Lin Dumplings & Noodles Asian Fusion •
14602 15th Ave NE, Shoreline

“The general tso's chicken was very good, great flavor and crispy crunchy texture. Ratio of meat to batter. 10/10 The soup dumplings were also very good! 10/10 The pho would honestly get a 4/10 from me, the broth was pretty good, but the meat was not done with restaurant quality in my opinion, the aromatics were also not looking the freshest and the noodles were a bit soggy. Although the quantity of noodles, aromatics and meat was fair. The seared beef bun was not crispy enough in my opinion, but it wasn't terrible perhaps a 6.25/10“

“This has been my favorite Thai restaurant in/near Seattle for many years. They do a great job on vegan offerings, their Phad See Ew without fish sauce is delicious (many places do badly with that). Pad Thai is also excellent, and there are many vegetarian options The atmosphere is really nice, you forget you're in a strip mall. There's a giant wooden carved structure that is very impressive.Vegetarian options: Can get without fish sauce and still have great flavorDietary restrictions: can veganizeParking: In a strip mall, plenty of places. “Wow, the food here is amazing. The recommendations and feedback I got from the bartender was mediocre. I was feeling adventurous so asked about the octopus, she compared it to steak... it was a little chewy like I expected but the salty richness of the bacon and greens made for an amazing combination. She didn't think the octopus would have been enough for me so suggested I order something else. I went with the Steak tataki salad, which was great. The basalmic, steak and hearts of palm offsets the sharp taste of the greens. More food than I needed but it was all amazingly delicious. Everything I ordered was fantastic.Parking: Parking is a challenge unless you pay to put it politely.“

“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.“

“This small restaurant is a great Asian fusion spot in Edmonds. I’ve been here 3x now and have been pleasantly surprised by their dishes and cocktails. The place has a great selection of Asian inspired foods along with a list of specials served weekly (or monthly?). I highly recommend booking a reservation a few days in advance as they’re always full both weekdays and weekends. I’ve managed to snag a spot at their bar without a reservation the last 2x I’ve gone during dinner hour. The soup dumplings, Brussels sprouts, yakisoba add katsu chicken, and homemade mac salad are some of favorites. I’ve also tried their beef rice bowl and tacos (on the speciality menu) which have been tasty as well. I haven’t made it to happy hour yet, but it’s on the list! “It's probably one of the best Thai restaurants near the Mill Creek and Bothell area. I have only tried three of their dishes, the Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See Ew. All three were amazing. Plenty of flavor and freshly prepared. There are plenty of portions in each order. The cost was fair. Nowadays, with everything costly, understand the higher than norm prices. The business owners are feeling the high costs. I don't feel like I overpaid with the food I got. There are several reasons, there is no way I could make this type of dish even if I could find a video on YouTube. Plus, it's better to just order authentic Thai from a real business. Also a pleasure to reward the taste buds from time to time and support our local businesses.“

“Another positive review here, Trying to keep it short cuz I wanna get back to this food. First time I've seen spicy katsu as an option so I ordered it for pickup and it was incredible. I'm excited to try their other options. The bento came with a California roll which was fine but lackluster (that's kinda my opinion on Cali rolls in general tho). Everything else in the box was stellar, and probably would've been even better if I had dine-in. The dude seemed to enjoy what he was doing which is a great sign for good food, and the packaging had an extra level of care that I really appreciated. I even got a piece of chocolate with my order. All-in-all, I'm super impressed, and if I had to choose a "complaint," it would just be that I wish I had an option beside a California roll with the bento. Amazing food and atmosphere, 5/5!!“

“This is my boyfriend and I's new favorite Korean spot (and honestly a favorite restaurant in general) in Seattle! It's located in a really quiet and nice area of Madison Park. It's close enough to the water that you can walk a few blocks to digest after dinner, then hit a bar. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, we've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be sat at a table, even on a weekend night. The service is so sweet, attentive, and friendly. My boyfriend and I always order the tteokbokki (and add cheese) as an appetizer. The sauce isn't as thick as most tteokbokki dishes, but I actually prefer it the way Hanok does it . . . and the sauce is soooo good I wanna lick the plate. We also split an order of corn cheese which comes in this little sizzling cast iron skillet so the edges of the cheese get a little crispy, it's so good. I always get the spicy pork belly and dip it in the corn cheese. The meat entrees come with a little bowl of purple rice, miso soup, and a salad. At first I was bummed that there is no banchan, but honestly everything's so filling that I don't think I'd be able to stomach more side dishes anyway. My boyfriend always gets the sundubu which comes in a huge bowl and he always struggles to finish it. If you want to add a drink to your dinner, try the plum sake. We just discovered this place like last week and have already been here 3 times, it's so good. We're struggling to control our Hanok urges lol so it's a good thing it's a bit of a drive from our house or I'd go bankrupt. And honestly the prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food and quality you get (for west coast standards). Definitely put this on your must try list, it's a gem!“

“I believe 9 rolls fill up a boat if that is what you are looking for. I wouldn't say this is the best quality sushi, but some were better than others. the rice quality isn't that good or something, some rolls were kind of hard and wondered if there was any rice at all, but pretty good still. don't even know what I got as I came with 3 other people and we each ordered 2 rolls each. everyone was a able to try a little of each other's order and we were full after that.it did take a while to get our order but that's 72 pieces they had to make.“

“Nowadays you would have to spend $15 and up for a good meal. I spent $11 on an awesome meal here! The charge is by the weight. I am eating more salad nowadays but I was able to shove more than enough meat in my plate and some noodles and still paid a reasonable price. Food is fresh and delicious! Lots of variety! My new go to for lunch when in downtown.“

“Ordered several different dishes, though you can taste the same chicken in all dishes, and all are pretty salty. Wish they could just leave the teriyaki sauce aside for the customers to dip on their own. Also, they could add more variety to the flavors/dishes rather than just using the same meat across the board.“

“I was curious about the Bahn mi burgers so decided to try one along with the pho and thai tea. The burger was really good and a fun twist on traditional bahn mi. The pho was good but nothing special and the thai tea was pretty good. If I'm ever in Seattle again I'd definitely stop in again to try one of the other burgers. Overall food was 8/10 and service and ambiance was 7/10.“

“Came from Vegas and visited the woodland park zoo. This was 1 min away from the zoo and we were famished from walking all day! And we were not disappointed! Portions sizes are huge and plenty for a family of 4. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, almond fried chicken, and beef broccoli and they were so delicious! Almond fried chicken was crispy and tender and the sauce paired well with the chicken. The beef was super tender and the brocccoli was not too soft and had a crunch (which we like!). And don't forget the fried rice! They were so yummy and paired well with everything we ate! Soo goood! Friendly family owened business. Owner was super nice and suggested places for us to visit so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Will definitely stop by again whenever we are in town!“

“The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. Next time, I have to try something else besides just teriyaki. :)“

“Very good modern spin on Korean food. Meat and fish preparations were expertly crafted. Sampled a large swath of the menu and enjoyed everything. One disappointing thing was dessert, but server kindly took that off the tab.Vegetarian options: Slim pickings. Roasted Brussels sprouts and potato small bites were excellent but not sure if they had meat components like bacon.Parking: There is a paid parking lot right across the street but spendy. Also close to a theater, so if there is a show in town, options dwindle and prices go up.Kid-friendliness: Well behaved kids should not be a problem.“

“Absolutely impressed by the quality of food. Dining companion opted for crab rangoon as appetizer, and while I regularly dislike crab rangoon. . .WOW! Hands down the BEST crab rangoon I have _ever_ had. Four different sushi rolls ordered, and each stood out from the other as well as each was delectable. Their curry is silky smooth and begged to have us finish it all (er, couldn't: I'd ordered enough food to feed four, not two! :D ). Additional menu items showed an understanding of Thai dishes using different combinations, while still maintaining Thai flavor texture-profiles. Drunken Udon, for instance, instead of pad see yew, is one menu item that demonstrates this. Prices are entirely within the norm for the area and within the norm for Thai and Japanese restaurants within the region. Consider the three-star reviews of this place to be inconsiderate and ignorant. I don't take lightly to reviewing a restaurant unless it's truly worth it, so take this five-start review to heart and GO THERE NOW! :)“
