“We stopped in for lunch and the place was "jumping". Nevertheless, the friendly staff found a great table for us, and our server appeared in no time to take our orders. My wife had the mulligatawny soup, which she found delicious. I ordered the gouda and bacon burger and must say that it's without a doubt the best burger I've had in the Comox Valley. We both really enjoyed our lunch and would have no problem in recommending Rhodos Coffee & Bistro.”

“I love the Atlas ! every time we’ve been the food is absolutely delicious and unique, and the staff are wonderful. Today we went and didn’t realize it was “all breakfast Sunday”. I had my heart set on clam chowder, with only breakfast food I thought it might not be for me but the waitress was so good we decided to stay and I ended up having the best breakfast Huevos rancheros , it was absolutely delicious .. and I also ordered the wrong type of wine.. well the waitress even changed in the wine for me.. really appreciated her .. thank you Atlas cafe and staff !!”

Everything we ate and drank tasted amazing, the staff were kind, and the atmosphere was great.

Myself and my guests ordered the steak Frites, the pasta of the day, and the fish and chips.

The steak was perfectly tender, the truffle fries were to die for, the pasta was delicious, and the local caught snapper was super fresh. We also ordered the artichoke dip for the table which was the BEST!! We each got two drinks, which were also good.

Even though it’s not cheap, after tip we only spent around $70-$80 each.

Crown Isle 100% worth the visit based off of the restaurant alone. We ate it so fast i don’t even have pictures to attach.”

“A very unique and different style of restaurant.
There is a nice shaded patio where you can sit, or in the restaurant itself. You are greeted at the door by one of the pleasant and friendly servers or hosts. The restaurant looks like something out of Harry Potter. It is all wood, with nice seating booths, through to a stone fireplace. It is stunning and a treat to go and see. Then we move on to the food, nothing can prepare you for the delicious, fresh food items available. Everything is done from scratch, down to their homemade bread and produce brought from their own farm. The array of soup, salads, sandwiches and baked goods available and made fresh is astounding. The meat cheese etc. are fresh and delicious. You can smell the bread baking inside and outside the restaurant, along with the homemade soups and baked goods. The squash soup and smoked meat sandwich are to die for. The soup also comes with a slice of homemade sourdough bread. If you're not satisfied and full enough once you've eaten (hard to believe 😋) you can take bread and baked goods home with you. There is also a store with wonderful soaps, shampoos lip balm all made by the workers.
This is a gem in the middle of Courtney and I highly recommend a visit. Just be prepared to be hooked in and want to visit every time you are in the area.”

“I’ve bought their focaccia bread regularly since moving to the valley 9 years ago and their take & bake pizzas are always a 10/10 as well. But today (for the first time) we tried their cinnamon buns and despite me not being a lover of sweets I ended up convincing my kids to share half of theirs with me because they were TO DIE FOR!!! Not to mention, we were there on a year-end Scavenger hunt from our piano teacher and the customer service, kindness, and general friendly vibe was something you don’t often see. Thank so much to all of you amazing staff at Vassili’s! We will (of course) be back and felt fortunate to get to share your amazing gifts with our new-to-the-valley friends!”

“Had the chipotle tofu main in my burrito, was super impressed. Lots of variety and customisation. Very flavourful burrito. A dairy free cheese option would be good too, and would love clarification on whether any of the salsa are vegan. Only real issue is not being able to swap non vegan items for vegan items. Cheese for roasted vegetables for example is an easy swap and probably more lucrative for the store yet they won’t do it. So instead I will take the cheese on the side and throw away or give to someone rather than allowing the company to save money.”

“I am so impressed with the beef ribs here! Even down in Victoria, restaurants have downgraded their meat quality to thicker cuts with no fat. Saigon Noodle House does it perfectly. The meat is sliced paper-thin, comes in great portion sizes, and features that delicious, flavorful yellow fat that makes authentic grilled beef ribs so good. The lemongrass marinade and sauce mix is absolutely yummy.
Technically, traditional Vietnamese beef ribs require more fresh herbs, but considering Comox is on an island, getting this served with fresh salad, cucumber, and pickled carrots is awesome. Your imagination easily does the rest because the meat and sauce are so spot-on. If you appreciate a true, high-quality Vietnamese thin-shaved rib, this is the place to get it! Cash only or e-transfer, very easy, just come prepared, staff is super kind.”

We are willing to pay for fresh quality and of course quantity. Most importantly what you did right the most today was providing a receipt. Im sure if I was to just clone a list and dropship items and sell other companies inventory I don't deserve to be in business but we have become a culture that does just that. Criminally mark up others inventory. Its just so easy to see today. If your just a delivery service all you can charge people for is for delivery. Its just the reality there is no exception, uber, skip, door they should all have to just bill for delivery and stop trying to criminally marke up others inventory or food items. There are just too many reasons fraud itself is something I can't stand when it comes to the worst offender. Technology. A long story short, thanks for making this right. However Tesla still isn't back to 400 a share so my pain continues.”

“I visited this Subway yesterday and had an amazing experience! Mr. Gill served me, and he was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a footlong veggie patty, and he even suggested a great combination of sauces that made it taste perfect.

What really impressed me was his hospitality — I got there a few minutes after closing (around 9:05 pm), but he still welcomed me in with a big smile and didn’t rush at all. It’s rare to see that kind of customer service these days.

I’m really happy with this Subway and the service I got. From now on, this will be our go-to Subway for me and my family. Highly recommend this location to everyone!”

“After traveling all day and finding all the other restaurants full with wait lists, we ended up at Fluid. Super outdated and quite dark, but the vibe was kinda cool. Our server was fantastic, however, for an otherwise empty bar we all noted the wait time from the kitchen was a little long. OK, a lot long. The food ended up being good so it all worked out.”
