“I normally drop by to just buy their bread (which is damn good), but I stopped by to check out falafel night with my wife and we were not disappointed. Incredibly fresh and delicious. We will back for future falafel nights!Love the vibe this place has going on too - it is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in Spokane.“
“Store is beautiful and clean! The staff are all super friendly. The best part of all, the cookies are far superior to any rival cookie company Spokane has to offer. What I like is that each cookie has a different dough and instead of just new toppings, a lot of recipes have them mixed in. I’ve already been to this store five times and have never regretted the drive up there. Wonderful owners too!“
“I wish I could award six stars, as our visit to Boots was absolutely fantastic. The vegan and gluten-free selections were a delightful surprise, especially for my girlfriend who navigates several dietary restrictions. Thanks to a knowledgeable staff, we were seamlessly provided with delicious options. The pumpkin waffles were outstanding, but the sweet potato and tofu dish stole my heart. Not to overlook their pastries, which were also exceptional--I ended up spending at least $40 on them, and each was worth every penny. The cinnamon roll, in particular, was a standout for me; I've yet to find a gluten-free roll that tastes as authentic as this one. It was incredibly impressive, and we're eagerly looking forward to returning to Boots on our next trip to Spokane.“
“Obviously, one goes here to get cheap bread products. That was what I got. But, the customer service and warm inviting feeling that the cashier's and stocker provided was almost as good as the delicious bread. My child was offered free frosted animal crackers along with coloring pages. Go in on Saturdays for their dollar wall. ?“
“Really cute place. Probably the best macarons I have ever had!! Tried the fruity pebble, vanilla, confetti cake and raspberry. They are large and had amazing texture and flavor! The confetti cake was okay. Tried the raspberry cheesecake ice cream sandwich and that was delicious!“
“Went in late on a Friday evening, bought a Carmel apple pie with the intention of bringing some home to share, and ended up eating the whole thing it was so dang good! Place is quiet and staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend! Much better than birdies pies, better price, better size and all around much better pie!!“
“Lovely place. Ellen and the entire crew are amazing. Pastries and hand pies, breads and Cyrus O'Leary pies. We love the bread store.Dietary restrictions: They have various breads including, not limited to, and not guaranteed to be there: keto bread, organic bread, gluten free bread etc“
“Visiting Spokane and like coffee? Can’t miss this coffee shop. Loved their blend so much, that I ended up buying their beans.Their Pesto Cheese Baguette is soooo gooood! Ask for the toasted version, it’s really toasted - no microwaving or pressed sandwich substitute.Vegetarian options: They have a pesto cheese baguette which worked for vegetarians in our group.“
“Less is more at Made with Love Bakery. The building is small, but cozy. The coffees and baked goods are flavorful but not too sweet. Their selection is limited but focused. Very friendly staff and in a charming neighborhood location. Give it a visit if you're in the area!“
“Thanks for a job well done! I ordered a couple of the 24 bite-size ones for my daughter and her staff on her birthday. You out did yourself and even included a special bday surprise for the bday girl! Thank you for the extra touch! Everyone LOVED them!“
“Brought my mom here on a whim after a hobby lobby excursion since she never treats herself to....treats haha. Wonderful and friendly service. The digital ordering tablets in the store make everything far less stressful for those that get anxiety when trying to decide what they want (I ordered one of everything, anyway ). The inside was very clean and minimalist. Focal point is clearly their giant cookies. Everything was delicious. I preferred the speculous overall because it didn't punch me with sweetness like the others. Pink velvet was a close second but I could only eat a sliver at a time. Disclaimer: I do not typically eat cookies and I have a savory, over sweet, tooth. My mom enjoyed sampling all the flavours and that's all that mattered. This would be an excellent office bribe or celebration treat to share with many others since there is no way either of us could eat even half of one cookie! Thanks for the sweets! Cheers“
“It’s pricey but you get massive portions, and service is quite quick even though it was busy when we went. Our waiter, Ian, was very attentive and thoughtful. We brought our 20 month old and he was always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we need. They gage us an activity sheet with free crayons which we appreciated. When she dropped it, Ian picked it up and even asked us if she could have the floor crayon back before giving it to her. High attention to detail and high regard for the customers wants and needs. 10/10 would return.“
“These folks do such incredible work in our community. The food is amazing and they never hesitate to help folks in need. They help fire victims, provide free lunch to kids, and constantly ask folks how they can help. My favorite business in all of Spokane, their menu is amazing and their hearts are golden!“
“You can always count on Nothing Bundt Cakes to be delicious! These tasty treats are so good as just that and make fun little surprise gifts for people too. Love the towers wrapped with ribbons, flowers and celebratory flags! Customer service is always great and fast.“
“Oh my goodness, you won't believe the incredible experience I had at the coffee shop today! The barista was simply amazing - so friendly, chatty and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended their famous chai tea and I couldn't resist. It was absolutely mind-blowing! But wait, there's more... she also let me in on a little secret that they're soon switching to a new brand. Imagine the possibilities! While I was already there, I decided to indulge in their Bean & Pie, loaded with fresh strawberries & rhubarb. And need I say more? It was pure heaven on my palate! @beanandpie @newlovecoffee_ 1102 W Summit Pkwy Unit 102 Spokane, WA 99201“
“Marsells Cakes was the best! Delicious and beautiful! I could not have had better cake for my wedding! All of my guests raved about the cake and petit fours! Marcel does impeccable work, is easy to work with and designs amazingly tasty cake!! I highly recommend!“
“Love it every time I come here. Nate is always here too (give him a day off jeeze) and he’s always so nice to help me and my girlfriend out and always remembers us. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and nothing but TOP tier service. Highly recommend the bacon potato quiche if they have it in as well always my go to.“
“Very cool place! Several food and beverage places under one roof. I've had Peace Pie Pizza and the Black Label Brewing Company pilsner...loved them both. Boots Bakery and a coffee place are there, and I will be there soon for that. The crowd there is very friendly. Definitely a nice place to go with friends or by yourself.“
“I was very impressed with the food, the affordable price, the workers, and the rustic look. It is refreshingly different from other restaurants. I had the blueberry French toast. The coffee was amazing. My friend and I had a memorable experience dining here. We shared a custard oatmeal and it was delicious! I took home a large cinnamon roll. Great baked goods!Parking: Plenty of parking spaces since it's in a plaza.“
“Susie's cakes and cupcakes are amazing!! She did our wedding cake almost 13 years ago and we have been loyal customers ever since. She has done cakes for our kids birthdays, mine and my husband's 40th birthdays and my kids love coming to visit and getting cupcakes. She always has a smile on her face and customer service is wonderful. We love Susie and will continue to patron her business until we can't. ❤️“
“Honestly one of the most welcoming and cozy coffee shops I have been too. I am not one to frequent a coffee shop, but due to the atmosphere, the always incredibly nice staff, and the great tasting coffee, I keep coming back. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“
“I absolutely love the cakes here! Staff is great and owner is quick to respond and chat. And super friendly! They do sell by the slice if you want to just try it out! This buisness definitely has a life long customer. The prices are very reasonable for these cakes as well.“
“I was looking for bread rolls, but found wonderful honey pecan rolls and gingerbread mouse cookies. And my new found favorite frangipane tart was so delicious! Not the easiest bakery to find, but once you know, you know. The only complaint is the prices, if there was a Whole Food's in Spokane, this place would bake for it. (It's not jokingly called "whole paycheck" for no reason.) Sometimes though, getting a food item that is made of and tastes of good quality ingredients is worth it? Unfortunately I can't afford to be a regular regular, but I do enjoy the goodies enough to recommend them. Also, the steps to the building are steep! Be very cautious in and out.“
“This is takeout only but they have great cookies for l occasions. Cookies for corporate events l, small event. Cookies for birthdays, weddings, graduations a many more occasions. Corporate and business advertising cookies are all great designs. This baker knows what shes doing. She is very artistic and great to work with.“
“Best thing ever. Love the kawaii aesthetic, I liked every cupcake I tried, bestie got a birthday cupcake, everything was great. Only thing we didn't crack open was the cupcake ale or was it a wine? Either way, all around amazing and will recommend this to anyone who loves cake. Well worth the price and the drive.“
“I've become a regular! I'm originally from Seattle, and "the shop" is my kinda place. Great coffee, good vibe, friendly staff & lots of gluten free options. I do wish they were open a little later, but that's the only thing I'd changeDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Absolutely amazing. Came in once at the last minute for a large order to surprise our council members for the first meeting of the school year and they were so nice and accommodating even though I was just getting $140 in cupcakes as a walk in. Not only that but they packaged everything beautifully in short order AND they had a large selection of gluten free treats to make sure that our gluten free group was included in the surprise. (I think I got 8 gluten free cookies that were huge & very pretty and maybe 4 dozen cupcakes) Everyone was super impressed and loved the treats. They are closed Sundays though so plan ahead. I walk by here every day and it always looks/smells amazing. It's my favorite place for treats to gift.“
“Lydia is such a great person. She makes me feel welcome every time I come into her establishment. I'm excited to see the new location downtown! Every single treat or bread I've had from her shop is absolutely delicious. Thanks Lydia. Glad to hear you're doing well!“
“This place has been my go-to coffee shop for a few years now. Even if it wasn't so conveniently close to my home and work, I would go out of my way to come here for the great coffee and even better service. If I have time I always go inside because I absolutely love the friendly atmosphere that the baristas here create. Any time I'm meeting s friend for coffee, this is always my first suggestion.“
“The apple pie y'all! The crust is perfect and insanely good. There is a sticky, crunchy, sweet cinnamon topping - chef's kiss - and it was packed with apple filling. So, so, so good. The bakery staff were very nice and happy to help us with our pie selection. Not to mention the actual shop is really cute. Run, don't walk, and get yourself some pie.“
