“This is definitely a unique experience that you shouldn't miss! The staff is very attentive and welcoming, warm atmosphere, and of course the food is really good with a lot of options.

The atmosphere is not too noisy but festive. Great for a dinner with family or friends, or as a couple.

It's the second time we come here and we will come again.

“My gf and I got 1 lb of snow crab, half lb of clams, half lb of shrimp, extra potatoes and corn with their signature Loui sauce. They give a free side if you get 2 lbs+ of seafood. We got the garlic noodles which was amazing with their seafood boil. If you like garlic, this is a must have! The food was fantastic and atmosphere was great. Service was standard - no complaints!”

One of my favorite tea shop around Bay Area. Love it!!!!”

I always like getting a Philtered Soul Cold Brew. Always consistent throughout the bay area.

Only downside it is significantly more expensive than other coffee options in the area.

Parking can get super busy during peak hours. When they are busy, coffee could definitely take awhile to come out. Definitely use the app if you're in a rush!”

“Their mango desserts are da bomb! This is the place to come whenever you crave for mango desserts. They used to be out of mango pancakes often and now it seems to be more available.

We had their mango pancakes, mango mochi, Pomelo & Mango With Sago, and Taro Black Glutinous Rice (hot), they're all great.

Their Coconut Pudding with Black Glutinous Rice comes in a jar and it's delicious.

If you like to get something to drink, their Mango & Coconut Juice With Aloe Jelly is excellent, taste like the one I got from HK before.

The place is pretty spacious in general but don't have that many tables inside. They do have a patio for outdoor seating. Expect a line when you come during peak time.”

“My favorite tea spot in the bay. If you want high quality tea freshly made from loose tea leaves full of aroma, this is the place for you. My favorite is their dragon well milk tea. I cannot go to other tea places after I have it. They don’t have the hypes like Heytea or Molly tea but their tea is way better in my opinion. Give it a try and you will be able to tell the difference!”

Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now”

“Came here for a casual date night on a Friday. Place was pretty empty for a Friday which meant we got seated right away, and staff was friendly throughout. Portions run small so plan to order more than you think you need. Still a great value. For the food itself:

The Dan Dan noodles are the move. Oily, salty, spicy, and the Sichuan peppercorns actually numb your face and stick around. Makes sense they're the most popular thing on the menu.

Chicken xiao long bao were good but the broth inside was weak compared to other places I've had them. Still good though.

Chicken potstickers were well executed, good crisp on the bottom, but nothing standout about them.

Sweet and sour cucumber was a solid starter and looked nice, but the slices were too thick to actually be able to rip out.

The egg fried rice is really good. Oilier than most but that's exactly why it works.”

“This place is one of the most underrated restaurants ever in the bay. The udon noodles are a little pricey and the menu doesn't have much variety but the food is one of a kind. Their udon is the best I've had anywhere in the city and is on the same level as those restaurants in Japan.”

Classic asian style cream cakes that are moist and not too sweet which I love. Their cheesecake(?) was really rich and tasty and I also loved their Christmas chocolate matcha strawberry cream cake!”

“We tried the mozzarella with sausage corn dog added sugar, because we like to live on the edge. We also got a potato hot dog with no toppings. Let me just say whoever decided sugar belongs on a hot dog deserves a raise and probably their own holiday. Sweet, salty, cheesy perfection!
The potato dog? Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Everything was SO good and super filling.
Staff was incredibly friendly, even with a line out the door—which, honestly, tells you everything you need to know. If you see a crowd, just join it I'm sure there has to be a reason it's crowded!! We will be back!”

“The Hainan chicken is really good, the rice is good too, but grilled chicken is little too dry. Portion is okay, but I wish they give more chicken and less rice. Plenty of seats nearby, but not very clean and can get very crowded sometimes.”

I had this sizzling hot plate experience previously in a different chain Singapore and loved it rated 4-5 stars (depending on different locations)

I felt this one was only ok
There wasn't a lot of meat and the rice on the hot plate became a bit too crispy/dry and overall it was not well seasoned so I needed to add a lot of garlic soy sauce (which was delicious). The beef plate here was bland (and unfortunately I must compare. The other restaurant in Singapore had meat and veggies on hot plate and rice on side. It was just more food, better quality and much more flavorful) so I had to give this a lower score bc I've had better.

The service was excellent and restaurant clean and modern.

I probably won't come back.”

The VW bug on the wall is an iconic feature that you never forget. I always stare at it while eating my pizza, it is well decorated and installed on the wall. Got the scallion pancake, beef dry noodle, Hainan chicken and rice, and pickles. All of it was excellent.

“This is one of my favorite places to go for a hearty braised meat meal. Every dish is cooked to perfection and the flavors are interesting and remain authentic. Today we got the braised pork rib which were tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the duck gizzard which was very tasty. Highly recommend this place!”

“For me, the gold standard is a chocolate chip cookie. If it is not good, then nothing else matters. That being said, the chocolate chip cookies here are good but not fantastic. A bit too sweet for my taste. The other cookies are a mixed bag ranging from decent, to interesting, to unusual. Some work and some don't. We liked the brownie batter and the snickerdoodle was middle of the road. The cookies with Oreo crumbles and fillings were not our cup of tea at all. Location is clean with courteous and fast service and plenty of parking.”

I love their on the side soy sauce and chili oil, you can customize to match your taste. The chili oil is not too greasy or spicy, but smell amazing on the rice. The amount of the meat they serve is also very reasonable.”
