During dinner rush, I've seen a line even during weekdays. ⚡ The staff is friendly and the food was ready quickly. ? Got the Señor Sisig Bowl with tofu, medium spicy, and it was OK. The flavor overall was sweet, not savory enough, missing acidity to brighten it up. I don't like sweet chili sauce and it tasted and looked like the tofu was marinated in it. The garlic rice wasn't garlicy. The medium spice level was nice, not too spicy for a whole meal. I'd try the vegan chicken next time. ? Pretty good value, ~$14 + tax“

“There aren't a lot of Filipino food restaurants in sf let alone kamayan style! This is a cash only restaurant. Came here for my birthday on a weekday early lunch. No frills, very homey style Filipino restaurant with an awesome selection of Filipino food. Many of my friends first time going there. Reasonably priced and delicious! Service was amazing. They accommodated for about 14 people and although we were waiting for a couple more people to arrive the person working said he'd start working on the kamayan ASAP so we wouldn't wait too long. I believe the two people working this day was a couple and perhaps the owners. They were very nice to us and seemed just as excited for my friends to try our food too and even explained what sauces went with which portion of the kamayan. They do give plates with Banana leaves and utensils can be used upon request but kamayan is meant to be eaten with your hands. Overall it was a very fun experience and I'd seriously consider coming again! I know my friends truly enjoyed this experience too. Kay, who was working there was so incredibly nice, walked me through the menu, and we gushed about NYC's vegan food scene.The crunch shop was incredible. It was packed to the rim with all the right flavors and textures. If you can't decide what to get in you're hungry this is definitely going to fill you up - I wasn't able to finish at all.There isn't anywhere to eat inside, but it's an order at the window situation and then there's a table outside to eat at. “The fried pork chops (center) are delicious and a great value. The sarangani (left), a smoked fish fillet, was a great surprise. The meat was moist and tender with a smoky flavor. The tuyosilong (right), whole dried fish the size of sardines, might be too much asian flavor if not accustomed to dried seafood. I would definitely come back for breakfast/lunch. BTW, the leftovers are delicious if reheated in an air fryer.“

“Glad we walked all the way to the end of the terminal to try Mama Go's Filipino Cuisine because it was delicious. They had a line but it moved relatively quick and we weren't in a rush. Service is so kind and generous. It gave off a homey vibe and they had some authentic class Filipino dishes which is a plus. Price was on the higher side but it is the airport. The garlic rice was fantastic and went well with the chicken adobo. The entree also came with a side dish, which is a great selection.“

“I've lived in the area for three decades, (South Bay, East Bay & the Peninsula) but only recently discovered the historic 7 Mile House and can't wait to return. In fact, I'm headed there right after I post this ;.) I walked in on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner to-go and sat at the bar with affable locals who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was warmly welcomed by the bartender; cocktail service was swift and with a friendly smile. Their mouth-watering menu offers much to choose from. After some deliberation, I selected their pulled pork adobo sandwich with a "side" salad which was an enormous serving of fresh field greens (entree size) along with the gigantic, succulent sandwich which DID NOT disappoint. The meat was tender and smokey, and their adobo is what I'm going back for today ! “I found this place when I was searching for a special/unique birthday cake that I have never tried before. The halo halo cake caught my attention instantly. I personally love eating halo halo so I was super excited to surprise my boyfriend with it. I pre-ordered it ahead of time. Store pickup was easy. The overall halo halo cake taste was good but felt something is missing. Maybe we just prefer the halo halo dessert more than a cake form but definitely recommend to give it a try.“
“Amazzzzzing crispy pata! I'm so glad that I gave this place a try. The portion is huge and the meats are super tender and juicy with perfectly cooked crispy skin! The fat to lean meat ratio is perfect too. I'm obsessed. This is the second time I've gotten crispy pata and I wasn't very sure if I want to get it in the beginning because I got it from another restaurant the first time and it was pretty dry and chewy. And as someone who cooks I understand that frying something this big with no batter on it would easily make the lean part of the meats too dry and the skin too hard, but they did an excellent job. I would have never expected the lean meat to be this juicy and soft. It took half an hour for it to get delivered to me and I was walking in the rain with it in my hand without an umbrella for half an hour after I got it, yet it's still burning hot on the inside when I was ready to eat it. I would 100% come back again for the crispy pata and I would like to try out other dishes too! Filipino food is my new thing now“
“If you want a quick and easy poke bowl, Hi City is definitely a good stop to come by. It's in the financial district, so a lot of workers come here during lunch hours.They have preset bowls on their menu, or you can just create your own. I ended up getting their preset bulgogi bowl as well as the salmon poke bowl which I ended up building. They have lots of different marinades for their salmon and tuna proteins, so it's nice to see those options. I will say the bulgogi is quite salty from the sauce, so you definitely need to eat it with more rice to dilute the flavor if you get it. Other than that, it's a pretty simple poke bowl shop. Nothing really out of the ordinary, but it's still good.“
“From Bayhill to Metro Colma, Manila Eatery has been my family's go-to turo-turo spot. Family owned with good Filipino comfort food. We have never been completely dissatisfied with this establishment. The flavor of their dishes is consistent while portions and pricing is subject to changes in our economy. It's a typical turn-turo where you literally point to whichever dish you want, the ambience is minimal, it's comfort food so one can't expect an upscale environment. Service is also consistent and the staff are always friendly. The trick is to know what time of day to get at their dishes, you snooze you lose. If I can recommend my top dish, it's their chicken Mungo. It's the best delivery vehicle for bagoong next to Kare-Kare.“
