Be prepared for a line as they seem to meter things to keep the kitchen and dining room at reasonable levels. Other food looked great. “It was nice when you used to be able to walk-in, but for good reason SKT has grown in popularity so I would recommend to always book a reservation or you may not get a table. It has a great mix of traditional sushi items, as well as unique offerings that we can't find elsewhere. We used to always order à la carte but recently tried the omakase and the slight variations are awesome.“

“Came in here for a pretty late brunch. Service was good and they were kind to check in on us as the kitchen and bar were closing.We got the po boy and the tasso ham Benedict. Both were pretty good. I wish the po boy came with something other than chips though they paired well together I suppose.“

“Wow, the food here is amazing. The recommendations and feedback I got from the bartender was mediocre. I was feeling adventurous so asked about the octopus, she compared it to steak... it was a little chewy like I expected but the salty richness of the bacon and greens made for an amazing combination. She didn't think the octopus would have been enough for me so suggested I order something else. I went with the Steak tataki salad, which was great. The basalmic, steak and hearts of palm offsets the sharp taste of the greens. More food than I needed but it was all amazingly delicious. Everything I ordered was fantastic.Parking: Parking is a challenge unless you pay to put it politely.“

From the valet greeting, to the hostesses, the menu with my man’s name on it for his bday, to the perfect table overlooking the fire, to the rose petals on the cloth, to Luca, our server extraordinary. Wow! Our meal was perfectly prepared. Best steak I’ve had in Seattle. The two gentlemen who filled the water and cared for our table were attentive and friendly. Cesar and another person. When it came for dessert- which I saved room for- the bananas foster was prepared by Kirin, the GM. It was so smooth and delicious. Amazing. My guy got a tour of the kitchen he enjoyed and we may go back to learn how to prepare the bernaise sauce. So, if you have a chance - go. I will most definitely be back. “Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.“

“Visited Arleana's when they opened and thought the food was mediocre. Under Executive Chef Jacob Howell, the food is SUPERB! Visited for dinner on Tuesday and returned for brunch yesterday. Both meals were sooooo tasty! The salmon for the brown-stewed dinner dish was cooked perfectly; the chicken and biscuit at brunch was a treat for my taste buds! I am not a fan of pimento cheese, but I would happily have that spread on ANYTHING. The Brussels sprouts we ordered were so good, I asked for some to go and they heated up nicely in my air fryer. If you've visited before - give it another try - you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!“

“This place is amazing if you visit in person! We ordered once during the pandemic and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered an assortment of skewers (our favorites were the pork belly, beef and fat, and chicken gristle) which were all nicely cooked and had great flavor. We also got a side of cold cucumbers which were refreshing and slightly tart / sweet and the spicy rice noodles. My husband loved the noodles which were very comforting to eat alongside the skewers. Everything tasted very fresh, was served quickly, and decent in portion. We hit $88 and the waitstaff gifted us with a shrimp dish, which was also very yummy. After the meal, staff also gave us two yakult drinks to wash it all down. The service was also great - water and napkins were provided without us having to ask. So glad we decided to stop by! We will definitely be back to try more things!“

“What a lovely gem!Came here with mother and wife on a Saturday for lunch and were really impressed by the food.The fried oyster po boy was something out of this world! I never knew you could have such good po boy outside of Louisiana ?Wife ordered the lamb gnocchi which was also very delicious! ? We also ordered a warm beet salad and a cannoli which we liked as well.Their lunch menu is quite reasonable. And their proximity to Green Lake makes this place an ideal fueling station after your run or biking tour. ?“

“What a lovely Thursday evening at Five Bistro! We had a reservation at 6pm to celebrate a birthday. A few members of our group arrived early around 5:30pm and leisurely enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the bar. The bartender even gave us a glimpse into next month's special drink-- featuring grapefruit, ginger, and tequila! We enjoyed the baked goat cheese with crostinis, and especially liked the olive tapenade it came with. Order extra crostini to maximize goat cheese use! Around 5:50pm, we were seated at our table on the outdoor patio where we stayed warm by the tabletop fire. For dinner, we ordered 3 large pizzas (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, & Kale) and a large Caesar salad to share between our group of 4 people. Everything was delicious, especially with the chili oil on our pizza crusts. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and Five continues to be an Edmonds favorite!“

“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.“

“I am constantly in search of good hot pot places in Seattle. While Hai Di Lao has been my go-to choice, after a meal at Qiao Lin it is definitely rising the ranks on my hot pot list and has the potential to overthrow hai di lao. During our visit, my friends and I chose the four-broth option, featuring two mild selections (tomato broth, pork bone broth) and two spicy options (Chongqing spicy broth, pepper pork broth). The waiter told us that the pepper pork broth was not as spicy but we found it to be the spiciest of the lot. We ordered the beef combo and the presentation was one of the best I've seen at hot pot. The combo arrived on a golden cow and even had a cool fog experience for the first few minutes it was on the table. Every cut of beef on that platter was a delight, especially the Wagyu. Since the platter was pretty filling we only ordered a few other items: quail eggs, skewers, noodles, and meatballs. These were good but honestly didn't compare to the wagyu from the beef platter. The wait staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive throughout our entire dinner. Their patience was notable especially when they graciously waited for us to finish our meal and didn't push us at all even though we were the last party to leave. I will definitely be back to Qiao Lin, primarily for the remarkable beef platter and the commendable service.“

“I never leave reviews, but I was visiting town and the bartenders Heaven and Stefan made my entire trip with their hospitality.There aren't words for how great my bone-in steak was, as it was the best I've had in a longgg time.. and I eat a lot of steaks.But not only was the food amazing.. the service and hospitality was bar none, and top-notch. “The White Swan is a MUST on a warm Seattle evening.The outdoor patio is so cute and the views of Lake Union and the Space Needle are quintessential to Seattle.Make sure to go during sunset to get all the vibes!We got an array of things and they were all really good.The salmon salad was a light and delicious salad, perfect for adding a little greens into your meal.The oysters and clams were super fresh, and the salmon dip was one of my favorite parts of the whole meal. The prawns were good but their cocktail sauce was delicious!!The crab hushpuppies weren’t my favorite but my friend said they were his favorite part of the meal. I still really enjoyed them.The pasta was yummy, tho I was a little sad that it was suppose to be a pesto base but they were out of pesto so they did a cream. Not as flavorful as last time but still good.HH Bucatini al cinghiale ($14) - This was the star of the show. I'd come here just for this. “This place is incredibly popular for brunch, but then they open back up and get it 3 PM for dinner today I was going to experience brunch your decaf coffee was incredible salt and iron! Our server, Tyler was very knowledgeable and I had to have a corn beef a cash breakfast but before I did that I had to have the jalapeño biscuits with your special whiskey and onion butter… The seating was incredible and beautiful, but I must recommend making the reservation in advance because this place is incredibly popular and you will find out why when you sit down and try all their food… Say hello to Tyler for me that dude was awesome!“

The sushi bento has tuna, yellowtail, salmon, albacore, shrimp nigiri, crispy rice with crab meat, etc. The bento itself was filling enough.It was good, the fish was fresh, the miso was flavorful but not too salty, and the portions were fair.“

I really enjoyed the fish & chips and prawns as the breading was perfect where it is crispy and thin. I wish there's a bit of seasoning or salt on the fish but overall wonderful texture of the cod. I'm not a huge fan of the smoked salmon bisque as it has a sour taste to it which is not what I expected. Would come back and try their sandwiches.“

“I had the lunch special of Chili and Basil, the service was swift and very friendly, the food and atmosphere was equally enjoyable! It’s also quite fairly priced considering the location! I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, or even for catering! “We enjoyed lunch yesterday. Best Chinese food we have found in snohomish county. Can definitely tell it is homemade. Everything was delicious and I can't stress that enough. The staff were sweet.
