“I got my first chance to eat at Coopers Monday night. Sat at the bar with a friend and had great service from Kelsey B.! One thing that I don’t do is drink tap water…. and finally a nice restaurant carry’s Acqua Panna served in a wine class with a lemon!!!! Love it!! Both our steaks were cooked perfectly!! Then to top it off, the Manager named Ross stops over and surprised us with a slice of Carrot Cake!!! My man! ?. The ambience was perfect, not too much light and not too dim. ??“

“One of the best meals and experiences we’ve ever had. The food is top notch, and somehow the service still outdid it. Sophie was our waitress for the night and was phenomenal. We dined at Fairchild for our 10-year wedding anniversary and she made it a big deal.She mentioned to us that some people will split the entrees/pasta dishes into two shared courses which was perfect.We started with the unbelievable hamachi and mushroom tempura. Both were unreal. You can feel the precision in the kitchen.Then we got the Riso Nero (this is a guess on the spelling) and each piece of seafood was perfectly melted-in-the-mouth delicious.Next was the steak, which paired nicely with the truffles and other items that they put on the plate. We enjoyed it with the Brussels sprout side and fava bean side with the steak course as well. The Brussels sprouts were good but the fava beans outshined it. The herbs they are cooked with take it to another level.We finished off with the pumpkin panna cotta dessert and it truly could go toe-to-toe with some of the best desserts that exist.What a wonderful experience and we can’t wait for another opportunity to go back!“
“Fantastic service by Mathias, it’s not very often that I give a 25% tip but he truly deserved it. Food was so delish, fast, and fresh! Highly recommend the Spicy garlic edamame and pork buns to start. We had the lobster dumplings which were equally as delicious. We will be back.“
“I went here for lunch and it was super busy. I suggest ordering ahead of time and picking up because so many people were there. The sandwich itself was good and there’s a lot of food for the price. The main reason for only four stars is because of how busy it is and how their hours are very limited.“

“Really kind and helpful Waitress but it gets chaotic and crowded really fast! Just be prepared that it won't be an ideal spot for conversations or for dating in a more relaxed setting due to the noise and people per square foot space :)“
“I can’t say enough about this wonderful bar. I was hesitant to write this review just because I don’t want this gem to get too busy that I can’t find a table! But of course this place deserves way more than a 5 star review. Staff is friendly (understatement), drinks are out of this world (understatement) and everytime my girlfriend says “can we go to Oz?” I can’t say no! Such a unique place and the staff are so incredibly accommodating. I could say wayyyy more great things but I’ll stop here for now!! Love love love!“
“Once again you did not disappoint. We went for brunch this time, EXCELLENT. The food was spectacular, service was great. Our waitress Laura friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bartender took pride in her craft. Owner is so personable and had come to our table everytime we have been in. Highly recommend!!“
“We had a blast here!! If we had more time (we had reservations elsewhere for dinner), we would have stayed for a few hours!We walked in and were immediately greeted. We had a group of 5, and they didn't mind us rearranging an extra chair in the front seating area to accommodate our group. They filled us in on the process, and the wine selection was fantastic. They have bourbon and also had a specialty cocktail option.The decor was also gorgeous, we will be back!“
“Very convenient for campus meetings. Rooms are modern and clean....walls z bit thing (or neighbours were noisy). Amenities on the main floor are lots of campus food...even a pub. Bed was comfy. Would likely stay here again if the opportunity arises.“

“Overall was good me and my friend went here and ordered 2 things chicken wings and cheese curds and just saying the curds are the best I ever had and that’s saying something I have had my curds in my time will get again when I come back but I don’t recommend the chicken wings they are not good. and the menu didn’t have any prices so I assumed just getting 2 appetizers would be probably like 15-20 bucks turns out just the two appetizers was $40 which I know you can charge whatever you want but 40 dollars for 2 appetizers is outrageous but apart from the price would highly recommend just don’t order the chicken wings there bad just get all cheese curds you won’t regret it“
“I was pretty happy with the food here, though there was a variation in quality. The fried food was really good (fries and calamari fries). The hamachi and ribs were also good. Wasn't a huge fan of the tacos (pork and short ribs). Nice ambiance but very dark -- not really any windows. Good drinks and service was great. Id give them 3 stars for the food and 4 or 5 for everything else.“
“Me, my boyfriend and his brother got together for a nice dinner in Madison! I’m from the Milwaukee area so we wanted to find a place with great food and a view for a special occasion, and this was THE best choice! One of our party’s flights got delayed and they accommodated our reservation change!We ordered pork tacos, the chef special gnocchi, calamari fries, four-cheese flatbread and the pork belly bites. Everything was absolutely amazing and so tasty, with more flavor than expected! Everything was piping hot and delicious, and our waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was lovely with an amazing view of the capital building. It was an amazing evening, thank you for such great food and service!“

“Went to the Merchant to have a nice date night, food was delicious although a bit pricey, interior was a nice, dimly lit modern vibe Carmelized onion fondue (8/10): was more of a dip rather than fondue, but the flavor was incredible, chips were good too although my personal preference would have been some crusty baguette slices Charcuterie board (10/10): wouldn't change a thing, every element was sooo good especially the mustard which was a surprise, loved the variety Braised short rib (9/10): short rib was so soft and almost melted on the tongue, enjoyed the potatoes and beet underneath as well, cabbage puree was an interesting choice a bit grainy but didn't take away from the dish Steak frites (7/10): steak was smaller than expected, fries could've been crispier but were still solid Only concerning part of our experience was that our waiter seemed a bit afraid of us and wouldn't check in very often. He also waited for a group of white women sitting behind us and seemed much more comfortable and chatty. I can't help but wonder whether this was because of our racial identity (me and my partner are both Chinese), but don't want to make any assumptions. Waiter wasn't malicious by any means and provided standard service which was just a bit awkward/uncomfortable.“
“I came here for a fun networking event that was tucked away in their little lofted area in the back. They have some great seating and games tucked in there. It's a great space! You can order food while you are there, they have a wine dispenser bar and all sorts of cute glasses to choose from! I am not a wine drinker but they had some beer options too! This is definitely a great space to meet friends of network!“
