Busy and service a bit slow, not really prepared for lunch rush although server said it was pretty normal that time of day. Food was ok, but a little lacking in some ingredients, and when I commented I was told they were a franchise and everything comes prepackaged or proportioned, so not really able to get a bit more (sauce or something).
There was a diner in Calgary that I used to go to every week called John's breakfast and lunch. This place comes pretty close to that nostalgia for me. I asked for the biggest omelette they have I'm not sure which one it was but it was great. Characteristic strong diner coffee, quick service. Uggggfhhh I uuhgghhggggg their hollandaise sauce with their potatoes is top notch. The staff is wonderful. It's not too busy or loud. The prices are great. The only I complaint I have is that my stomach isn't big enough to eat everything on the menu.
