“Delicious food. Very busy. Service was a little slow but not much and I think it's because it was prom night. Had the swordfish, which I would recommend, but it is a special so might now always be an offering. The homemade Caesar dressing on the salad was extra yummy. Definitely recommend.“

“One of my favorite lunch meeting spots. Staff is awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.Food selection was good, I would call comfort food. A nice variety, and a nice portion. For me I usually take some home.Fresh cut fries (or chips, not bagged) plenty enough to fill you up.Terrific lunch specials ($5.99 and $7.99). A good variety and again plenty to fill you up.The two hot dogs and fries, and the 1/2 sandwich and soup are my favorites.Nice mellow atmosphere, plenty of room, not too noisy and wheel hair access. Biggest issue is parking, but that is a issue for all downtown. Just avoid driving downtown at high lunchtime hour, hour and a half, and you won't have a problem.Definitely worth a visit, oh yeah. “Their burgers were really good and with a lot of unique combinations. I did order some things deep fried and everything that was, tasted burnt. Not sure if they needed to change their oil or adjust their timers. But they did make it right by giving me something else. Can't be mad about that.“

“I really enjoy this place. Have been a handful of times and I always get the breakfast even if I go at lunch. the biscuits and gravy are delicious and the bacon is crispy and fresh, the pancakes are as big as a plate, my daughter likes the eggs. I haven't had the lunch but it always smells delicious.“

“Ate there today on grand opening day. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fast. I got the Philly chicken with tots and it was a lot more food than I could eat. My hubby got a burger and nephew got the hamburger steak meal which they both bragged about. Can’t wait for our next trip which I hope will be breakfast because Vicky makes the biggest and best biscuits.“

My daughter has catfish coleslaw french fries and hush puppies my son-in-law had a chicken sandwich some kind of Potato Sticks I had a cheeseburger and onion rings the food was by far better than anything I've ever eaten in a while the people were super friendly so courteous definitely recommend if you're in the area! “special chili, cornbread, BLT. cornbread was northern style but the tea was spot on. beans were better than some others I've had recently. sammich had a bug. wall had a Confederate flag sign. "the only reason I have it up there, is some lady gave it to us after her son died." pathetic owner took sammich off bill I look forward to a return visit to see if the tasteless, thoughtless, careless, pride less, value-less decorations are improved. personally I don't care about the bug, I understand, that happens. we need farms, yeah? but it's *checks* it's the year of our Lord 2023 and we should be better than that by now. 12-6-23 ~1pm“

“We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro. Honestly you don't even need to go outside (except under an overhang) to catch the train. We were recognized at the front desk as diamond members, and given a room on an Executive Floor. Wonderful larger than usual room. One limitation was that we hoped to ask our housekeeper for extra decaf coffee in the room, but she did not speak English. She gave us herbal teas instead. We didn't feel strongly enough to pursue it. However, her housekeeping in our room was impeckable. Fresh towels every day! The executive lounge was a welcome respit as usual. I've seen reviews that state that the food was a bit repetitious and boring and sometimes lukewarm. That was true. Yet it was always substantial and we were so thankful for it. It took me a couple days to figure out the expresso machine, but that too we did not ask about. Evening hors d'ouvres were nice to have. We parked on the property and there were no issues. We felt welcome and that they were there to serve us everywhere we went in the hotel. Thank you.“

“We both ordered burgers , the wife had a bacon cheese burger. I had a cheeseburger , and both were excellent bacon was crispy. Burgers were a very nice size cooked perfect ,Our server was great! She was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always full!“
