“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.“

“This place makes me want to wake up early for breakfast. The service was great, the atmosphere was cute, and the food made me so happy. The omelette with potatoes was crispy and juicy. The buttered sourdough bread was so savory and then adding their raspberry jam changed the flavor profile into sweet crunch that made me want to order more toast. The French toast was probably the best I’ve ever had and the warm maple syrup which was a new experience was probably the best way to have maple syrup.“

“We visited Solo Farm and Table as part of a group of six on a busy Thursday night at the end of October. We were served a set menu of seasonal ingredients, many local and some from the restaurant’s garden, in a beautiful, 19th Century in, cooked with skill and presented with care. Some of our party struggled with the lack of choice, but what we were served was fabulous. A tomato amuse bouche and a squid ink dish will live long in the memory. It was the best meal we ate in our trip through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. What really stood out though was the joy all the staff brought to their work. This is a wonderful establishment and the team is clearly and justifiably proud of what they serve. It was a privilege to share in it.“

“This was my second time visiting and it won't be the last! The Reluctant Panther always offers incredible service and they really put a lot of heart in the little details. Richard is always an absolute delight and I was so happy to see that he was there this time again. Don't forget to eat at their in-house restaurant. I had the scallops and they were so good I almost cried! Thank you again, Reluctant Panther for such a wonderful stay! The only thing I could wish for for the future is a stamp card to collect a stamp from each of the rooms I've stayed in. They are all so beautiful and unique and I hope to stay at them all some day!“

“I really enjoyed my experience at the Dorset Inn. The dinner and breakfast were really nice, and the rooms were very comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I lost a small item with sentimental value in my room, and they very kindly mailed it back to me.“

We started with complimentary cranberry fritters with butter. Then a beautiful garden salad with balsamic. With the salad came Italian bread. We had the best lobster Mac and cheese as appetizer. Absolutely fabulous. Main course was pork Schnitzel and my wife ordered baked Scrod. Both great choices. We were both stuffed and had to skip dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience. “One of the only actual bars in Manchester (we found that out the hard way). Food is great, staff are super friendly and they have a great selection of beers and mixed drinks. We stayed for multiple NFL games and had a great time. This is the place to go for good food and drinks in Manchester.“

“Was in the area for a graduation. The Seasons is dog friendly and I had my Lab with us. Maria was fabulous. The food was good. I had the blackened salmon tacos. The taste was spot on with seasonings. Salmon was slightly overcooked. The Wings in the maple sriracha sauce ??. My kids had Tofu Lettuce wraps and a classic burger. I would recommend the Seasons for anyone in the area. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful staff and great food!! Thank you for your hospitality.“

“I went here for dinner one night not really knowing what to expect and thought maybe I’d have trouble being seated because it was like an hour before closing and it was packed. However, I was seated very promptly and had a very helpful and friendly server.The food was okay, and in my opinion isn’t going to knock anyone’s socks off. I had green beans and rice with my steak and neither were very flavorful at all, and the steak was a bit chewy though it was cooked correctly. I either got a bad cut or maybe it’s the quality of the meat they get - not sure. I also received plain white bread which was fine. The salad and beer were good.Overall, the place was decent and I’d definitely come back to see what else they have to offer if I’m in the area.“

“Alan was friendly, an amazing server, and super accommodating. We had the restaurant to ourselves on a Sunday evening. Our party of 6 was very satisfied with our service overall. The chef was able to alter and personalize our experience to our tastes as we had some people with dietary preferences, but he visited and asked our table before he knew of our needs. We enjoyed the winter squash carbonara, mussels, brussels sprouts with sauces, wings, truffle fries, salmon, special mac and cheese with chicken, and short ribs. We had custom cocktails that were made to taste and as well as some off their list, which were amazing. For dessert we enjoyed a variety of items including a chocolate ice cream chocolate dessert and a gorgeous fruit plate with dairy free whipped cream. Overall, this was an amazing experience and would definitely come again.“
