“The sea scallops were superb and the sand dabs were very good. It was nice and quiet when we first got there but got louder as a big group came in. It was fun and wee will go back.”

“My husband and I were visiting Palm Springs again and somebody mentioned that we should try this place. It was so delicious, the sushi, edamame, potstickers, everything, and the staff was amazing and kept checking on us every few minutes. Everybody was so nice! Would highly recommend this place. Very reasonable prices as well.”

“Oh. My. God. I’d never had seafood boil before and we tried this place on a whim. Kiddo had fantastic sweet potato fries. Husband and I had a twosome dinner of mussels and head-off shrimp in crazy claw sauce, which comes with corn, eggs, sausages, and potatoes. INCREDIBLE. Place looks like nothing from the outside and isn’t fancy inside, but the seafood is fresh and delicious! A must-try!”

“Went there for dinner just by chance and had an excellent meal at the recommendation of the host. Really polite service and friendly atmosphere; definitely will be back.”
“Pretty cool spot and quite large. For some reason by the photos I thought would be a little more rustic but it is fairly new and in a large new development. They have plenty of beers and good food. That woman behind the bar was a little prickly at first but got a little better with time. Tried a couple of their beers and was happy with that and would definitely go back next time we're in town.”

“The appetizers, and salads were fantastic, the main courses were varied , the steak was excellent the short ribs were very average, I would not order them again even thought I am a big fan of short ribs. the wines were excellent, and service was great. A little on the expensive side when the main course fell short of very good.”

“My family and I haven't been coming here since the 90s. Whenever we are in the low desert and want Mexican food this is our go to. Salsa is good, so are the margaritas. They have excellent pork tamales as well. Our relatives that come out from North Carolina always ask to come here too when they're visiting. Service is excellent. Not exactly a quiet atmosphere if you're there when they're busy, but not too bad.”

“This place gets busy in a matter of minutes. The sunshine prefix is a must. Great selection from each course to choose from. Good is always well prepared. We only had a couple of incidents with food portions reduced from previous visits, but the quality of food has been spot on.”

“Place is awesome, favorite spot for my wife and I and any friends that come into town. The only place in the desert thats reminds me of my time living in NY and the second to none Italian food. Best carbonara and chicken piccata in the desert.”

“Been looking for at least decent BBQ in CV, so had to try Bubbas. Overall it's good and I would go back, but probably to try the burger. We got the sampler platter for 2, which gave us brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, sausage and a quarter chicken so we could try most of everything. So first off, don't expect a real smoked BBQ experience here. Didn't detect a smoker used at all in any of the meats, just more or less roasted. The hits I'd say were the brisket and the sausage. Brisket was flavorful without too much fat, the sausage was tasty too. But the chicken, ribs and pulled pork were overcooked. All of it falling off the bone which isn't really a bad thing, but cooked to the point of on the mushy side is. This is also indicative of frozen meat. There was virtually no difference between the pulled pork and the rib meat.Over on the plus side, I did like their sauces. Their basic BBQ sauce was on the sweet side, the spicy bourbon had a come through bourbon flavor, and the sweet chili sauce and mango habanero were also tasty. The two sides we chose were also good. The jalapeno pinto beans were nice and spicy, the mac n cheese was also good, but not the best. Corn bread was dense and not much corn flavor.Service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing.Prices were about average for a BBQ spot. Atmosphere was nice, although trying to convey a roadhouse feeling in a strip mall.Full bar with a good selection of house cocktails and beer.I would go back to try their burger, I'm curious about it. And I'd give the pork another try (small order), to see if they just had an off day.”
“Best juice, smoothies, fruit bowls and even coffee/tea drinks along with amazing breakfast sandwiches (husband's favorite) and my favorite, the protein waffle with the works. Breakfast and lunch are fantastic here. Everything is made fresh so it takes a minute but worth it and the staff is always nice and friendly. It's also a bit costly, but good, pure ingredients are not cheap and they have rent and employees to pay. This is literally one of my favorite places in the Coachella Valley!”

“There were two other parties when we came in. There's music playing on a tv to help disrupt the other's conversations so you can focus on who you're with. The employees checked on us just enough and not at awkward times like when our mouth was full. The food was good. I forgot to take a picture of our main dish which was the sweet fire chicken it was just the right amount of spice and sweetness for me. It came with pickled radishes on the side, a small potion of white rice and a few pieces of fried rice cake. It was first introduced with their house salad which was light and even the dressing was not overbearing, they paired well. Our dessert was Hotteok with Green Tea Ice Cream and I really enjoyed it. The Hotteok was a nice consistency and was sweet and tasty. I used it to wipe up the melty green tea ice cream. I'm not quite sure which Beech cocktail we got but it had blue curacao.”
“The food was amazing, and Adam was awesome to work with. We catered in bbq for our wedding, and wow was it tasty. We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage links, bbq beans, Mac n cheese, and corn bread, and everything was exactly what we hoped for. He was on time and kept great communication, and we appreciated that a bunch. I would definitely recommend Adam!”

“Stopped for drinks during HH. Good selection, service was attentive. Beer served ice cold. First country bar atmosphere we’ve encountered in Palm Springs area, not really our thing, but fun vibe nonetheless.”
“So there are two different places called the sand trap this review is for the one in cathedral city. This place is my kinda bar it's been here for over 40 years and the wonderful lady who runs it has owned it for 30 years. It's a total hole in the wall but it's my kinda bar and should be considered a local treasure. So when you go there you have to get the grilled shrimp. She makes them spicy or mild (both were kinda spicy but in a pleasant way). The plate will run you about $35 but it's enough for 2 people to share. For drinks it's mainly domestic beers, bottled or canned. No frills great shrimp and great company check it out!”

“The people who work at both of their locations are always very friendly. They always get the order correct, they have a good attitude and they are very attentive. I like the Supreme Philly, my partner Luke's the Buffalo chicken Philly. Their Philippino food is always good too and so are their mini egg rolls. And the part I like the most is that the dining area is ALWAYS clean! ??”

“Food is 5 star. The Tequila Chicken Pasta dish was out of this world flavorful. It seems it's primarily a nightclub. I wish I could say the ambience was nice. It's not. They need new tables, or at least paint the old ones. We ate next to a drum kit. I'll bet their live music is killer. They have Mexican sport stations on at all times. Plus a nice selection of Guatemalan beer and our server was knowledgeable and helpful. My meal was 17$ and I got three meals out of it. We'll be back. When the food, price point and service is that great, I can overlook the ambience.”

“Sushi salad was awesome. The rolls are very big but not rolled tight enough. The staff, on the other hand, was slow coming back to the table to take our dinner order after they brought our appetizers. They were standing around talking to each other. That was until the boss came in. Would have ordered more but not after being there for 2 hours.Vegetarian options: Avocado roll, seaweed salad, tofu roll, cucumbers salad”

“The place is quite small, so come early or late, because there will be a wait otherwise. This is because the food is just incredible. They might have the best onion bhaji in the region. The spice level is appropriate, although I should have grabbed a level gihigher for my taste. Service is personable and professional.”
“A real stay in town staycation hotel & their Palanco Kitchen restaurant for breakfast is so delicious with very nice waiters/waitresses and bussers I also love their bar menu for late night dinners a great experience”
“I stopped by during the NCAA March Madness tournament ti see if they could get an MLB game from back east. The manager and bartender were very accommodating and found the game and put it on a smaller tv for me. Their recommendations for food and drinks were great! I had the foot long hotdog wrapped in bacon which came with fries and a beer. Thanks for being so accommodating!”

“The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick as I can for lunch. I did pick up a weird smell as I was near the window. Kinda odd almost as if a dog or someone had peed. Other than that smell popping up a couple times I am giving it 5 stars. Burger and fries were delicious.”
