“We came here on a cold fall day. It was nice and warm inside. Good customer service. The Aerocana was delicious, smooth and not bitter or acidic. The warm Cheddar Chive scone was really good! This has become our goto coffee shop when we're in the area.“
“What a hidden gem. Found it on Google and when we pulled up outside, I questioned it. But the food is excellent ? And the service was great too. Good quality breakfasts and delicious coffee. The bread tasted homemade, and the sausage was worth the upgrade. Also note, the bathroom is a Dr Who Tardis. Amazing. And there were board games to play while you waited (not for long) for food. A great spot that I'll make time for during my next Vancouver visit“

“We have been to La Forêt a couple times, but this is the first time we had lunch there.The Bacon and Shrimp Fettuccine was unexpectedly good. The sauce was super creamy and rich, and the fettuccine was al dente. Hubby said his Panini was pretty good as well. But I just think that Panini is very easy to make isn't it? ?Parking is always an issue. There are just a few free parking spaces provided, and being able to get one is like winning a lottery. Street parking is free, but it is not easy to find a space even on a weekday.“

“I really enjoyed my brunch here! I ordered the Thai iced tea yin yang (Thai tea + coffee) and chicken and waffles which was one of the recommendations. The Thai tea was perfect - not overly sweet. The chicken was cooked to perfection (crispy skin, evenly seasoned). The portions are HUGE - easily could be split between 2 (or have leftovers). Service was phenomenal given how busy they are. Looking forward to returning!“
“Korean run coffee shop across the street from Brentwood Mall. It's tucked away on Buchanan (N side of the building). Not sure how long they've been there, but I found it by accident. Parking is pretty atrocious here unless it's after 2000, at which point the street parking becomes free. The inside is clean and modern and looks like something a bit like a fairy tale. The interior is pretty quiet, which is great for chatting. Staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee I had was pretty decent. This place also sells cakes and other pastries. The cakes definitely looked interesting, as they are concave at the top, as if someone squished a salad bowl into them before baking. I didn't try any and so can't comment on the taste. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point.“
“Went here with a friend as he had randomly stumbled across it. The place is definitely a hole in the wall location but I was absolutely blown away by the food. The tacos I got were some of the best tacos I've ever had and brought me right back to my time in mexico. The prices were average but not too expensive and the location is cute and welcoming. Highly recommend and will be on the lookout for their food truck.“

“Banh mi's are very tasty. Bun on the outside is crispy and soft on the inside. Recommend the lemongrass chicken and pork meatball special.Egg coffee was very interesting too! Just like Vietnamese coffee. The coffee is very bitter but they add sweetener to it (condensed milk I believe...). The tastes compliment each other.Street parking can be difficult to find here fyi.“
“Inside the Sinclair center. Coffe was good, food options not as much. Being close to the gym it's a good spot for a refreshment or a casual coffee. They do have benches to sit in but they were a bit dirty. I don’t think they get much cleaning. Service was fast. Plenty of parking in front but can get busy quickly, especially when games start.“

“I come here almost every week, the food is so delicious and the service is very friendly.The vibe of the cafe is perfect for studying or hanging out with friends, with classic music playing or you can sit outside and they will bring your food out for you.I have been trying out their Panini menu and always get it with some soup.They have great price points for their food at high quality. My favourite Panini so far is the Campanola, but all are so crispy and flavourful. I also like their Italian sodas and have been going through those one by one.“

“As a matcha fan, Tsujiri has always been one of my top matcha stores to go to in Burnaby. However, today's visit wasn't that pleasant. I went to Tsujiri around 4pm and I was the only customer. The staff saw me but didn't say a word nor a smile and looked away, continued doing nothing. I briefly looked at the menu and was ready to order but she was fiddling with things in the kitchen (wasn't making orders or cleaning anything so I wasn't sure what she was doing..?) and I waited to see if she would eventually attend to me but I had to call out to her in the end. It seemed like she did not want to work there.Drink was good as always but I would suggest the staff to be trained more on customer service. A simple "hello" or a smile will change the whole mood. As well as being ready to take the customer's order.“
