“A Sizzling Anniversary Celebration at Bacanora!
We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Bacanora in Phoenix, and what an unforgettable experience it was! The moment we walked in, the lively vibe and cumbia music set the tone for an amazing night. Our server was outstanding, taking the time to explain the menu and making excellent recommendations. The kitchen staff's friendly demeanor added to the warm atmosphere, and it was impressive to see them expertly cooking on an open fire grill.

The food was truly exceptional. We started with the Embered Elote and bone marrow, and it was love at first bite. The smokiness and lime combined to create a masterclass in umami flavors. In fact, it was so good that I wasn't even done and ordered another one to go! The cucumber salad was a refreshing contrast, with the perfect kick from the salsa matcha.

The Pollo Asado was a showstopper – a monster dish that had everything we needed to enjoy. The half chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The quesadillas, papas, rajas, tortillas, and frijoles all complemented the dish perfectly.

Hands down, this was a 10 out of 10 meal. We're already counting down the days until we can come back and experience the magic of Bacanora again. If you're looking for an authentic, delicious Mexican meal in a lively atmosphere, look no further. Bacanora is a must-visit!”

“My wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary last night at The Capital Grille in Phoenix, and it was truly the best experience we've ever had there — and we've been regulars for years. From the moment we were seated, everything felt special. Our table had a handwritten anniversary card and a rose waiting, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch and immediately made the evening feel personal and memorable. Our server, Susan White, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed — never rushing us, always kind, and completely on point with every detail. We started with a great bottle of wine and some appetizers that were delicious. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, and every dish arrived at just the right time. The meal was flawless from start to finish. A special thank-you to Jennifer, the manager, who stopped by to check in with us. She's a fantastic leader — warm, engaging, and very detail-oriented. She asked specific questions about how our steaks were prepared, even reacting with “Oh, that looks amazing,” which showed she genuinely cares about the guest experience and the quality of the food being served. To top it all off, we received a complimentary dessert, which made the night feel even more appreciated and celebrated. Susan and Jennifer both made a meaningful impression on us. They are exceptional at what they do and truly elevate The Capital Grille to another level. Thanks to them and the entire team for making our 19th anniversary unforgettable.”

“The food here has always been delicious. Came here one day cause my usual place was closed. Each experience has been on point no disappointment. Couldn’t believe how good a bean burrito is from here, been going and ordering different places and non measure to the taste of the bean burrito, always delicious no matter what I decide to order here. Whether I go dine in or thru drive-thru the atmosphere nice and welcoming from the staff here they have been very good. CHRIS stands out his customer service is exceptional, he is all that goes in to an exceptional customer service when working with customers. I’m 30 or so minutes now from here but stop when I get the chance.”

But this is what this seems to be now let’s turn the music up so loud people can’t think much less have a conversation if their withsomeone or hear what someone says to them on their cell phone. “This was my first experience eating Ethiopian food, and it was fantastic! The menu offers extensive options for vegans and those who prefer healthy foods. My date ordered the vegan combo, and I particularly enjoyed the carrots in the atikilt wot—they were sweet in the best possible way. I ordered the Doro Wat, which was savory and spicy. The injera, a bread that is like a cross between a tortilla and a pancake, was unique and delicious. They serve a variety of drinks, including Mexican Fanta, Sprite, Diet Coke, Coke, and Pepsi. Their traditional tea with honey and ginger was also soothing and a perfect complement to the meal. There's a full-service bar as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with entire tables of families chatting amongst each other. Every month, usually around an Ethiopian Holy Day, there is a buffet. If you're unsure of what Ethiopian food to try, I recommend starting with the buffet. I will definitely dine here again, especially for breakfast, which I just missed this time! Next time, I'll be ordering the kwanta firfir and scrambled eggs for breakfast—it has my name on it!”

“First time stopping by and we absolutely loved it! We didn't want to leave and had the urge to try the whole menu! The current theme is Lego so there are lovely Lego flowers on each table and awesome giant Lego figures outside.
The woodworking craftsmanship of the booth seating, walls, and ceiling were awesome! Even the bathroom was stunning.
We did the build your own coffee drinks and had the bacon champagne deviled eggs, the farmhouse plate, and the caprese. All of it was delicious!

The abundance of TVs displaying various sports ensures that you won't miss a moment of your favorite game. The staff, including the friendly and efficient waitress Trinity from New York, adds to the overall positive experience. Starting with the appetizers, they are a highlight of the menu. However, the bacon didn't quite meet expectations. To fully enjoy the variety of options, I would recommend trying the sampler to get a taste of everything Twin Peaks has to offer. My father opted for the Bloody Mary, and he highly recommends it. He also tried the fish-and-chips, which he found to be awesome and would definitely order again. As for my own choice, the spicy meatball parmesan was simply off the charts. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was executed flawlessly. Moving on to dessert, we indulged in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake and the Twin Peaks Sunday, specifically the first bite of the cheesecake reminded me of the delightful taste of fried ice cream. The Twin Peaks Sunday was equally amazing, with the combination of hot browning and cold ice cream creating a perfect harmony of flavors. Overall, Twin Peaks provided a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a place to catch a game or simply enjoy delicious food, this establishment ticks all the boxes. I would definitely consider returning, especially for a game night. With the exceptional service, delectable dishes, and inviting atmosphere, I wholeheartedly give Twin Peaks a well-deserved 5-star rating.”

Great ambiance and views, but definitely not worth the prices they changing for this experience. The land and sea came with 3 shrimps. Manager Michelle was not very useful at all.”

This can be a gentleman's club or just your typical watering hole and that's what I can appreciate. I can go during the day and there can only be 3 people there but the bartenders are joy to be around and you just can't find that anywhere. A close friend made the recommendation so when we scheduled our trip to PHX we jumped on the chance to try it out. The Staff was very experienced and willingly shared their food knowledge. The food itself was tremendously fantastic in every possible sense. The beef tenderloin and lobster had so much flavor and the texture was right on point. We had difficulty in choosing just one dessert so we got all 3 and shared them. That was the best decision of the night. Overall we give the restaurant a 10+”

Kona has been one of my go-to restaurants for over 10 years, and their happy hour is a fantastic spot for retirees like me to enjoy a great meal at a great price. They've remained one of my favorite places year after year.”

“Coming from a culinary background (Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef) the flavors and balance of drinks and dishes was spot on. I was hesitant about charred tomato and strawberry in a cocktail, but it was amazing. The beef tallow potatoes had the right touch of kosher salt and fatty unctuous mouthful was perfect. The sabayan was to die for. The service was absolutely top notch. Our bartender (I forgot his name, but he's from NM) was so friendly and personable. He made excellent recommendations based on small clues from our conversation. All in all, a fabulous experience”

“I came in today because I had never been before. I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are $0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake. The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice. The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter. The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach. I'll be coming back as much as I can.”

“We were blown away by Mister Pio! The rotisserie chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender and full of flavor..easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The fresh greens and the sauce were the perfect pairing. Everything tasted so delicious, intentional and made with care.

The ambiance is modern and welcoming and you can really feel the heart behind this place. We also loved the thoughtful touches around the restaurant from the decor to the friendly service, it all made for such a wonderful dining experience. Our son already asked when we can come back, which says it all!

“It was late night and I was hungry after working all evening. This was one of the only things open besides Jack in the Box or Fikibertos. So glad I chose this place! Ordered a large plate with the Honolulu chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was tender and the veggies and Mac salad were very flavorful. The drive thru moved quickly and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new spot that stays open late. Food is really good.”

“This place opened down the street from my workplace a bit ago and I've been meaning to go for a while. Gave it a shot today, and I'm so so impressed!! I got the Rigatoni with mushroom Ragu and a side of meatballs. Came with a slice of garlic bread. Perfect portion, absolutely delicious. Tastes like a homemade meal! “I found Let’s Meet Up in Phoenix and it’s quickly become one of my favourite spots for a relaxed coffee and a game night. The café space is comfortable, with a well-stocked shelf of board games and a welcoming community vibe that invites you to linger. Their drinks, smooth lattes, cold brews, and a good pastry selection, are just right for settling in. What I especially like is that you don’t feel rushed; you can sip your drink, pick a game, and stay awhile. If you’re looking for a chill place to hang out with friends and play something fun, this café hits it perfectly.”

“Just drove in from San Antonio and got here at 9:35p. They close at 10pm. Talk to owner name James really nice guy! I don’t know what tacos i wants told him pick the best 3 and it came out so good! I would recommend the el pastro with pineapple on top is soooo good! First time having pineapples on a taco. Def coming back! Loaded fries was on point !”

“Excellent service, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere inside was great, warm, and inviting. All the sides were incredibly delicious. The meats were very good — I’m a bit of a harsh critic since I smoke my own barbecue at home, but this was good for a restaurant. Definitely a place I’d come back to again!”

“This was a tough one. Everything was very good! If you go here for tacos you will not be disappointed! Go for lunch 3 tacos, chips/duros and a drink for $15. A little expensive but not outrageous.

5 Star - I don’t know if I’ve been to any restaurant where I loved all three salsas. The house tomatillo, chile de arbol, and salsa fresca were all excellent. None of them were really spicy but had hints of a kick. The salsa fresca was probably my favorite though. The chips and duros were well seasoned too!

4 Star - the shrimp , pastor, and asada were all very good. The shrimp were cooked perfectly cooked. The pastor had some char on them and the pineapple balanced the taco well. The asada was a little bland, and I would have enjoyed a little char, but still a good taco.

The atmosphere was very laid back and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the service was fantastic.

4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back.
5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!”

“Can’t wait for them to reopen after their vacation/long holiday (Oct 15 to Nov 18)! This place is absolutely amazing! The portions are huge, and the food is delicious. It’s a small restaurant, and they seem to do a lot of takeout, but everyone I’ve told about it has said they loved it too. I always forget to take pictures of the food as I start eating it immediately!”
