“Very nice hometown coffee shop! Just moved to the area so we always look for a local coffee shop and this is our favorite! They roast the coffee in house and it is super smooth, no bite! They also carry several Gluten Free baked goods which is a plus for us as well. Didn't realize they had Gluten free items until our 3rd trip in, look closely at the chart on the case or just ask. Super friendly staff, very helpful, all around great place! Cool fact, the building was built in 1787, plaque on front, which makes it one of the oldest downtown! Highly recommend!!”

“I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff. Half the time we go everything is great, but the other half we get a server who insists on cooking the meat for us. *Every time* the server handles meat it ends up over cooked or messed up.
I wouldn't mind them cooking if they did it correctly or even just asked how we wanted it cooked. However it ends up feeling like we're being rushed and micromanaged which is just not fun. Lastly, today our server told us that we can't salt the meat on the grill because it causes grease fires. Aside from that being incorrect, she kept putting the meat on the grill immediately so we didn't even get a chance to do that beforehand. I'm well aware that other people put sauce on the pans which you're not supposed to, and maybe she was confused about that.
Given the difference in service every time we go I guess there's some differing info on what they're supposed to do, but it's unclear which way is the right one.
As for the food, it's been improving which is nice considering it didn't start out bad at all. We'll definitely keep coming here but hopefully the management can get the servers on the same page in the future.”

“Today, on this dreary Thanksgiving morning, I met a sweet old lady that was at this location to pick up her order that she placed in person. She said she tried to call several times and this location never picked up so she wasn’t sure if they were open. She was understandably a little perturbed. While she waited, we conversed about her husband, who passed within the last year, and their time overseas as a military family. The manager brought out her order, thanked her for her patience and told her, “It’s been taken care of.” It was such a kind gesture and took the old lady by surprise. It was outstanding service and such a kind act! The manager relayed to me, when I expressed my admiration for the kind gesture, that she and her staff are affected by those customers that have not been to the location (in a while) due to a partner’s passing. So it is her hope that she will be inspired (by this gesture) to come by more often. In addition to this kind gesture, my food was great! Omelette was on point, pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I would highly recommend this warm atmosphere, kind service providers and tasty food!”

Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. “3/5 is what I would give it….first time we tried it a year ago and couldn’t get service. We tried brunch today and even though they had several people you could see that worked there primarily only Brandon did any work for the first hour. Brandon took care of the 5 tables in the outdoor seating. One girl wiped 4 seats and tables of pollen then left. Another girl was drinking her coffee. Another guy made a pitcher for a customer that just walked in when 5 tables 30 minutes in were still waiting on their drinks and food orders to be taken. The bar seats were covered still in pollen. One brunch menu given to only 2 people 🤦♀️🤣 The menus had stains and were sticky. There is black mold all over the outdoor canopy. The napkin dispensers were dirty. We got the $13 Bloody Mary’s which were good but the slider was cold and a bit dry and so was the rib that came on it. I got the brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese which were good. My husband got the tacos which he liked. The coke was flat, no paper towels in the ladies bathroom and cobwebs on the mirror. The food is good, the lack of help from those there was not ok…Brandon did the best he could so thanks Brandon! Management needs to have better training, better coverage, and better cleaning. I’m in no rush to go back. Perhaps take out. It’s sad as it’s a beautiful old building and outdoor area has so much potential. You were not prepared to have brunch.”

“Fish and grill really changed, since I last visited, some 5 years ago. The parking lot is kind of crowded- I didn't expect that to change in a strip zoned for businesses. But it's clean. They would do well to have one garbage can outside of the establishment but the sidewalk is narrow. The signage is visible. The restaurant is very open, airy and immaculate. We arrived, intending to eat in the car because we have a toddler with special needs: he's in keg casts. The restaurant had a separate area in the front, near the door that accommodated our needs. We are COVID conscious and wanted to be away from others. The food was fantastic. We had catfish meals and sides that were delicious, hot and arrived in a timely manner. My grandson was having a horrible time sitting and eating: he is in thigh high casts and he was not happy that he couldn't sit by himself or eat properly. He's very active and independent. While sitting in his mom's lap, he urinated through his diaper and down her leg. While we were ready to go back to the car to take everything "to go." Our server, Tiffany, came to the rescue. She went to the car and gave us a diaper he could fit and pants he could wear. I've never seen such a kind gesture at a restaurant. She is a gem. He's newly casted, so we had to buy new diapers (he's potty training but has to go back a few steps to a regular diaper. Tiffany saved the afternoon. I recommend Dish and Grill for the food (it's exemplary), for the ambiance and for kind people like Tiffany; people that really take pride in themselves and pass kindness to others. Thank you, Tiffany I hope and Fish and Grill recognizes your excellence!”

Both dishes were prepared exactly as we asked This is not so common as one would expect among restaurants. The food, particularly the steak, was as good as we have had anywhere and better than most. The baked potato was worth mentioning. It was prepared differently than I have seen elsewhere and it was delicious. My wife's salmon was on a bed of "Hoppin' John", a dish seldom found made of beans and what appeared to be wild rice. I haven't seen it since a native American restaurant in Connecticut. I liked it but my bride was less enthusiastic.\n\nService was excellent. Our server had several tables but she was always there when we wanted her and not there when we didn't.\n\nThe bill was high but not eye-watering so. My steak alone was $60 but in today's world it was not out of line for an upscale restaurant and this is very much so. \n\nOne note on ambiance; there was a large noisy party in progress and they were exiled to a separate room. I for one appreciated that and was not irritated by it. For me, that is unusual.\n\nWe'll be back!”

I never realized that they give you coordinators for your party and we had a young lady by the name of Abigail and when I say she was a life saver I really mean that. She was so informative, professional, caring, accommodating and she just soared in all of those categories. It’s hard to find young employees like her who are so professional in the work place and this location did right hiring her and I hope she sees this and I hope this location knows how lucky they are to have her. She also was very accommodating on a latex allergy my mom has. My mom is extremely and dangerously allergic to latex and she made sure there was no interaction with any latex!”

I just got a basic cheeseburger and I never would’ve thought I was eating the greatest cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my entire life. Better than five guys better than Shake shack better than any fast food chain. Whoever is working the grill deserves a raise because this thing was straight fire.

“This is the most amazing restaurant we’ve ever been in! We were cheerfully greeted by several Hooter’s girls, one of which escorted us to a table. Our server sat down and went over the menu with us. She got the order in quickly, and soon had our meal out to us. She sat down and talked to us with the most fantastic attitude. All of the food was delicious. We noticed how professional and well-organized the General Manager was, and in the middle of our meal he came to our table greeted us and sat down and talked to us.
