“I love trying new vegan places but finding a new one where you would least expect, is awesome! Showed up around noon and the place was empty. The employees were really courteous and helpful and recommended a few items I should try which made ordering an easy choice. We (family of 5) ended up ordering 2 Chinese combo plates and a taco plate (one of each). Took about 15-20 min to make which isn’t too bad considering I didn’t call ahead. The Chinese food was good but the Taco plate was excellent!!! Definitely going back to try out more of the Mexican dishes. Plenty of parking.“

“We walked in and were immediately greeted very warmly by RJ. He made several suggestions and my wife settled in the fish and chips, sweet potato pound cake and RJ suggested the strawberry smoothie for me. My wife loves mushrooms and I can’t stand them, but RJ convinced me to try the “fish” which is made from mushrooms. It actually wasn’t bad at all. The seasoning did a great job of masking the mushrooms.The smoothie was probably the best that I’ve ever had and that damn cake was so good.The atmosphere is top notch. The pictures on the wall were amazing. Keep up the great work RJ, I’m proud to see a young man doing his thing and providing excellent customer service and a great product along with it!“

“First time we try this place and it has become our new fav brunch/lunch spot in Long Beach right away!The food is super tasty and healthy, definitely one of the best vegan food I ever had in LA. Even though Crenshaw is a main drag. The seating is set away from the street. If you haven't been you need to go.“

Being Mexican-American, I know these dishes and how delicious they are but let's be honest, HEAVY!! But these dishes hit the taste spot for some good Mexican Food! The restaurant is small and a bit rough looking (especially the bathroom) But the presentation and flavor of the food makes up for all of that. We had the Scooby roll, volcano roll, miso soup and garlic edamame and everything was absolutely delicious. “Clean, cute, good service, yummy. I got the Bachos which like a Jamaican nachos. I never had Jamaican food to know but I liked it. Salty for me but I don't add salt to anything and the Frito type chips already come that way I think. I got the lentil as my protein, which was like crumbled falafel. The cheese sauce was like a salad dressing texture and flavor. Reminded me of Cesar salad dressing. I think I found a raisin in there and I didn't mind. Would definitely come back. “The matador was spicier than expected, but super delicious, my husband is not vegan and confirms that its not just good for vegan pizza its delicious for pizza in general. When we realized how spicy it was the 10 year old with us was taken aback and we were fully prepared to go take him to eat elsewhere, but I believe it was the owner came out with a pizza that had been a mistake pizza for him and he LOVED it. “We came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush. It was perfect timing. We're also vegetarian so we tried several of their vegan/vegetarian options. They have an extensive menu and tons of options. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.“

“Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for another visit whenever I’m in this area!“

So great to have a dairy-free (vegan) spot to come to, even though it's an hour and a half from my house ?Only downside was how small the shop is. “I got the level 7 K#1 soup, which wasn't too spicy. For a spicy meal I would ask for a higher number. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“

I ordered a cake via their website for a co-worker who is vegan. I am not familiar with a lot of restaurants in town who offer fully plant based products so I was stoked to find one who fulfilled my order same day (within 2 hours at that!). I went to pick up the cake and the staff was so friendly and helpful with my many questions on the establishment as I had never heard about it before. Once my cake was done, the staff who assisted me took the time to ask about when the cake would be served and gave me helpful tips on storing it until the next day. The attention to that while they were busy was wonderful! On top of the nice service, I also bought a caramel apple cinnamon roll to try at home. My my my it was very tasty!! “So many plant based protein options!! I got the carne asada burrito which was pretty great but I wish there was a little more variety in the filling. Followed up with a crispy potato taco which was amazing - so crispy and good. And then, since they were about to close, they gave us a free churro donut and it was so delicious! Excited to come back and try more plant proteins in taco form. Patio seating decor is so cute but they do have indoor seats too.“

We also got the tuna salad made out of jackfruit and the potato salad and the macaroni and cheese, and it was so delicious and so well-balanced and it didn't taste like overly heavy. The dough was good slightly crispy bomb sauce topping where good and fresh. The sauce was the star of it. What about the vegan slice well ima be real with you it was amazing idk what type of sauce they used but it was good. Next time I'm going lg Supreme and the lg vegan bellflower pizza. “I ordered takeout at Blue Bird Haus on a Friday evening. I ordered online and received quick confirmation and my order was ready fairly quickly as well. It's surprisingly difficult to find sushi places that serve vegan rolls other than avocado/cucumber rolls. Blue Bird Haus has a wonderful selection of vegan rolls, ramen, and appetizers, and more. I ordered the V-Alaskan roll and veggie egg rolls. It was so delicious and filling. FYI it does come with pickled ginger and wasabi and the V-Alaskan is 8 rolls. While delicious, it is pretty expensive but that's to be expected as plant-based alternatives are usually pricey. Either way, this place is delicious and I definitely recommend it.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan section of the menu available online and in the restaurant.“

I would say that the hot honey would be the best, still need to try the other flavors. The mild was ok, it was more of the seasoning instead of a sauce which was kind of disappointing, but still enjoyable. The fries were decent, but to be fair it would've been better if I would've eaten the fries then and there instead of waiting to get home. Overall, the service is great, I ordered online and as soon as I got there it was ready for pickup. Great vegan chicken spot!“

“I feel this Kevin Hart fast food chain scratches that junk food itch at reasonable prices in comparison to other vegan fast food restaurants. I did not find any indoor seating at this particular location, but it does offer a nice courtyard with plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. I had the double burg'r and nuggets which both really hit the spot. I recommend trying out one of their locations if you're ever near by one.“

“I had Cena Vegan for dinner on a Tuesday night. I ordered the taco trio, rice&beans, and horchata. The proteins I chose were: barbacoa, carne asada, and pollo asado. The tacos were fantastic and the tortillas are great. The meal was completely filling with the tacos alone so I didn't finish all of the sides. But the rice & beans were flavorful as well. The only thing was that two of the tacos tasted similar (because there is no description on the menus of what the tacos contain I can't be sure which tacos they were). There was a taco with jackfruit that had a smoky flavor that tasted different than the other two. I'm assuming that was the barbacoa.Things to note: Cena Vegan (and other restaurants) are located in the Partake Collective building. You can order ahead of time and pick up at your designated locker, or you can order in person using tablets (cashless payment only). You can enter Partake on 5th or Elm but note that there is currently construction going on so 5th around Partake is closed off to pedestrians. Street parking is available, and you can also park across the street in the shopping center. You can also eat in the Partake building or take your food to go.
