“Second time eating here. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. If you have not been here yet I highly suggest getting yourself in here. Their burgers are absolutely delicious almost like the old school diner burgers but bigger. The sushi is amazing!! I had a big order and they had it ready and packed within 20 min. Horchata is the best I have ever had and the size is generous compared to some other spots. Location is a little annoying to navigate, but worth the effort.“

“Today was my 2nd time coming to House of Teriyaki. They are more expensive than a lot of the other Teriyaki and Chinese food restaurants in the area, but the quality of food is higher. Their egg rolls are easily in the top 3 in town. The inside is small, and has an old dirty smell to it, but it looks clean and the ladies at the counter were very nice. I got the orange chicken, and it was way better than the Teriyaki place down the street, much more flavor. Major downside was it was $23 for orange chicken and egg rolls... That's much more than I usually pay for lunch.Would recommend, and will return.“

“This is the best filipino food, it made my girlfriend tear up when she had the sour soup...felt just like home cooked from her childhood. The most friendly and amazing restaurant management too. When we want a "home cooked" filipino meal, we cook at home or come here. If it's Monday or Tuesday and they are closed, we will cook it ourselves or simply have something else. Once we discovered Paraiso, we simply don't get filipino food anywhere else.“

“This has to be one of the best Mexican-American restaurants around. The food is delicious, especially the enchiladas. Plenty of sauce and melted cheese with refried beans and rice. We stopped for lunch and it was served on a large (hot) platter within minutes after getting free chips and salsa, then ordering. Smiling servers came by multiple times to refill our water glasses and to make sure we were doing okay. I really like the atmosphere here as it is very Spanish-style architecture with hand painted designs and carved wooden accents dividing the booths. Very clean and comfortable! I rarely give 5 stars, but this one deserves it.Parking: Plenty of parking in front and along side of the restaurant located right off of I-5 and Hwy 512.“

“This is an old Mexican restaurant in which I first visited back in the late 70's. Decades later, I still visit the Parkland and Puyallup locations periodically. The house made red salsa is truly my love. The chips are also very good. Although I have had some difficulties with the last few managers in the Puyallup location, it does not take away from the authentic taste of the food being served at all locations. The Lakewood location is cozy and classic ole' school. I love the atmosphere still decades later. The service was great and the prices are still competitive in today's post covid times. El Toro is a great place to fill your tummy and enjoy great spirits!“

“Our favorite place now! My order: Unagi (nigiri), Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special. Dad's oder: Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special and 5 order of maguro to go. The unagi was the best i have had in over 10 years. The tempura was light, crunchy and flavorful. My Dad is very particular about food and I am known to order the same item over and over. “Yeah so this place doesn't have outside pictures because it's inside of a shopping center. Anyways, I got vegetable fried rice and I've got to say, out of everything I've tasted since studying in China 8 years ago, this is the closest I've had to what we used to eat every day from our favorite street vendor. It's way better than any fried rice you can get from any other place in the states. Something about the char from the wok, the sauce they mix in, and the consistency of the cooked egg. For sure would recommend venturing into this shopping center and finding this place. Also they don't take card so bring cash or use the atm machine. Employees were cool too, accommodated me being vegetarian.“

“The best way to describe this spot is as the perfect comfort Japanese food for anyone who grew up getting the basic take out as a kid.I came by to grab a to go plate on a busy and stressful day when I just needed something quick, and it honestly hit the spot. Even when they make a mistake, they make amends. “Kyoto is a Japanese restaurant located on South Tacoma Way. This was my first time at this restaurant, and it was a pleasant time! When you walk through the glass doors, you walk over a little wooden bridge and wait to be seated by a host. There are booths scattered around, bar seating, and a private dining area. My sister and I were seated at a booth near the front. The ambiance was quite serene and calm. We needed a few minutes to think about what to order, especially since I was undecisive about what I wanted to try here. I ended up ordering the Sake Ju, while my sister ordered the Tempera Udon. Then, we shared the Super Dragon Roll. The Sake Ju had much more rice than salmon, which was a bit upsetting to me. I ordered it because I saw other pictures of people ordering it and it looked really appealing with how much salmon they got. I would not order that again, unless I decided to order sashimi on the side to eat with it. All in all, it was a good experience, and I would consider coming back again to try other items off the menu.“
