“Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”

The customer service this girl had, was so professional and appreciated. I asked for her name afterwards because she did such a great job. Her name is STAR, I worked at a restaurant for about 4 years and this is the customer service I gave. I was impressed by her suggestions and the way my mom and I kept on getting convinced on adding more to our menu list even when we only came for 2 things, we ended up leaving with about 5 things. So STAR if you see this, girl keep doing what you are doing, even though there is a few in the world that can be, let's say unappreciated in their lives and take it out on the nice people, you keep working hard.”

I had a cortado with 2% milk for $4. It was well made. It was a little strong up front, but it settled after a bit to a smooth and rich flavor. I enjoyed it very much. I also enjoyed the friendly conversation offered by the gent running the kiosk and some of the locals that visited.

“the mochi shop is located inside one of the stores in a small strip mall area. maybe unassuming from the outside, but the display of the variety of mochi that this shop offers shines through the display case. there was less variety when I came in during mid afternoon time. while I am one who loves the red and white bean paste mochi offerings, the store also offers a good variety of flavored, fruity, and even cheesecake mochi. the lady helping me out told me that most of the mochi options are vegan except for the butter mochi, cheesecake mochi, and milky mochis. I love that she got excited about me asking about whether the red bean pace was tsubuan (chunky) or koshian (smooth). for reference, it seems that the red bean paste mochis use chunky paste, while the white bean paste mochis are smooth paste. my friend and I and my partner loved the mochi we ate. I used to frequent by Osaka-ya in Sacramento for mochi before moving to San Diego, so I’m very happy that this store is here. I'll definitely come back here for more!

“Went here probably 8x, mostly made the same order and it came out different each time. If a menu says the pizza toppings, you'd expect those toppings or get told if something was out. Nope 1x we literally had a single sliver of green pepper and 2 slivers of onion.... 2x there were no veggies at all. 1x asked for no mushrooms and they put extra. I even showed the owner pictures of the previous pizzas and pictures of the receipts, he said he would fix it. The next visit was the correct pizza and decent portion of chicken. The following visits were back to the same missing veggies and such.🤷🏼♂️ The consistency here is just horrible. Some times the pizza is cooked perfectly and others it is soggy and cold in the middle. As for the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it often has a very very small portion of chicken. 1x it was what I felt a decent portion. If they were more consistently good we'd be back probably weekly. I would say 6 of the 8x we had issues. I don't like sending food back, but also want what I pat for. Some staff are very friendly and do an excellent job, checking in just enough. However some employees seem they hate their job and we have to ask 2 to 3x for more water or ranch. I was excited to have found a new place, but sadly the overall quality is just a coin flip. For the price it isn't worth the hassle. And our visits have never been during a busy time. I won't accept anything to return, I have it enough chances. Also don't believe their 5 star reviews as they offer you a free desert in exchange for a 5 star review.”

The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. “Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”
