Uncover Agoura Hills' Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“The paleta margarita is always delicious and strong and huge. Comes with lots of ice. The taquitos can be made vegan if you ask for all the toppings on the side and avoid the dairy and dressings (honey). The chips and guacamole are always like the best thing ever. Did you know they have habanero salsa? It'll knock your socks off. Yes, it's spicy lol. For a nicer ambiance ask to sit outside because indoors is a bit noisy. Bathroom can get messy at peak hours. Excellent service. I am a very repeat customer. Good for families or a night out with friends or a hot date. Oh and you can it all to go, just call ahead. Parking is dicey on Canyon Club nights and it can be cold at night. Cinco de Mayo is literally a no go, too busy. I detracted a star because there's nothing inherently vegan on the menu. But I could live off the chips and salsa. Seriously, go try.“
“We love coming here. When you're at Latigo, you feel like family. There are other Mexican restaurants in the area but they are loud or the margaritas are not good or you're just another customer.... You get the point. When you come to Latigo the servers make you feel very important and the food comes out super fast. Not to mention how great their margaritas are... bam, love them. Thanks Latigo for continuing to be our spot to go to.“
“They're so nice! I just came through the drive thru because I was craving a bacon breakfast crunchwrap. I took my first bite and realized I completely forgot it came with creamy jalapeño sauce (which I hate). I went back through the drive thru and ordered the correct way, my card in hand completely expecting to pay for the new one since it was my mistake. They didn't charge me which was so kind. I noticed lately the food seems extra hot and fresh when it comes out so that's a bonus. I don't eat Taco Bell often, but sometimes crave it randomly and this location is very consistent in my opinion.“
“Most El Pollo Loco's tend to be inconsistent with their meals. They either forget utensils, sauces napkins etc (drive thru) and the food they prepare is often very mediocre...However! Doing daily nap drives with 3 toddlers boys, this mama likes to stop and have a quick bite of something more healthy than ur typical fastfood joint while the kiddos are asleep... so I come here on the regular and have NEVER been disappointed! Major shout out to BETZY at drive thru! Always gives me extra sauces and super friendly! Fun to see what hair color she'll have too! Either way...The food is prepared great and always on point! Definitely a great EL POLLO spot and recommend!“
“They used to have a covered outdoor patio but that got taken down but it looks like the place was remodeled recently because I don't remember it looking like this the first time. We visited during the pandemic as our first time and this was our second time back. We were greeted and the lady at the cash register was very friendly and pleasant. I didn't know if I should get the torta or a burrito. I always get a burrito so I decided to opt for the torta this time; it was a good choice. They loaded the torta up with fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese, and avocado, and they have the grilled onions on the side, which were delicious addition with a little bit of chips. I got horchata to drink, and it was very tasty. Perfect mixture. Overall, the establishment was very clean and there was plenty of sauces and sides to complement the dishes. The dishes or bag, and I would've loved for my boyfriend to share my torta, but he was too hungry and the food was too good. The customer service was top-notch and we would definitely return again.“
“If you're looking for a delicious place to eat traditional Mexican carnitas, this is by far the most superior spot. Dont let the huge line out the door scare you away, they move very fast.Traditional hand made tortillas, fresh food and great customer service, you can't go wrong.“
“Fantastic service great vibe. Food was good a little above average. They are a cantina but DO NOT serve alcohol. They said they will be soon but as of our visit they did not. The pork belly was amazing and the best dish we had. The quest fundido was delicious but the addition of chorizo would have made it over the top delicious. The Asada is not a traditional Carne Asada. It was a bit chewy and I would not get it again. The breakfast tacos were delicious. You can't go wrong giving this place a try and maybe you'll enjoy the asada more than we did. I will definitely be back once they open the bar and give other items a try.“
“These guys hit it on all that counts! The service was great from the second I walked in until I left! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun! That's a lot of exclamation points but they earned it! I started with the House Margarita with Chips and Salsa, both were great but the salsa was to die for. I had the Fajitas El Patron for dinner, OMG...the steak and chicken were so tender they could both be cut with a fork and the flavor was spectacular. Loved the shrimp too and the veggies were caramelized to perfection. Can't wait to come back!“
“I ordered lobster tacos. The lobster meat is cooked perfectly, the cabbage gives it a crunch, and I like the spiciness from the chipotle aioli. This atmosphere reminds me of dining out in Mexico. Superb service. I recommended all to try this place.“
“Had a wonderful time for a bridal shower. Unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful patio due to the weather but they created a beautiful indoor space for us. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ahi tacos. The black beans were a bit bland though but everything else was tasty.“
