“Perhaps, I should Yelp my generous friends who have given me opportunities to try foods that I'd normally not try. This one was totally unexpected as I was meeting a friend at his workplace to exchange some items. When I pulled into the parking lot, he was waiting in front of his building which is next to this location. As we exchanged bags, he handed me an extra bag, telling me that, due to our 1 pm meeting time, I didn't have lunch. Having run a morning errand in Chinatown, I actually had my meal in my office waiting; I know, what a considerate friend. When I returned to work about twenty minutes later, I took a picture of the meal and placed it in the refrigerator, knowing I'd enjoy this later in the week. He got me a patty melt with french fries ( something I haven't eaten since the Lucky Penny on Masonic closed since that's where I ate my last one. With my new education in restoring leftovers, I reheated the patty melt ( and fries ( They were still delicious two days later and my meal was filling. I especially loved that they gave several packets of Hunt's ketchup (my childhood favorite) which paired perfectly with the fries. Thanks to my thoughtful and generous friend, I had the pleasure of enjoying this throwback meal. He mentioned their prices being reasonable and that their spaghetti was pretty good. Guess I better keep my eyes open for their weekly menu.“
“You have your own area of dining separated by glass wall. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Manager Mei ( May ) particularly attentive we like her very much. Even it is a Japanese type BBQ restaurant the kitchen is separated on one side you won't get smelly after eating there. We went there twice just to make sure they are consistent. The only thing I may complain is just the parking sometime it's hard to find parking.“

“I have been going to Bonne Sante on a weekly basis for several years. Karen, Dan, their kids and their awesome team knock it out of the park every time I am there with their welcoming environment and fantastic food. Nobody on the staff of Bonne Sante is throwing temper tantrums and their food is not oil drenched as others are suggesting (unless you request it). I highly recommend Bonne Sante with zero reservation. In fact, I am heading over to Bonne Sante today for a delicious sandwich and great company.“
“I've been to a different Blue Line Pizza somewhere else and this one was just as good. Thanks for the quick service and delicious pizza! Whatever you order you can't go wrong, it's all good. One complaint I have though is that there aren't any Blue Lines in Sacramento or near Sacramento. Could you please ask corporate if they could open another location somewhere nearby? We will drive even if it's an hour away, but your location is a little far for a regular visit.“

“We recently visted Half Moon Bay and were drawn to the delicious baklava in the window. Little did we know, this gem of a restaurant not only has fabulous food (definitely try their falafel and lentil soup and baklava) but incredibly gracious and welcoming service. “I have been grabbing pizza from here from time to time and they never failed to make a great 4-cheese white sauce pizza. Reminds me of what my mom picked up back in North Carolina when I was a kid. Ordered on the phone today and the guy accidentally heard “Portuguese” instead of 4 Cheese. They had both on the menu, I had no idea so I felt bad! “I can't believe it took me so long to try the pizza here! I thought it'd be just another pizza place, but I was so wrong. Weirdly enough, we ended up ordering here because we wanted boneless chicken wings and this place had some. So we ordered the boneless chicken wings and a pizza (half Tuscan Garlic, which has a white sauce base, and the other half was a custom request of a white sauce base with salami). And WOW. The white sauce is so deliciously creamy, and the toppings tasted so fresh and were just bursting with flavor. Even the crust is yummy. The chicken wings were delicious too (they're shaped more like balls, fyi). They have a thick crispy breadcrumb style coating. I like dipping them in the white garlic sauce that came with it.“

“I have lived in Brisbane for 3 decades now. When my kids were younger, this was a regular spot for them after school for nachos with everything or for family dinners or occasional weekend breakfast. Since they have grown, I don't go as often, but drop in from time to time. I work long hours, generally getting back to town late, plus my big meal of the day is lunch and I generally don't eat an evening meal. This spot has a lovely atmosphere and Rafael is the nicest/kindest man! As an aside, he is also a wonderful supporter of many of the non-profits in Brisbane, so he is well loved and appreciated by the residents. I stopped in recently and ordered pozole, which I had never had here before. I can vouch for the menudo being great though. To my delight, the pozole was AMAZING!!! The to-go bag was packed with rolled up warm tortillas, a sliced whole lime wrapped in foil and small containers full of chopped up raddish, cabbage, an onion and fresh parsley blend, hot sauce (YUM!) and then chips and fresh salsa/pico de gallo as well. The pozole so knocked my socks off that I went back to get it again, this last Sunday, but he said he had sold out the day before... due to it being a popular order during cold/wet weather. He said he would have some this week, so I stopped in last night and bought two big containers - again, absolutely delicious! I finished a half containter last night and brought the unopened one into work today to share with my coworker, who says pozole is her favorite soup of all time, that her family makes it often as well, and she gave this one high praise and even went back for seconds. I am hoping Rafael keeps this as a regular on his menu as I can see myself ordering this weekly, in bulk, just to have in the fridge for lunch or dinner over a few days. Happy to know easy and friendly access to this deliciousness exists so close to home for me... but it would be worth the drive as well!“

“Focaccia is all about freshness, variety, and convenience for me. During the pandemic, they initially struggled with indoor/outdoor seating, remote ordering and pickup, before settling on pure delivery with four set delivery times at breakfast and lunch. My favorite quick bite to eat is a lox bagel with avocado. I enjoy the variety of both their set menu salads and the ability to create my own. Lots of options as well as seasonal options. If I were to complain about anything, it would be that their chicken tends to be on the dry side, but they seem to be improving on that front as of late.“

The thing about restaurants with the word "bistro" in the name always puts a smile on my face. It reminds me of the old TV sitcom Three's Company where Jack Tripper owned Jack's Bistro. That show was hilarious. There's none of that wackiness here though. I had the fried shrimp & calamari $13 as my appetizer. That was good. They put a bed of tomato red sauce on the bottom with some capers. It would have been better if there were tarter sauce available. Chef's choice I guess. It was still good. For my entree, I took advantage of the lunch special $14.50, which comes with a beer or a soft drink. My grilled Angus top sirloin steak came out well done'ish, even though I ordered it medium. It is challenging, to say the least, to cook that thin piece of meat right. Regardless, still good. It took about 35 minutes for the entree to come out if you have a limited timed lunch break like I do. You pay at the cashier when you are done, which is more efficient. Service was excellent.“
