“Had never been. Went for lunch. Sat outside in enclosed porch. Was very comfortable temperature wise. Hubby got the steak sandwich and I got the Philly. BOTH were excellent. I think the onions gave mine the better flavor. Fries were good but the tater tots were better. Was our first time, but it won't be out last. Recommend Old Oak highly“
“We went there with a group of 19 people. They set up a special area for us, which was great! We had a great time with the wait staff, and they were so friendly. We had fun joking with them as well. They were always checking on us to make sure our drinks were topped off, and to see if we needed anything at all.The food was awesome, and the prices are unbeatable. They are cash-only, so be aware of that when you go there. We will definitely be going back there again soon!“
“Don't let the unkempt exterior, less than perfectly clean interior, or the torn booth benches deter you from eating at Amy's. Prices are real low, the staff's friendly, and the food pretty solid in terms of quantity and taste. The BLT, pinto beans, and homemade cole slaw were A+. Apparently the locals love Amy's - the place was full at noontime.“

“We're enjoying our visits to the Greeneville Moose Lodge! They have a nice restaurant with good food; a fun billiards room; weekly trivia, karaoke, live music, dance lessons, game nights, special events... The building is a little run down; otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars.“

“I had the Hobart Jr (basically a cheeseburger with ham). My wife couldn't decide between the beans or beef stew so she got the "Beans and Stew". Everything was very good and came out fast. Excellent food and service and cheaper than a lot of places we eat. I'm sure this is the first of many visits!“
““A friend recommended “The Whistle Stop” to us and it certainly lived up to its reputation as a must-visit destination for a great steak. The meal was a delight from start to finish, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the soup, salad, and crackers with cheese dip (which was so good we couldn’t stop eating it!). The fried mushroom caps were also a highlight. The steak itself was cooked to perfection and simply melted in our mouths. To top it all off, we indulged in the blackberry cobbler which was out of this world. “Beautiful decor, super service. Long day of driving and just decided to stay at the hotel for dinner. Pork shoulder fell off the bone! Smoked cheese grits with carrots and spinach all just perfect! Started with a "side?" Salad that was a meal in itself! Wonderful meal!“

“Burger was very good and our server was excellent. However, they still allow people to smoke inside at the bar, so if you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke this might not be the place for you. It didn't bother me, but my wife was not a fan.“
“Late at night and me and my daughter went and ate there. Food is typical Waffle House food. Our server Ms Dee was great. Good sense of humor and was on our food quality, refills to go boxes. I would recommend this place and would definitely recommend our server.“
“Took a friend to lunch. She was on a walker. Waited for handicapped parking space to open. There is large step up on one side and ramp on other. Open space was at large step. As I tried to maneuver the walker, a store employee rushed out to help me. And she held the doors for me to get through with my friend. “First time I have been to an Applebees in a very long time. (new to Greeneville - my 1st visit here). Rainy, Friday nite around 6pm. The place was packed. I wanted a seat at the bar. I managed to squeeze thru people in the lobby and found the bar had a lot of empty seats. I was immediately acknowledged by (I believe Shelby) the bartender but it was so quick I hadnt chosen the draft I wanted. The guy next to me made a Samuel Adams suggestion (which was awesome). Rcvd a menu and ordered within minutes. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. I thought for sure it was going to take a while due to the "full house"....but I rcvd my order in...maybe...10 minutes. The burger was perfect...fries were good. Service in general was crazy good. I was consistently asked if everything was ok...if I needed anything. I will be back. Im sure once I finish moving I wil be a regular customer.I'll also mention...all of the customers I met were awesome. I am new to the area and had lots of questions and everyone was friendly and welcoming.Note: Please tip your servers cash (if you can). If you dont understand why...look it up. I always pay with a cc...but I make sure to put a little cash in my pocket for tips. The servers will appreciate it.“
