandwiches. Definitely wish either more little sandwiches for that price or lower the price. The fried rice is really good and noodles. Those are definitely priced correctly.“
“The menu is very diverse, ramen, Thai curry, Korean galbitang, AND sushi? And service is good - they work the front of house staff hard, but are rewarded in turn with great service.Food itself is not particularly memorable tho, which is always a hazard when your menu is so ambitious.Parking: Tons of parking.“
“The ramen soup is delicious, although they serve you less than the ones at One noddle, but it is good... The downside is that the menu has no price on many of the things it offers.... The good thing is that they always have beer and sake....“
“Okay this place is amazing. I absolutely loved this little gem. It has the best ren I have ever had. The staff were wonderful, food came out quick, and everything else was freaking amazing.I would love to come here again and again and again but I just found out they are closing! In two days! It just breaks my heart. If you are reading this May 27th 2023, you need to go there tomorrow May 28th 2023. You literally have one chance till this place is gone. You will regret not going!“
“Second time here and honestly this is one of the better ramen places here. The menu is limited but that's a good sign because the care they put into the menu items is obvious. Compared to another new ramen spot this one blows it out of the water with the balance of flavor, noodles, meat, and the crunch from veggies without having to pay for extra toppings. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant was extremely warm though which made it uncomfortable while eating hot soup. The chicken karage was juicy with lots of plump pieces. Parking is plentiful due to the fact it's in a strip mall and there's plenty of seating.“
“Greatest Ramen bar in all of Utah! The owner was very accommodating and personable. Food was prepared quickly with great care and pride. And it was awesome! Definitely a great place to eat and hang out. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.“
“Updated review:We love the food here. They've expanded their menu and now have several vegan options, which is fantastic since my daughter is vegan and it's not easy finding restaurants we all like.I tried her vegan ramen with impossible meat last time we ate here, and it was amazing, with a true savory flavor. My son loves the spicy chicken ramen with a seasoned egg. I love the mini tuna tacos. The place is still cramped and very loud. They turn the music up, I think so you can't hear others' conversations, but it just means you can't hear your own conversation either. I'm not a fan of running elbows with strangers, but it's a small space so there's not much they can do.Original review:I'd have given this place 5 stars a year ago, because their ramen is fantastic, and they have a varied menu. But they're still closed for indoor dining! Their space is small, and the tables are crowded together, so it's probably not financially profitable to offer dine-in with social distancing. And yet every other restaurant has opened back up. We have safety protocols in place; people are getting vaccinated. There is no reason this place needs to remain closed. It's bad customer service. We got takeout ramen from them once during the pandemic, and the broth was cold by the time we got home. It also took forever to pick up because they're not well organized. If they don't open soon, I'm giving up on the place.“
“The appetizers were good, we ordered the chicken teriyaki and spring rolls. Chicken tasted great but the portion was a little small even for an app, the spring rolls were nice and crispy. The tonkotsu ramen was just okay. The broth could've been more flavorful and they only give you half an egg which seems a little stingy. But overall a decent bowl of ramen for $13. The atmosphere inside is very simple. Cheap chairs and tables and no artwork or decor on the walls. The service was good and food came out quickly. Overall I'd come back and try more dishes but this won't be a regular spot for me.“
“Delicious rolls, smaller selection than some. Atmosphere is great, was nice enough for a nice date but casual enough for us girls after an evening ice skating to celebrate a child’s birthday. Service was slower than anticipated we were seated at the next table over from a rowdy crowd, I realize I had teen girls with me but it was a little much to be next over from like 10-12 rowdy 20-something’s when there was plenty of space to be a bit spread out. Birthday celebrating was cute and the ladies who helped us were really nice.“
“I love this place! I go at lunch and we are immediately seated. The food is fantastic. I love that I have the choice of sushi and/or Ramen. Their chicken katsu curry Ramen and their Kimchi Ramen are amazing! We needed a good Ramen house closer to us, and here it is. Others in the area aren't as good.“
“Comfy, cozy and DELICIOUS. We went for the nostalgia as my husband used to go with his family 20+years ago. Everything we had was tastier than he remembered, and it was his family's favorite back in the day. So so good. We'll be back for more soon!“
“Great tasting food, quick and efficient service. This is my husband and I's favorite and go to spot for ramen. My personal favorite is the chicken curry katsu ramen. We also tried their bulgogi fries and it was delicious. All around great experience as always.“
“I’ve been wanting to come here for a while, and it did not disappoint! Both ramens we ordered were amazing (Tonkatsu & Kimchi), and the Chili Beef Dumplings were even better. I definitely plan on coming back to try their other dishes.“
“We've only done takeout from Yoko, but the food was wonderful! The gyoza is homemade and DIVINE--don't miss it! The chicken ramen is also stellar. Although the pork was the low point for us, it was still well above average by the standards of ramen in the U.S. We arrived at close so the staff was pretty distracted. Wish there'd been a bit more warmth in our interactions, but can't wait to go back and get the full (dine-in) experience soon!“
“Jinya just kills it with their chashu! It is smoky and perfectly tender every time. Its consistently the best I've had in the area.I love to get the "Sprouting Up" ramen. It's no longer on the menu, but they'll happily make it for you. The fried brussels sprouts in it are delicious. This is a larger location than the one in Murray, so it's a good choice if you'd like a better chance of getting a seat!“
“A wonderful noodle restaurant! A nice variety of dishes. Fast and friendly service. Delicious noodle dishes; hot and very tasty!Parking: Parking lot is shared with other businesses but with patience, there's a space.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample tables for a wheelchair customer. Didn't use the restroom to substantiate handicap accommodatng.“
