“Great neighborhood bar! We have enjoyed dining here often. Our regular server, Cole, is always friendly and does a fantastic job.Parking: Parking is easy and close to the door.Kid-friendliness: The bar area is separate from the dining room. We have no problem taking our grandsons here. Great kids menu too.“
“I personally had a wonderful experience planning working with Momo's when we had our Lunar New Year on 02/13/24. They exceed expectations from the food that they provided, space, and decorations. I would love to plan another event there in the future. If you're looking for a venue to have your next event, with a centralized location, give them a call.“
“My friend and I both had the signature Chicken Picatta and shared the smelt. The Picatta was outstanding. The smelt was good but the tarter sauce was even better! Our waitress was fabulous. We went right at opening and were immediately seated. Restaurant filled quickly and then there was a wait. There is a nice cocktail/beer list.Other reviews mention the lack of parking. Don't let that deter you. Just know you'll have to park and walk a little distance. My friend has been here before. It was my first time. Certainly planning to visit again.“
“If you’re ever in need of a late night Friday Night Fish Fry, the Squirrel’s Nest will not disappoint! My husband, mom, and I are visiting my grandma in Madison and needed to show my husband a real Wisconsin experience. We walked in at 8 PM and sat right down and ordered fried wall eye and hash browns with cheese and onions, also served with a dinner roll and cole slaw. They all had a Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet to drink of course. Everything tasted AMAZING and was exactly what we would’ve hoped for. We will definitely be back!“
“Jordan's is one of the best bars in the city. An excellent food menu with daily food specials, not to mention a Friday Fish Fry that could rival anyone else in Madison! An awesome atmosphere for any Wisconsin sporting event with Badger football GameDays being the crown jewel. Super friendly staff and just general great vibes any day of the week. I really can't recommend this place enough!“
“New to the area we found this restaurant on yelp. We went for a hamburger and were very happy to have stumbled across a delicious meal, welcoming atmosphere, and additional entertainment with bingo. We will be back for both the food and bingo.“
“If possible I would give 1,000 stars. DJ is my spirit animal, and new bestie. His mom and grandma must be awesome and everything about the folks who frequent this place is comforting. My people and I can't wait to visit next year as this years pop in has created memories I want to repeat!!! Drink here!!!“
“Went for a bit to watch the basketball game. Without the patio being open it was quite full and limited seating. The turkey blt was good and the onion rings were great! The pizza here is really good as well! Service was attentive and quick. It was pretty loud with the TV's and people talking/yelling.“
“Layla's food here is excellent. We went here for dinner last Saturday and had a wonderful Brazilian inspired meal. The lamb was really tender and flavorful, the rice and beans were really tasty, the cheese bites were nice and chewy, and the hearts of palm and avocado salad was probably my favorite part of the meal. This is a nice small neighborhood spot for drinks. I love the labor friendly atmosphere. They also have delicious fries and other bar foods available. The drinks are incredibly affordable too and the bartender was really friendly. Will definitely be back for a Friday fish fry!“
“The Red Zone on GameDay was the perfect atmosphere to watch the early game while pre-partying for the Badger football game. Drinks were in the expected price range. It was odd that you could readily get into the building, but they were restricting people from getting into the outdoor beer garden. Thinking it was some weird Madison overregulation. All-in-all, a great place to be on game day.“
“Ten pin alley is a very good bowling alley with a caring and conscientious staff. The rental shoes are clean and in good condition, and the selection of bowling balls to use (if you don’t have your own) is diverse covering many weights and grip/hand sizes. The lanes are very well maintained as are the other areas and all the equipment and tables, flooring, seats, etc. They cleaned and re-oiled the lanes as we departed so the league play the next morning would have the best conditions. The scoring system has some funny animated options that families with kids will like, and there are options to modify your bowler names and well as whether or not you want bumpers all controlled by individual bowler.I was there for a company function and the venue worked really well. Because there was a nice community room for eating and there was space in the bowling area for a dj/small band. There is also a bar for beverages adult and otherwise… nice options.“
“Visited during a Wisconsin basketball game. Great drink specials, cheese curds and service. Atmosphere for watching the game was great, plenty of TV's and lots of cheering. Highly recommend the homemade tomato bisque, it's comfort in a cup.“
“We love it. Me & my Pop's. Out of edgerton, we plan a stop at Dutch Mill whenever we're in Madison. In addition, we make our Dutch Mill a destination for pool tournaments. Great food. People are our type of peeps. Welcoming & fun. They are the whole B.O.W. (ball of wax)“
“Lots has already been said about this place, but a couple things that I haven't seen as much--1. It is very dark in the dining room and the bulbs are pink/red. Like, I wanted a good look at my burger after I cut it in half to check out the toppings, and I had to turn on my phone's flashlight.2. The menu says that all burgers are cooked to medium unless specified otherwise, but mine arrived with no pink.3. There aren't any seating options that aren't barrel style chairs or booths. The barstools are the same as the chairs, just higher. It's good! I'll go back when I'm in the neighborhood at an off peak time.“
“Great place to bowl and hang out. This is our go to spot for bowling in town. Very reasonable prices. We usually buy 2 hours of bowling and can rent shoes for just a few dollars more. They do have some discount nights and bowling league nights, but we've never had to wait or been unable to bowl. They've also got quite a few arcade/pinball machines, a bar, and outdoor beach volleyball. The only down side is we've occasionally had rowdy and slightly drunk people in the neighboring lanes, and the staff don't really do anything to tamp that down.“
“Part of a private event. The room, food, and bar service was awesome. The availability to rent the golf simulators long with the room was a great activity. Lots of run to spread out. Also nice that at the end of our time we weren't shoed out of the room, it just reverted back to a public space with no personal bar “
