“Went here on the recommendation of a friend, and it did NOT disappoint. We had the pistachio lattes and the Dubai chocolate. WOW. Both were very, very good. The coffee was very smooth and delicious, and I’ve never had anything like the Dubai chocolate. Not overly sweet, but rich, and with a crunchy layer in the middle that really elevated it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We’ll be back soon. Highly recommended!”

“I’ve been coming back and back and back to this place! In sharp contrast to most chinese-american spots, their dishes have nice saucy flavor without being overly salty or sweet, which keeps it pleasantly light (unlike a place like Panda Express).

My only gripe is that the fried rice is not truly fried, but the stir fries are yummy and saucy enough that white rice complements them well! The sesame chicken and the triple delight are my favorites, huge portions for the price! The workers have been very kind to me every time as well. A fantastic staple of Morgantown.”

If you like spicy, this sandwich takes you right to the edge, like only a real jerk can. 😉I strongly recommend this restaurant, the amount of home cooked food for your 🤑is second to none and don’t forget to add those sides…. 👌 The cabbage, rice and beans, plantains, all go head to head with my mommas, 🤫 I don’t say that lightly, truly the best $ I’ve spent eating out in a long time. “We order from Volcano a few times a month for our lunch on Thursdays and the service is outstanding. They help me carry the bags to my car, the order is always perfect - nothing ever forgotten or mistaken. One time I was pulling away and they called me to tell me they had one bag for us full of sauce and silverware and when I circled the parking lot, she was standing there waiting for me! They have the best sushi in town too. I wish I could give them 10 stars”

I am a returning customer both online and in-person when I visit my family. It’s my favorite place to treat my mom- we both love it! They have the best teas! My personal favorites are the cream earl gray (my go-to), arabica mocha, and bonfire! My mom loves the angel’s dream. The food is exquisite- I highly recommend their quiche, soups, salads, and scones. Great portion sizes, too. They have the best customer service. I experienced a one-time issue with an online delivery of teas (at no fault of the Shoppe), but contacted their customer service and they took care of it for me, immediately. They offer online discounts from time to time, so be sure to sign up for texts so you don’t miss out. ❤️”

“What a great experience! We dined on a cold, snowy weeknight. The atmosphere was instantly cozy and every table filled! Yet the service was attentive, our meal perfectly paced. From a creative cocktail menu and great wine list to a dinner menu with lots choices and specials... this place is a gem. The food was delicious! The stuffed meatball is a softball sized standout and the halibut was beautifully prepared and presented. We did not save room for dessert, but I won't let that happen next time. I am eager to get back.”

I will be the first to admit that I usually struggle to find something I enjoy at Olive Garden, but my wife absolutely loves the place, so we go from time to time. On our most recent visit, she was thrilled with her meal, and for once, I found something I really liked too. I ordered the salmon and swapped out the usual side for mashed potatoes. That combo, along with the famous breadsticks, turned out to be a solid and satisfying meal.

While it may not be my go-to restaurant, I have to give them credit this time. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and my wife left happy — which makes the whole experience worth it. If you are like me and Olive Garden is usually hit or miss, give the salmon and mashed potatoes a try. It just might win you over.”

“My dad introduced me to this pizza in 1970. Back then it was called Pizzaria Italia. Same owner today. It is still my “go to” pizza. The owner came over from Italy and trained in New York City back in the 1960’s. When my dad died in 2014, Al came to my dad’s funeral and provided us with free pizza for the reception. Great family as well as pizza.”

The brisket and beer cheese special was amazing. Slightly smaller than I expected, but the bread is just as dense with flavor and as filling as the sandwich toppings themselves. You need it to soak up the beer cheese and meat juices that fall on your plate for sure. The honey cake with honey marscapone was simply excellent. No other words. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and relaxing. The service was top quality and the staff were more than ready to recommend things. Prices aren't bad at all compared to other places and what you get is extremely high caliber for the price. This place is a 10/10. I'm glad they are open on Saturdays now so I could fully enjoy this gem on a hill.”
