“Great meals, deserts and friendly and responsive service.3.24.2024 Tonight a boy/man was yelling, swearing and making a nuisance. There were a lot of families with children. I asked the manager why no one spoke to him. Manager was not told by staff. All the staff was aware what was going on. Speak up people“

“The food, service and the atmosphere were all exceptional! Guacamole was so amazing and they have the best, most delicious light and crispy chips! We had seven girlfriends there to celebrate a birthday, and all 7 meals, drinks and all three desserts were awesome!!!!“

“Everything is fine, just one small detail, they never give you the cents when they give you the change, I think the full change should be given, because they wouldn't give me the order if I was missing 75 cents, it has happened to me a couple of times. ...“

“Best steak chicken fajitas in Northern Virginia!!!!!!! Fresh, sizzling goodness for dinner AND a late night snack! “This is the peak of food in Northern Virginia. In such an unassuming place, a supermarket food court, lies the best tacos I've ever had. The fusion blending of Asian and Mexican lends itself so well to not only the store, but the food itself, with some of the most flavorful dishes I've had. Not to mention how generous the portions are. A place like bartaco will charge $5/per taco for something the size of your palm, but Taco Chinoz, for the same price, will grant you a loaded full sized taco. The quality cannot be understated either, with all the ingredients being fresh from the supermarket itself. The service is especially nice, and I've come by after class so often (since it's right next to my college campus) that I've become familiar with the woman who owns and runs the place. Furthermore, this business has just opened a new location just off Mathis Street, and I'm excited to see even more from this little store. Wonderful experience every time, and wonderful food no matter what“

“This place had very good tacos. Specially the birria tacos along with the consome (the sauce for the birria tacos that you dip in) our family enjoyed trying out some of the other dishes too. Our waiter Damaris was very attentive and friendly with her service and we would definitely come back again to try more!!“

“Great prices, fast and well made food, quality of the food is top tier and tastes very authentic. I know it’s in the back of a super market but it’s a great hole in the wall spot. I got quesabirrria from here with consome and it’s delicious.“

“This hole in the wall did not disappoint! I couldn’t read the menu in Spanish but I was assisted in clear English which was helpful and I ordered what was recommended for my hankerings. The beef tacos seemed traditional Mexican style and they were so tasty! I got 3 to the order that were very filling. I’m fairly certain the tortillas were hand made, they certainly tasted fresh and homemade with something like pico & beef inside, topped with radish and cucumber, side of lime and the best sauce. So good! I wish I’d taken a pic because the presentation was nice. I ordered tamales to go and will have them later. They were wrapped very well and kept warm while I sat to eat. It smells delicious. I’m not local or I’d return.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Jarochita Restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was transported to the vibrant flavors and warm hospitality of authentic Mexican cuisine. The Steak Tacos - Perfection on a Plate The star of the show for me was undoubtedly the steak tacos. The tender, flavorful beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, nestled in soft, freshly made tortillas. Each bite was a harmonious blend of savory, tangy, and slightly spicy notes that left me craving more. Shrimp Cocktail - A Refreshing Delight As an appetizer, I indulged in the shrimp cocktail, and I was thoroughly impressed. The shrimp were plump, juicy, and bursting with flavor, complemented by a zesty, tangy cocktail sauce that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the seafood. Tres Leches - A Heavenly Dessert For dessert, I couldn't resist the temptation of the tres leches cake. This decadent treat was an absolute revelation, with a moist, spongy texture that melted in my mouth, and a rich, creamy blend of three different types of milk that left me in a state of pure bliss. I also tried the res soup, and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavor and the hearty, satisfying nature of this dish. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the tender chunks of beef and vegetables made for a truly comforting and nourishing experience. Overall, my dining experience at La Jarochita was nothing short of exceptional. The food was consistently delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable Mexican culinary adventure. I can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering offerings.“

“Hidden gem! This location in Bristow is excellent as well as the sister location in the Plains/Marshall. Absolutely delicious Mexican food; great sauces, salsas and margarites. I highly recommend the Pollo Loco dish - the chicken breasts are thin & tender and smothered in a cheesy chorizo sauce served with rice and fresh vegetables.“

“We have been several times. The service has always been attentive, one of the ladies there even modified the carne asada to accommodate our little ones. Everything we have tried has been AMAZING. The salsa is a MUST HAVE. We even buy it in volume to take home every time we get a chance.“

“Delicious tacos but a little expensive, but on par with what everyone charges for a taco these days :( I would have loved to eat like 10 tacos but I had to be reasonable and get 3.Got the birria, pastor, and carnitas and all 3 were excellent.“

“Food was very nice, went for an outing with my family. One thing I wish was better was their beans. Otherwise the food was nice and our server was great! I love the ability to be able to get corn tortillas because it makes my mom who has a gluten sensitivity feel more comfortable going out to eat.“

“We were on the way to the airport and wanted to eat good food before we had a long flight. This El Garage had great reviews. Also a good giveaway was there were lots of locals there getting the food. It was different from our usual San Diego food but it was Sooo delicious. I got the Huarache. Amazing! Never had one before but will definitely go back when in the area and have another. We also had the enchilada plate. Another outstanding choice. Service was great. People very friendly. It is located in a very unassuming shopping center. Don't let that fool you. The food is authentic and delicious!“

“LEEEEEEMMMMEEEE TELL YOU! Run don't walk to this Mexican spot in Bristow Manassas. My boy and I were watching NXT ( wrestling) and what goes good with wrestling..... Mexican food. Lucha libre was a big thing growing up! I got the beef California Burrito ( only slight thing I would add is fries to it) other than that the flavors were on point! My taste buds were getting taken down by the flavors. Now let me get you hip to the Steak fries! Had a GREAT portion ( enough for you and your tag team partner). The fries included a nice mix of veggies ( Red pepper , green peppers and onions). When it comes to the tacos..... they have it like it's suppose to be con un poquito de cilantro y cebolla. It was like going to the west coast , delicious culture. Their home made sauce added to it was just the Cherry on top. I had to tap out and the food got the best of me.... But I want a rematch.“

“Food and service was absolutely amazing! Definitely my number one taco spot from now on. Better to know Spanish when ordering which I do for the most part. However, we got charged more than what it said on the website so I think they charge you based on the way you look. Still recommend though!“

“My wife and I each had the 2-enchilada combo (chicken and spinach), which was very good. The spinach enchilada was particularly tasty, having apparently been made from fresh spinach. Yum! The chips and salsa that preceded it were also very tasty. The only disappointing part of the meal were the Patron Margaritas we ordered. Not only were they very small for a $15 price tag, but they tasted like pure lime juice, with little hint of any tequila let alone Patron. Granted, good margaritas are hard to find, but they didn't even appear to be trying in this case. Otherwise, a good meal and a friendly staff.“
“We finally tried this place and must say we had a great experience! The Pupusas are delicious (very cheesy) and fresh! Their nachos are real nachos, they had carne asada pieces, beans, cheese, onions, tomatoes and probably more. Their Horchata is probably the best I’ve had in a long time! Milky not too sweet and definitely flavorful. Hungry for Authentic Salvadoran food? This is probably the place!“
