“Best Popeyes Experience Method: Download the app Order Drive-thru using the app. You can even order on the app while you're in the parking lot. No need to rush because yes, this spot is popular and there could cars waiting in the drive thru lane and some may be ordering for a whole dang football team. (So delivery is also an option.) Popeyes is generous with the special offers in the app. Leave it to a NOLA-themed place to get Americans dipping fried foods in mayo like we're all hanging out on the Champs Élysées with a plate of frites. TRUFF! Get some nuggets. They used to have 6, now the smallest serving is 8. Share some or just enjoy all 8. Carefully dip in the Truff winter black truffle mayo that has just a hint of spice. Made with cage-free eggs, 100% sunflower oil and other good stuff. Right now it's just a buck for a very cold, fresh, good-sized serving of "spicy" TRUFF. Join a gym in January or beef up your standing workout. The French were looking trim all those decades of eating frites and mayo, so don't trip. Enjoy life!“
“After my first day of training for a new job , I heard church bells ringing ... but not the type you are used to on a sunday morning . I like to consider myself 'el pollo amante' but more specifically fried , after reading horrible reviews I was convinced everybody was going mad & am glad I came by for lunch . Picked up an 8 piece spicy with a small gravy to dip in , look at the pic to see the brown glistening goodness - your gf's forehead could NEVER look that greasy & it all tastes delicious .“
“This place is a ridiculous gem of a spot. Rather unassuming from the outside, but inside is a super focused, stylish and capable kitchen turning out a small menu of greatness. It almost goes without saying that this is not grocery store rotisserie chicken. You actually get crispy skin here, non generic seasoning and nosiness throughout. It's also served with fresh mint and cilantro, and all the chimichurri you can stand. The sides are impeccable with next level roasted broccoli and Brussels, both also served with herbs and bright sauces. All wrapped it up with really great service. Date night-level ambiance too! Only thing is you need to be ready for stinky leftovers because the amount of cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli) you can get, but it's worth it.“
“On a whim, my daughter and I stopped here for lunch. We split the regular fried chicken sandwich and, I kid you not, it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was perfectly cooked. Very flavorful in all the components. Very impressed and will definitely be back the next time I'm in SF.“
“Oh my the place resembles a true image of a "hole in the wall", but Oh!, don't let the location nor look fool you. The food is absolutely amazing! The chicken will have you thinking, "This reminds me of home!" The sides were delicious too and lastly, the counter staff were very polite and respectful. When I'm in the area, I'm most definitely going to return to, Gus' World Famous Fried Chicken!!!“
“Really solid meals here at an incredibly affordable price. My friend and I came here after a run and wanted something more filling but healthy. I ordered the chicken bowl, which came with a ton of herbs, lettuce, pickled onions, rice, chicken, cucumbers, and a chimichurri sauce. Both the protein and the sauce are customizable! This meal could definitely have been split into two if I wasn't so hungry. Overall, delicious food and friendly service! I'll be back to try their fried chicken next time.“
“Relaxed setting to get their famous fried chicken sandwich with a chicken claw in it! The official menu item is the Claude the Claw. If you go frequently, they give you a card where after you order 10 sandwiches and get the next one free!“
“Second time eating Kokio and still delicious. Spicy wings were not too spicy. I caved and used a glove like they recommended, much better eating experience. Would be nice if the tofu balls were a little smaller, they tend to fall a part, but that hasn't stopped my husband from gorging on them.“
“The classic sando is terrific! Really delicious! The place was busy but they still got my order out quickly, hot and fresh! A no-frills place, but a really good chicken sandwich. $20 with fries and a drink? Have you tried McDonald's lately? I'd rather have the Bird any day, and things are more expensive in the city anyway. If I lived in the neighborhood I would frequent this place. Go check it out!“
“Got the bacon cheeseburger and made it a double. It was perfectly cooked; both the burger and bacon. My partner got a steak burger with fries it is huge for the price. I suggest adding cheese to it. Very large portion of fresh very hot fries. I’m the picture I added that is only half the fries. I had the rest with my burger. Can’t wait to try other food here“
“I've been meaning to try Dave's Hot Chicken for awhile after seeing their LA and Denver locations! Went to a show at the Paramount Theater and walked over to Dave's. The menu is pretty simple with their different order packages (Sliders/ tenders with sides). Went for the number 2 which comes with 2 sliders and a side of fires. It's cool you can pick two different spice levels for each slider! Got the Mild and Hot to try ($16 total). The Hot is bearable and you won't be dying for water (it's Extra Hot or higher that will get you to that burn feeling!) You can also order some of their sauce and honey to add on to your sliders and it's bomb! The fries are also cooled perfectly (and you can immediately dig right in without it burning your fingers or tongue). I'd definitely come back here!“
“We were on a Breakfast Burrito binge. We were trying as many top-rated breakfast burritos as possible. We came across this place while waiting for another place. This place was better than the rest!!! Absolutely great!!! Go here as good, if not better, than all the other top-rated burrito places. They got our order wrong, but it's still AMAZING!!! I asked for toasted and Acado instead of guacamole. But they did not toast and put guacamole.“
“I hadn't been here for a couple of years but had a chicken sandwich craving. The flipped chicken sandwich I had was perfect. Filling, very tasty, reasonably priced. I was a little surprised at first at how much cole slaw was on the sandwich but one bite calmed me down. That first bite was pure heaven...and so were the rest. Service was very good, and there's nice vibe. I'll be a regular from now on.“
“Great staff with great service at all times....I got a fresh made to order 8pc after 11pm on a Sunday that's excellent service and was not expected at all, thought it was too late, glad I asked ? fresh and fried halal chicken, taste/quality/service all ?“
“The only disappointment I had from here was that they were out of gumbo when I went the last time... I'm from Louisiana originally, and that gumbo is comparable to any bowl I've ever gotten there... on top of that, they're incredibly friendly and generous...Vegetarian options: Fried okra, Mac and cheese, jalapeño poppers, banana pudding, French fries, hush puppies“
“I am thoroughly impressed with the Krispy Krunchy Chicken spot located inside my local convenience store. Its close proximity to my residence makes it a convenient dining option, enhanced by the availability of various snacks and essentials within the store itself. The staff at this establishment are efficient and courteous, ensuring prompt service without compromising on quality. The chicken here consistently exceeds my expectations, always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I am particularly fond of their honey mustard dipping sauce, which adds a delightful tanginess to the crispy chicken. Additionally, the jambalaya stands out as a highlight on the menu, offering a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The honey biscuits and honey blueberry biscuits are delectable accompaniments to the chicken, while the potato wedges are a hit with my kids for their quick and satisfying snack. Personally, I recommend the chicken tenders for their juicy tenderness and exceptional taste. In conclusion, Krispy Krunchy Chicken provides a delightful dining experience with its flavorful offerings and efficient service. Whether you're in the mood for crispy chicken tenders or a spicy jambalaya, this spot has something to satisfy every palate. I highly recommend giving it a try for a truly enjoyable dining experience.“
“I've been to many different locations for rooster and rice across San Francisco. This had been my first time at this location and it was nice. It definitely was given a corporate lunch location as it's under office buildings. They forgot to add a few items to our order. The food always delivers though, especially if you order the traditional dish.“
“Been here a couple of times and the food is good and consistent. It's never overcrowded and the food is ready fairly quick. I was going to go for the reaper level hot but they wanted me to sign a waiver so I passed. I think I will go for it next time. I usually get the two sliders and fries. The pickles are always crisp and fresh. Good food and service all the way around.“
