“I love this restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, atmosphere is charming and you will not fine better bread in Milwaukee period. The staff and owner are very friendly. I have seen a few reviews noting slow service, it is a small business and they have limited staff but it is worth the wait. Shorewood is lucky to have such a fantastic coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch option.“

“We've been here several times now, but tonight was another standout. All of the food was incredible, served at the right time and very hot. Drinks were outstanding as well. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. The new breakfast toasts are also worth checking out too. Below is a "pop tart" they made last week and I never knew a pop tart could be elevated but WOW. Awesome.“

“Great lunch & beer spot. Cheese curds are legendary and hot dogs are delicious. Beer variety is great and the chance to get a flight gives you an easy route to try new beers without a heavy commitment.If you have a chance to do the tour I recommend it. Lots of cool history and facts with what these guys are doing.“

“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. And our server (Tanya) was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.“

“I always point people to this spot when they ask where my favorite pizza is. I love the unique combinations that they come up with. We got two pizzas and some spinach artichoke dip. Our server had a lot of energy and was very attentive. We made a reservation on a Thursday and I'm glad we did because the place was poppin. There was live music, too.“

“Went there for lunch on a Friday very busy but only waited 20 minutes. Our waiter was quick and efficient and we had oysters and mussels in front of us with our drinks in about 15 minutes. “My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“O.M.G. You're not going to find better food in Milwaukee. Fight me. EVERYTHING on their menu is either amazing or fan-f#%*ing-tastic. If I were a richer woman, I would walk in and get one of everything on the menu. The first time I tried it, I was so impressed, that the next night when I had reservations to another "foodie" Restaurant, I left after appetizers and came back to Odd Duck. “All dishes are good. I tried lomo salteado(beef with fries and white rice) i did arroz con pollo(chicken with cilantro rice) fried rice with chicken and egg. The fish ceviche its good while u like raw fish and they add sweet potato to it which i never thought i would like with lime juice but its good. I tried one empanada peruana and one columbiana y liked the peruana better. I would be returning here. Prices used to be lower but the flavor is really good so its worth the price. For a group of 5 ppl it was $140.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. And my favorite part of the Fiddle heads is the outdoor seating options open year round. I love that in the winter I can still enjoy the "outside" while cozy and warm!“

“We ate here on 3/9. The food, cocktails and the service were amazing. Knocking a star off for the hostess who told us we needed to be out of there by a certain time. The kitchen got backed up so courses were coming out a little slow. This normally doesn’t bother me but since the hostess told us when we had to be gone, it ruined my ability to enjoy the entree and dessert as I was worried about getting out of there on time. It shouldn’t be something the hostess puts onto the patrons. It was our first time there and I am not sure about returning.“

“I did everything online for my parents' anniversary. I ordered an 8" lemon bundt with a flower on top and a light drizzle. I also ordered 12 bundtinis, custom picked. My mother bakes, so I was very worried they would taste "store-bought", but she liked them a lot, which guarantees we'll be back! And the cake was so pretty and not overly fancy (my dad's words). We all loved the bundtinis because we could get a sampling of other cakes.Now the folks there were awesome - we were running late for pick up and they called to see if we needed to reschedule. Then, the next day, I called to compliment them on the cakes, and to ask a question about how they choose replacements in the bundtini box if they run out, NOT A COMPLAINT, JUST A QUESTION! Turns out, it was an error on the store's part and the store manager offered to replace the whole box! This is the NEXT DAY!!! I told her that's not why I called, multiple times, and eventually thanked her. Profusely.The cakes are top-tier in taste, no doubt, but along with that kind of customer service and kindness... “Well this was a delightful surprise! I attended a themed pop up here and it is absolutely charming. There is an incredible selection of beer and liquor. They even have quite a few mixed drinks available. All of the staff was absolutely wonderful even the guy checking IDs at the door had a smile on his face. It is cozy, comfy, and bright inside. I don't know why there's this trend of painting the interior of bars "stage black" but I'm glad sugar maple has bucked that trend. If I find myself near Milwaukee fancying myself a drink I will definitely make a return visit!“

“A cute corner shop providing top tier service, delectable nibbles and quality sips! So far, everything I've had has been great. My personal favorite/go-to is the lox bagel with a side salad. It's a delicious combination that hits the spot every time. I enjoy their indoor environment when it's not too crowded otherwise it can get a bit noisy. Their outdoor seating in the warmer months makes for a great setting to enjoy a nice meal, a cup of coffee, and the warm weather. If you want a donut or pastry make sure to get up early, because they don't last long! “The food at Anytime Arepa is spectacular! I cannot say enough about how good their food is, especially their Arepas. Empanadas are also very nicely done. And, being all gluten free is a huge plus! First of all, all masa based Arepa and empanada dough is just much more flavorful than flour based.“
