“The flavors here are fantastic. Not quite to the point where you wonder how they make them work, but it all comes together brilliantly. Everything we had impressed, and tho you’re paying premium prices you’re going to come away with a special and memorable experience.Service and atmo were good, plating was solid, just not exceptional or anything, and there’s no easy parking.Still, def a solid choice for a special meal with those you love.“
“got the Gyro Saj Shawarma & Greek Friesthis contained two main things - the sandwich and the greek friesfirst, i thought the sandwich was pretty goodwhile not using pita bread, which is typical for a gyro and usually what i prefer, this place used more of a tortilla for the breading insteadi did think this bread was toasted very well and the overall outside of the wrap was goodas far as the inside, i very much liked the way the ingredients were packed into the wrapwhile it may not look super big, each half of the sandwich was packed really tightly with a lot ofdifferent ingredients - which made it really fillingthis also let the flavors really combine since they were mixed up in close proximity inside the sandwichthe sandwich also scores high in portion size - it really had a lot of meat and overall ingredientsthe meat inside the sandwich was good - not greatwhere this disappointed me a bit was in the greek fries - there wasn't enough white saucethe cheese was decent - but the lack of sauce made the fries not really stick to the cheese that mucha lot of fries were just dryso these were still decent, but i've certainly had a lot betteri did like the crisp on theseSandwich: 8.5/10Greek Fries: 7/10Overall: 8.15/10“
“Couldn’t speak higher of Falafelville! Best Greek place on Capitol Hill, you will not be disappointed by anything you get. The owner is so kind and will remember you, the food is consistant and their Greek fries are to die for. You won’t regret becoming a regular here.“
“The food here is delicious and plentiful. Our must haves are the falafel, shish kabob and gyro platter. The hummus and salad (yummy dressing) round out an amazing meal, but there is so much more! I highly recommend ordering from Gorgeous George’s.“
“Beautifully presented delicious food, extremely friendly staff! Great options for vegetarian and vegan diets.Vegetarian options: Hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, pickles, salad, lots of other options.Dietary restrictions: Great for vegans and gluten-free, Paleo, keto, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs“
“Our family is so sad that Omega Ouzeri is shuttering its doors after all these years of providing amazing Greek cuisine on Capitol Hill. From El Greco to Vios to Omega Ouzeri, Tomas and his talented staff have always delivered on quality and have made an indelible mark on my family's culinary experiences. We were so lucky to have one last family meal here and like always, it never disappoints! Good luck, Tomas & Rebecca, on your new Greek adventures!“
“Charming restaurant with great food and excellent service. A perfect spot after enjoying a play at the Taproot Theater. Engaging menu, beautifully prepared, wonderful flavors and textures. Our Server, Tristan Kossack, was outstanding. He smoothly and deftly handled service for the whole restaurant, making it all look effortless and welcoming. He helped us put together a family style meal and his suggestions were spot on. It was an wonderful experience.“
“Believe the hype, this place is phenomenal. The lentil soup is out of this world. The mezze plate is bomb. Get any of the chicken dishes - they’re all excellent! Our server Marcos was attentive, friendly… an absolute gem. Couldn’t recommend Petra highly enough.“
“I have dined at this spot a few times now. The presentation of the food and the atmosphere are really top notch... But the portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food itself isn't necessarily 'BAD' but it does lack that special punch of flavor. I have had a lb burger that come out with a soggy bottom bun. And a Salmon dish that had a pretty bland carb base in it. My partner was a little disappointed specifically with the pasta portion sizes , some of them can be just a handful of ravioli... Just be aware.“
“We stumbled upon this magical little gem when looking for a quick dinner with good food, some ambience and outdoor dining option. There are only a few things on the menu, all Turkish fare. We tried the Pide and dumplings and they were incredible. Our 10 month old also loved it. The young woman running the restaurant was delightful and really made the experience all the more wonderful. We will definitely be back.“
“The food was fantastic. It's very much a "serve yourself" type of place though. You have to push a button on an app to summon the wait staff, and the app says not to pay online but it seems like the expectation was you'd be paying online. In addition, some kind of loud grinder or blender was going off almost the whole time.“
“Best middle eastern food in Washington. Coming from Detroit (full of authentic Arab food) I hold high standards. The baba ghanouj was the best I've had. Perfectly tangy, garlic kick, very savory, and served with fresh pita bread. The iraqi kebabs were juicy and seasoned perfectly, superior to other Washington area kebabs and totally authentic. Plus they gave smoked rice on the side and a very nice salad. The prices, while kind of expensive, are still lower than most Washington restaurants for the same amount of food.Definitely go here, you will not regret it!“
“We actually had our wedding reception in 2019 at Yannis Greek Restaurant and they were amazing! Such a wonderful family with great classic Greek food. They were kind enough to make my favorite dish of Pastitsio to serve to our family and friends among many more tasty dishes. Highly recommend them ❤️ We will never forget that day. Thank you! The Sattlers“
“Some of the most generous, friendly, attentive service in Seattle. We visited on a whim on a Tuesday evening, and we were the only guests during our time there. There was a server whose shift ended shortly after taking our orders, so it was just us and the owner/chef afterward. Really felt more like we had been invited into a family home to eat.The food is pretty good, very homey. Gigantic portions.Salmon penne - it could have used more vegetables, basil, and salt (or maybe just less pasta). The owner suggested adding more stuff at home to the leftovers, which I did, and it was great!Chicken marsala - can't go wrong with a cream, mushroom, and white wine sauce. Very good, and well seasoned. The menu and interior do feel a bit dated as others have said, but it didn't bother us. But I really think the specials menu should include prices.“
“This place is amazing! I come from a Mediterranean family and this tastes like my mom's cooking. Best falafel I've had in a very long time! Crispy outside. Moist inside. Not that dry crumbly stuff you get most places. The shawarma chicken wrap is amazing too. It's grilled so the outside is just a little crisp. Not traditional, but very good nonetheless.“
“Food was amazing! Service amazing. First time and I had the best Mediterranean chicken salad I have ever had in seattle. It was made in a way that impressed my so much it is going to be my go-to in Seattle. Its a nice location inside a food court but the neighborhood needs improvement. Won't stop me from visiting again.“
“The atmosphere is inviting and the staff very welcoming and friendly. I did not have to wait long for my order and it was the best lamb I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned in the rice platter. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also a great portion and another thing I liked is that the chef asked if I would like freshly squeezed lemonade instead of the limonata I ordered. Nice touch. The dessert was off the menu but deserves a mention. Excellent chocolate cake! Will definitely come back when visiting Seattle.“
“We just popped in to get something to eat before a show, I got the roasted bone marrow and it was delicious! Everything on the menu looked beautiful so I hope to come back to Seattle soon to try more. On the way out the owners gave me a HUGE bone cause I asked for a box for the bone from my dish, to make treats for my dog. That was sooooo sweet and unexpected! Thank you so much and we will definitely stop in again“
“"Do ya like smooth jazz?"The jazzzz the staffff the cocktailsss... All, excellent. The Zig Zag burger was also very good. I wasn't a fan of the coconut risotto, but everything else was great. Our server, Kaira, was so cool I can't even lie. Good experience!“
“I love trying any place that has a gyro but this restaurant is a true gem. The smells are intoxicating as soon as you enter. It is clean and comfortable with quick friendly service. But then the food... My fiancee and I got two lamb gyros with tabbouleh salad and baklava and cake for dessert. The first bite is heaven and the rest only increases in flavor. The meat in the gyros is flavorful, the vegetables are fresh, the sauce is perfectly balanced. My tabbouleh is fresh and lights my mouth up with a lovely zestiness. We haven't gotten into the desserts yet but I had to stop and write about this food while the euphoria is still zipping through me. We will 100% be back and if you love Mediterranean food I highly recommend you come spend your money here.“
“The owner is incredibly personable and is very involved with his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and have excellent customer service skills. I chose a faster made food, the Chicken Kabob (recommended by the owner) and there was nothing that made it feel rushed or made cheap even though the price was amazing for the amount of food that came about 10 mins after ordering. BEST DARN KABOB I'VE EVER HAD IN SEATTLE. I'm sad I didn't try this place out when I lived in the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. I'd be a lot fatter by now...“
“my friends and I came in and ordered 6 different sandwiches while just the owner was on shift, and he was so incredibly friendly and cheery regardless. he bet us that if he made our sandwiches and we thought it was the best falafel we'd ever had, we would have to leave a good review for the restaurant. we took the bet. it was the best falafel we'd ever had. this place is a genuine gemVegetarian options: falafel sandwich is absolutely delicious“
“We descend into the streets of fremont on a Friday. Ollie at Bar House tells us Sinbad got some loaded fries that will rock our world. We get there and the smells are intoxicating. The fryers are goin off and the guy working has the warmest smile. We decide on the falafel fries. Crunch crunch whammy, favorite fries of the century. Support these guys with all you got and come hungry.Ps. we went back to the counter and ordered a falafel sandwich that was sauced up perfection.“
“Ordered on Christmas night and the food was fresh and authentic. The portions are big so bring an appetite. The only thing I’d recommend (if your like me and don’t like a lot of dressing or sauce) is maybe tell them half dressing on the sandwich..Besides, that the meal was awesome! I’ll definitely be back.“
“I had the most amazing experience at Corvus this evening! The atmosphere was amazing, the bartender was so kind, attentive, and made the most delicious cocktails! We only had fries, but they were super tasty, perfectly crisp, and well seasoned! I can't wait to come back for dumplings next time!“
“Excellent lamb gyro! I'm used to going to Tarpon Springs, Florida, and seeing the traditional tall spinning verical rotisserie with a cone of beef and lamb cooking. They cut thin slices of meat using a knife, then it's grilled and has crispy edges. Here they are, chunky with crispy edges. I had the beef and lamb with extra meat. My mistake it was way too much meat for me. Personally, I like extra tzatziki sauce and tomatoes, light onions, and lettuce. Also had the Greek salad. I absolutely loved it. I would get extra dressing, feta, and tomatoes. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the Seattle Chinatown-International District. It's close to the Historic Chinatown Gate. Enjoy.“
“Yum yum yum!! Wow this was so flavorful and wonderful. It’s a counter service where you go up and order then they bring you the food. The platters are legit. That rice was so good and the hummus….chefs kiss. I’m just so happy we stumbled upon this place and ate here. Yum! The price given the quantity is fair.“
“My favorite place to get take out for dinner. Lovely small local restaurant with great food. There are so many options in the area but I think the food matches the pricing. The amount of gyro meat I got on my fries was extremely generous. Highly “
“Stellar service, stellar food. I'm not much of a pasta guy but the saffron chicken pasta was fantasticUpdate: spicy sausage pizza was fabulous. We ordered the fig salad this time and they botched it but were super kind about taking it back!“
“If your looking for a good experience check this place out. Got a nice table view. Service was good. Quiet young man at cashier, but was prompt to help clear our table when exiting to bring our dishes to the front. Food was fantastic. Fries #1. Decent price is what I would expect. Glad I stopped in. Thank you!!“
“Okay, so I'm giving 5 stars cuz the service was wonderful and the food was good. I mostly wanted to do a review to say thank you for being chill and for your kind offer to grill my onions cuz I don't like them raw and to give a little friendly feedback about the food.... I just have two things: first I wish the chicken shawarma was saucier, both more of the sauce it was cooked in and more tzatziki, and second the fries tasted a little like freezer burn which might mean the batch you were using is a little old. Thank you again for the meal! I'll be back to try some of the other things on your menu“
“Everything tasted really good, just wish they hadn't run out of hot sauce. Only complaint is that we got take out and it took 30 min for the food to come out, next time we'll def order ahead of time. Loved the falafels the best. Fries were pretty decent too, I would definitely get again!“
“Another restaurant we wish we had first visited years ago, not when we are moving in 2 weeks! Prices appear high, but the mixed grill for 4 basically served 8, as we all had plenty of leftovers the next day. Those fresh pitas are chef's kiss delicious and they are unlimited (within reason, I'm sure) when dining in. The mixed grill came with 5 mezze selections. We were all so happy with everything - flavor, quality, service, ambiance, everything. Amazing.“
“Tasty food and friendly service. I visited on a Saturday between lunch and dinner time and was one of two small groups. Ended up ordering the lamb platter and tzatziki and fried cauliflower and everything was very good. The pita was pretty fluffy and the lamb nicely seasoned. I also enjoy the fried cauliflower a lot with the generous seasoning.“
“My son who loves schwarma LOVES this place. So if gyros are your thing -- and also seasoned fries -- hit Sultan up for some deelish schwarma.Kid-friendliness: No worries about having to be neat or quiet. This place is super casual.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space to park a chair“
“Without a doubt, this is the best gyro I've ever had. Tons of meat, fresh vegetables, great sauce. I live 3 hours from Seattle but I try to stop by Mr Gyros every time I come to Seattle to visit my son or watch a game. Only complaint is a lack of seating but I was told this is being addressed. Almost forgot, my wife and I can both eat lunch at Mr Gyros for less than a couple of disgusting value meals at mcdonald's.“
“Decided to try this place out for a work lunch and it was very welcoming & food was delicious! I got the chicken shawarma wrap and their Somali spiced tea, which came with complimentary lentil soup as I was waiting for my meal. Very kind and hospitable for a quick grab and go!I highly recommend for a casual, Black-owned, local spot with fresh & made to order dishes. I also didn't feel overly stuffed or sluggish afterwards! I appreciate that their dishes are halal :)Parking: It's street parking, but it wasn't very difficult to find a spot on MLK.“

“Went there 3/28, the three girls provided excellent service, our waters were never empty and they gracefully tolerated my toddler being a nuisance in a small space. Hummus was amazing, 2 Chicken skewers for 25 bucks is very $eattle but they were cooked perfectly so cant complain. Even the things we didn't like flavor wise were high quality and made well. Would absolutely go back and recommend it.“
“Lovely people serving delicious food! My chicken shawarma salad was ready in minutes. It was filled with fresh veggies and a pile of chicken with feta as well. Didn't forget to grab a side of pita and hummus to go along with your meal!“
“The food was exactly as I remember having growing up in a thirdgen greek household. The chicken souvlaki gyro was perfectly cooked and seasoned very juicy! I loved the staff's friendliness, quickness on getting our orders, the atmosphere, and also dry goods from Greece that we could buy too! The price was also very affordable and better quality than other places have gone to where they don't even give you veggies and charge more while this place does give you good quality veggies and meat and charges less. 10/10 highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There are salads, pita, hummus, babaganoush, spanakopita, mousaka, baklava, and falafel dishes which are all vegetarian and have some sort of plant protein(nuts, feta, or chickpeas)“
“Stopped in here this evening. The owners are super friendly and helped us navigate the menu as it was our first time having Persian food. When we got our food I was super impressed. Every thing we ate was DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place. GET IN THERE!!!“
“The Shop Agora is Seattle's very best restaurant. Nikos' food and wine selection is a hidden gem - unbelievably more delicious than the approachable price tag would suggest! But the priceless part is Nikos' thoughtful entertainment. He curates the small restaurant's crowd each evening, from a collection of happenstance strangers to neighbors who've raised a glass together. Tip well. Nikos and his team earn it every time.“
“What a magnificent find this was! Impeccable service, Andaluca offers a romantic and elegant ambiance to complement the perfect culinary experience. We started with the soft-ripened Murciana goat cheese and house made preserves, the star of the night was their roasted beets and citrus salad, the Andaluca paella simply delicious and the flavors of the preserved lemon chicken transported us to the Mediterranean! I have to add that the cocktails were also an experience! We all agreed this was by far one of the best meals we’ve had. Highly recommended!“
“Sadly 2 of our 3 dinners were not up to the usual standards at this local pre-opera/ events. My gyro meat dinner was great but the lamb kabob was over cooked and the chicken tawook was also dry. Bc we were going to the opera, my friends didn't send their dinners bc of the time frame. We will definitely return. We've been going there for years. We just hope for a better meal experience. The service was excellent.“
“I felt like in Morocoo. For $30++/person you will get 6 dish. Salad, Lentil Soup, B'stilla Royale, Main Dish, Rice Pudding & Mint Tea.The lamb was so good. It doesn't taste too lamb-y. So don't worry if you are not lamb person, it'll turn out good.Definitely will come back.“
“Delicious Beef and Lamb Shawarma. The only authentic shawarma in King County and one of the best shawarma in the State. I am only talking about the beef lamb shawarma since I never tried the chicken one. The falafel and humus are delicious too.“
“The breakfast taste pretty good. Nice pancake. Makes you want to eat more. The side dish is pretty nice. Lamb with bomb also pretty nice. Fried chicken taste pretty interesting as well. Not bad for one that isn't freshed fried. Enjoyed the meal in this small restaurant. Have to come back for some other dishes.“
“If you're in the mood for some delicious and authentic Jordanian food in Seattle, then Petra is the place to go to! This was my second time at this restaurant, and I'm so happy that the quality of their food and service has remained as amazing as it was when I first came here 2 years ago!Great vibes and decor in the interiors, very friendly staff, and great service. The food portions were also big, and super flavorful and delicious. We started our meal with Mosabaha and some warm pita bread. We then also had the shish tauk which came with this delicious garlic sauce and buttery rice, and the lamb ouzi. It was the perfect comfort meal, and we left with a food coma, and leftovers that we enjoyed the next day. I can't wait to come back to Seattle to try more of their wonderful dishes!“
“My friend is moving near this place and we wanted something delicious and quick for dinner. When I looked at the comments and saw that it had an almost perfect score from almost five hundred people, it caught my attention.woooow those people are not wrong, it has been a long time since I ate such delicious Middle Eastern food, it was so good that we repeated and will continue to repeat this place. For me this place is a must and you have to go try it 100% recommended. thank you for the wonderful dinner.“
